Lovely small minibus tour of the west of Iceland. Driver was right mix of information and sitting back to enjoy the journey listening to a great mix of music. Just about the right amount of time at each place and very relaxed. I would say scenery is more stunning and untouched than the south coast. Definitely recommend this tour

Your only concern is getting to the BSI bus terminal. You get there, your work is done. Reykjavik Excursions is a well oiled machine. Keep your eye on the timetable for your scheduled bus to the Golden Circle and don't forget your bus number. The drive out to Thingvellir and back from Gulfoss are the longest legs of the trip. Plan accordingly. Those seven hours go by quicker than you think, so savor every minute of them.

Lagoon experience was amazing. Bius Tickets - we and the transport staff were however unclear where to get paper/device tickets transferred but bus staff and lagoon staff proved helpful. It was unclear what the correct bus company was, even with barcode in hand. Some improved instructions on the confirmation would be useful but regardless, of the hiccup, staff were lovely and very helpful, it was an amazing experience once we got there. It would have only been better if the bus operators weren’t confused by whose bus we should be on. The confirmation didn’t state the bus company and provide the correct references. Both bus drivers were very confused. Paperwork info needs broadening to include bus company details in case of issue. So please check with the operator before you leave and get written confirmation details . We wasted a good half an hour - 15 mins both ends, with people not knowing if we were there customers. This meant we kept getting moved from one bus to another by drivers. It was slightly embarrassing.

We had an amazing day on this trip, all of the places we visited were good, especially the Secret lagoon, the waterfall was brilliant. A big thank you to Tomek the bus driver who made it a very smooth ride and coped better with an icy car park better than anyone here would ever do. Our guide Gergo was very informative and fun, would love to return to Iceland and maybe do another trip with Bus Travel Iceland, very organised.

This is a MUST DO. We had an absolutely fantastic day. The day is long and busy but so worth it. The bus was brand new and very smart / comfortable. We made 3 extra stops along the way so got to see extra waterfalls and an extra glacier. The stops are frequent enough so that it doesn’t feel like you’re sat on the bus for hours. Big thanks to our guide Evaluna for making the day so special. Your passion for this beautiful country shows and this was a very memorable day. The south coast is stunning - we preferred this tour to even the golden circle. Thanks!

I had some initial misgivings about the tour but it was fantastic. Ebbi, our guide, was incredibly enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and just fun. He was a great story teller and is passionate about his home. Late in season, we still saw plenty of puffins.

Such a good time. Guys are great and the get you prepared in nice warm jumper suits. We got to see whales!!! Three of them came under the boat what an awesome experience! If you get seasick like I do don’t worry about it, it’s not rough!! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with this excursion! Our guide was very knowledgeable and told some fascinating stories about the history of Iceland as we drove. We were able to bring our little one (with a car seat) with us which was a big benefit because not all excursions allowed children. Because it was a smaller tour group, it was more tailored to our preferences as a group. Our guide was also flexible in dropping people off at various locations (along the way) after the excursion which helped us see even more in our short time there! Would highly recommend! The only suggestion we have would be to make the meeting place a little more obvious, it took us longer than expected to find where we needed to be.
