Efficient and cost effective Pickup location was central and easy to reach. Drop off at cruise terminal seamless.
Very easy, affordable coach transfer to cruise ship 2 hours away. Bus was already outside of the hotel when we arrived 20 minutes early, & waited on a couple of guests running a little late.
Easily accessible in central London, the bus was adequate, driver was on time. Would have been better if the bus was clearly marked with a Viator sign as there were other busses using the site also.
Driver was timely and helpful but 2 late passengers meant 30mins late then very heavy traffic meant 3.5hrs instead of the expected 2hrs.
They stop at the restroom about a few miles from the port and not everyone is back in the bus on time. This causes loss of time.
Driver was competent and got us to our cruise terminal on schedule, no problems, coach had A/C, coach was clean and seats ok
The shuttle does not pick you up at the hotel that you are staying at. It’s up to you to get to the pickup point. Pretty easy using uber. When you get to the pick up point there is no signage on the bus, as there can be a few pickups being done. We had to ask the drivers if they were ours.
Driver left half an hour later, clients need it to help him accommodate luggage he had no idea where my terminal was
Took a little longer than expected getting everyone loaded, but once that happened motor coach was very nice and ride was easy. People on board wanted to use onboard restroom, but it wasn’t available. There was a 15 minute pit stop made halfway for people to get off and use restroom and get something to eat. Once at the port, it was a little confusing with the luggage since we had people on different cruise lines. They unloaded everyone’s luggage at the first cruise terminal and some passengers were afraid their luggage (for the next stop) was going to be put on the wrong ship. It all seemed to work out.
Overall I was very happy with the experience and would certainly book again.
My transfer to Southampton got off to a rocky start as it seemed like the driver missed me. Fortunately Mohammed stepped up to the rescue. He was at the hotel for a drop off and was free to shuttle me to Southampton He coordinated with the office to make it happen. I was so grateful and fortunate to have run into Mohammed!
We were promptly picked up at the London Heathrow Airport and taken to our hotel in London! Very good experience!
The bus ride was very pleasant. The driver was courteous, professional, and a good driver. We arrived at the port on time and were conveniently dropped at the terminal.
Motorcoach was on time and clean. Motor coach had NO air conditioning, and we had a 2 +hour ride from London to South Hampton with no ac in 90-degree Fahrenheit weather. This was an embarrassment to Viator
management and monies for this trip should be partially refunded to all guests on this bus. Not happy with my first experience using Viator.
The ride was smooth and comfortable, and I appreciated that. However, it was disappointing that the driver spent part of the trip talking on the phone. Even though the call was on speaker, I don’t think passengers want to listen to a personal conversation during their ride. More importantly, the driver’s full attention should be on the road. Passenger safety depends on the driver being 100% focused while driving, not dividing attention between driving and a phone conversation.
Our driver made our transfer from London to the Southampton cruise terminal completely stress-free. He arrived on time, was professional, friendly, and helped us with all of our luggage without hesitation. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and the ride was smooth from start to finish.
Excellent service. So convenient to use. Took us straight to our ship which was nice. They handled all of our luggage once we arrived at the terminal. Highly recommend!
This 3 hour bus ride had no air conditioning during the London heatwave. It was terribly hot inside the bus and we were sweating the entire time. Multiple complaints with no resolution.
The coach left on time but then drove around London for 40 minutes to pick up two passengers from another hotel. We arrived an hour later than expected at Southampton port. The ride was comfortable and well air conditioned. Water was provided.
Convenient and comfortable transfer . The pick up is at the entry to the Hilton Doubletree in Victoria which is easy to locate . The coach was clean and comfortable and we reached the cruise terminal in 75 minutes
The coach may not arrive at the Doubletree on time, delaying your arrival at the Southampton pier. Also, the baggage handler may not give your luggage the best of care.
This was a seamless way to get from our hotel in Victoria Station area to Southhampton. Driver was on time and expected us. I was surprised it was a large tour bus, somehow I was expecting a van, but it was very clean and comfortable and obviously a popular option as it was full. Really could not have had an easier or better experience.
We assumed that we would be in a vehicle with 2 or 3 other couples but instead it was a huge bus with perhaps 30 passengers on it. When we arrived at the Southampton cruise terminal all other passengers were dropped off at their respective 2 ships before the 5 of us cruising on the same vessel were dropped off. The total time from when we were picked up in the Victoria district of London to when we arrived at our ship was three and a half hours. Viator never stated any details as to vehicle size, number of passengers, or anticipated travel time. The experience was very disappointing.
Process was so smooth - driver was amazing, very friendly and knowledgeable about the port and where each group needed to be dropped off.
Super smooth. Was a little concerned as we kind of left it to the last minute. So did a search and this came up. Communication was perfect. Enough to assure me I was going but not a text or notification every hour. The tech was smooth. An email got me a ticket that I could easily load into my Apple wallet. Driver was early and took care of us. Left on time and dropped right I. Front of our cruise registration.
No bathroom for 2:30 hrs. Bathroom locked. No stops. Absolutely unacceptable. Hearing driver instructions very difficult.
Arrived early to pick up, very accommodating and pleasant. Got to the port at the exact time that was stated. Very reliable.
Overall excellent transfer experience. Great communication with the company--we were able to pay extra to get picked up directly from our hotel. The driver arrived early. We were the only passengers in the extremely comfortable van. The driver pointed out landmarks as we drove through London such as Buckingham Palace and Harrod's. We arrived safely at our hotel in Southampton ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this transfer service if traveling to Southampton for a cruise.

Ride was not as bad as thought since traffic was light.
