Experience & crew both amazing
This was a great experience, made better by the effect crew we had: Captain Michelle, Nate, and über excitable whale need Griffin. We saw orcas, pretty, and a lot of humpbacks. Griffin was VERY excited. Flukes, breaches, and feeding. Highly recommended experience!

#1 highlight of the cruise
Truly, highlight of the cruise. The double decker boat was so nice. It had two full-size bathrooms. The captain and crew were so good. We saw at least seven whales, pod of Dall's porpoise, and lot of sea lions. Three hours is plenty of time to enjoy it all.

Perfect Experience!
The helicopter was a perfect fit for the 3 of us and another couple. Pre-ride was efficient and each person was weighed. Riding to the glacier was not only beautiful but amazing. Pilot, Jules, did a very nice description of different things we saw. She loved her job and it showed. Walking on the glacier was like a surreal experience for me. And we even drank some of the perfectly clear water. Loved every second of this. Don’t go to kennels, you miss the experience ofvthevicecwalk.

All-in-one top experience
JWT is a super small business with a fantastic boat (with a wrap around dek) for only a small group of people (20). An experienced captain (JT) and a very knowledgeable biologist hit the jackpot for us. After entertaining us with stories and telling us we never would see orca’s they found a pod of 8-10. Followed by 2 real up close surfacing whales (Sasha and kelp). Who the could recognize from they’re flukes. To top it all off they found us a mother orca with a Juvenal calf and a baby calf. Besides all the great footage we got for our self, JWT also shared the top 10 pictures of the day made with a great camera. All in all a top experience with I highly recommend

With no roads in or out, Juneau might seem a strange choice for a state capital—but it’s certainly no strange choice for travelers looking to experience the 49th state. From this town hanging off a mountainside, there’s nowhere to go but into the wild: Juneau tours lead to the foot of glaciers, the playgrounds of whales, the edges of the forest, and beyond. Of course, gold-rush history and Alaskan cuisine shouldn’t be overlooked, and there will be plenty of time for that between whale-watching, hiking, paddling, and getting familiar with America’s wild side.
