Pickup details

Please re-confirm your pickup timing 48 hours prior through our web-portal. Passengers need to be checked out and waiting by the concierge desk in their hotel lobby at the beginning of their pickup time. Please be aware that your driver will wait for 10-15 minutes before departing, at this point the transfer will be declared a no show. When picking up from private addresses your driver will ring the buzzer or a contact number whichever is required.

What To Expect

Getting from your London accommodation to port can be complicated, but it doesn’t have to be. Simplify your travel and prebook a private transfer. Just enter your details – ferry or cruise ship sailing time – when you book, pay in advance, and then show your voucher to your driver.

Travel in a spacious sedan for up to three passengers, or a minivan for up to eight passengers. Nice touch: rides are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Price is per person, based on eight passengers per vehicle.

The van we got had a bad odor. The ride went fine until we got to Southampton and then the driver didn’t know how to get to our ship. He called the office and they told him we were supposed to know that! We live in another country which is why we were paying them to get us there. Between us and the driver we were finally able to figure it out.

Vehicle was big enough to fit 6 passengers, 6 large suitcases and 6 carry ons. Driver was late in picking us up but we made it to the cruise port safe and in time for our embarkation.

Maria our driver was fabulous. My only issue was the dispatch. We had communicated in our reservation that our other party would be arriving the day before, however they would be at the airport prior to our flight landing. We were all supposed to be picked up together when our flight landed, which was approximately 12:20 p.m. There was no driver waiting when we got through customs and baggage claim, and when I called dispatch I was told they would be 10 or 15 minutes. By the time all was said and done our driver arrived an hour later than expected. Once again Maria was fantastic and she wasn't even aware that we were ready on time due to dispatch issues. Otherwise this was worth not having to deal with the underground and trains to get to Dover.

We travel from USA to London for a cruise to celebrate our wedding anniversary and scheduled transportation almost a week in advance. Waited over an hour before hearing that the driver was running late but was 15 minutes away. After waiting 15 minutes got a call saying driver was stuck in traffic. After over waiting for almost 90 minutes. I called another transportation company and they picked me up in 10 minutes.

Two days prior to pick up date, I emailed the operator to confirm firm the pick up location, waited until the next day, still no response, checked my Viator app, it showed my reservation was cancelled, I contacted the Viator representative, they answered very quickly. I spent the next 1 hour and 52 minutes getting a new reservation. In fairness to Viator the previous operator had failed to inform them about the cancellation. The Viator representative was very helpful, she made sure everything was confirmed and the operator notified. The next day the operator was on schedule and got us to the port on time.

Yesterday we received a confirmation about our driver meeting us at our hotel, so we were stood outside our hotel waiting for the private hire you arranged for us. We were scheduled for a pick up at 11 am Sunday June 25 and at 10:58 am my dad received a phone call from an unknown number so he didn’t answer. When they called the second time we thought maybe it was our driver. We missed that call so we called the number back and got an agent who told us in these exact words…”your driver got a puncture in his tire and he will not be picking you up and we will NOT provide another car. You will have to figure it out yourself.” My husband was the one speaking with her, very politely, on speaker phone and she was so rude and refused to help or provide a solution. He kept asking her what he should do and she said “sir it’s not my problem it’s your problem” and she hung up on him. I spoke to our hotel clerk, who was extremely helpful, and she said to go to Waterloo train station and catch a train. Getting 8 heavy suitcases plus 4 carry on bags between the 4 of us was a whole other terrible experience but I won’t bore you with that. We had to purchase train tickets to Southampton central, which by the way, was cancelled last minute due to a signal control error. We were put on another 10 car train, having to share with another train full of passengers going to another destination. The train was standing room only with no baggage storage. We arrived at the Southampton train station 1 hour late due to the signal issue, the track maintenance and construction! To further the exasperation the Southampton train station was also under construction. When we got to station there were absolutely NO taxis so we had to walk on the hwy, through a shopping centre parking lot, then a 3km walk on uneven pavement through the port, lugging 8 large HEAVY suitcases. The list of shenanigans goes on and on. The boat, according to the captain , was to set sail at 5 pm and we got to the boat at 4:14 and we were the last people to board. We are pretty upset, it caused absolute mayhem between the 4 of us, as we were arguing with each other, it was VERY stressful. We would like to get our money back from this incompetent company plus we believe they should pay the extra $400 we had to pay for the expensive train tickets. We had such a great experience with our driver from Heathrow to our hotel, we are quite surprised at the polar opposite experience we had today.

Driver was very nice. Odd to have to stop for gas after 30 minutes of 2-hour trip. Based on ad, I was expecting a large, clean vehicle but it seemed to be drivers own small car with his garbage and sticky floor. Drive safely and got us there on time.

We were picked up on time by our driver during the morning rush hour in the South Bank area of London. The car, a Toyota Prius Hybrid, was clean and comfortable for 3 adults and 3 medium check size suitcases and three carryon duffle bags/backpacks. One of us took the front seat and two in the back which gave us plenty of space and the Prius had terrific storage space for our bags. Our driver was polite and did a great job with getting through the traffic! We left London for Southhampton at 9am and arrived in a little less than two hours.
