Cesia was amazing and so knowledgeable. She shared a lot about her homeland and answered so many questions. She and the driver were so patient with all of us and ensured that we all were able to spend ample time at each spot while still getting us to the ships in plenty of time. We didn’t get much interaction with the sloth, but that is because of the new law that sloths are not to be held due to their susceptibility to germs and getting sick. However, the monkeys and the macaw were fun and interacted well with the group. I do not drink so I wasn’t sure about the rum factory. However, the rum cakes were delicious - so much so that I had to buy some. The chocolate was delicious, but we didn’t dare buy any to take home for fear that they would melt before making it back to the ships. All in all, this was a fabulous experience. Everything was covered by the excursion feed except for the tips. We would highly recommend. Thank you, Cesia for such a great time.

Wonderful time visiting Roatan. Alanys was very engaging and full of knowledge. We enjoyed visiting with the monkeys and seeing how chocolate was made. The rum tasting spot was much to be desired, but the view was amazing and the beach after was lovely. A great option for families.

Great day out, Alanis was a fantastic guide. Very informative and very funny too. Loved the monkeys. Chocolate was tasty, have the frozen fruit dipped in chocolate. Rum cake was amazing!!

We had a great time on this Roatan excursion. Everything was well organized and easy.
The beach was the highlight, super clear water and the perfect place to relax. The monkeys, parrot and sloth were really fun to see, and the chocolate and rum tasting was a nice extra. It was a great way to see a little bit of everything.
Our guide Dariela was great, friendly, knowledgeable, and kept everything running smoothly.

We had a great time in Roatan, and Cessia was a kind, accommodating guide. While the chocolate and rum stops were basically just shopping, it did provide a nice opportunity for a snack, bio breaks, etc. The main reason to do this tour is for the animal experiences and the beach break. We were lucky enough to have just one other family with us, who were also interested in staying at the beach stop longer than originally planned.

It is a fun filled day. Alanys was awesome and kept us engaged at every stop. The food , the rum, the chocolate were all very good. The monkeys and the sloths were lots of fun.

This was an amazing experience, Alanys and her husband were wonderful. They shared lots of facts about Honduras and took some awesome photos of us throughout the tour! Totally recommend this if you're visiting Rotan!

Edgar was a very nice person. Our cruise delayed our arrival to Honduras port, and he waited for us. Responded to messages very quickly. After that, he was very kind and showed us around, explaining all the cultures and everything around us. Edgar was very enthusiastic and informative. I highly recommend this tour.

The chocolate tasting and rum tasting are just in strip malls. The monkeys and sloths were neat. They take you to a beach, which was nice but it was raining the day we were there so we didn’t stay. The tour guide was very nice and accommodating

This excursion was great! Not only do you do everything that is listed, our driver Jeff, which by the way is the greatest tour guide ever, we stopped at a local place for lunch and then to a souvenir shop! We packed so much into one day and we got back to the ship in plenty of time. Do yourself a favor and ask for Jeff when you book this. He was great! The cool thing about this excursion is that you get to see so much of the way the town is. Local culture, local food, local attitudes! Every stop on here I highly recommend! We had an enjoyable time being able to have monkeys jump on us and see the sloth and macaw. Lovely scenic ride to the rum factory and chocolate making. The beach break was OK. No seats on the beach are available to tour guests, but you can sit on the patio tables. Guide was very interactive and friendly. Although, make sure to keep track of the time you need to be back on the ship if you are on a cruise. Took us to a local restaurant as well. He did debate me on when we’d be back and we got back late. All in all was a great excursion.

The meeting place was a bit tricky, but ask around and people help you. There was only one sloth that you can pet but not hold. The monkeys are in a cage and they hop all over everyone, it was quite funny. The chocolate tasting was a bit disappointing, we just got a stir stick of liquid chocolate then could purchase different flavors of chocolate including chocolate covered ice cream. The rum was strong and you could sample several and purchase them.

Had a wonderful time. Oto was a great guide and whisked us safely to each stop. The nature center (monkeys, birds, sloth) was so mum and interactive. Got to hold the birds and the monkeys were climbing all over us. Picked up some great local coffee, chocolate ice cream treats, rum, and rum cake to enjoy later. The beach resort was relaxing and the food was great. Highly recommend this excursion - great value, too!

Our experience went above and beyond due to the personality and knowledge of our driver, Sabrina. She is certainly an asset to your tour. Do wish there were more animals at the one stop. The rum and chocolate stops were great. Capping off the day at the beach, pool was also very nice.

Just outside the port our guide was waiting and easy to find. We walked a short distance to a van that took us to see monkeys, macaws and sloths. The animals were awesome. Being so close was a once in a lifetime experience and for me the best part of our whole cruise. From there we left and went to a little chocolate shop where we got a free tasting and bought some delicious ice cream. Next was a rum shop with a free tasting as well. Here was a gorgeous view, great photo opp and a little bar. After that we went to Paradise Beach. It was absolutely stunning. About 1.5 hrs to spend there with opportunity to purchase lounge chairs or drinks or just go into the ocean. The beach is public but amenities not. We were taken right back to the port entrance at the end.
There was a driver and 2 guides (one in training). All fantastic.
To me, this was a very affordable adventure and a full day of fun. I couldn’t imagine a better taste of Roatan. Please, bring tips for 5+ people. You will have a great time and even with all tips it’s worth it! Highly recommend!!

Excellent tour today with Zemina! Sloths, parrots, and naughty monkeys to start with then chocolates and rum and finally the beach. Lots of info about the country and a great way to see the area. Beach was beautiful with lots of fun options. Jet skis, boat tours and banana boat rides plus great food for purchase. We want Zeminafor a future tour. She’s also a super good driver! Thanks for a fun day in Honduras!!

We had the best tour guide who was very friendly and knowledgeable of the Roatan area. She made the experience pleasurable and comfortable. The sloth & monkey sanctuary was awesome, the trip to chocolate and rum factory all a lot of fun. We had a small group and our tour guide suggested some local food where we tried Iguana. We appreciated the flexibility within this excursion and would highly recommend to others.

From the first stop, this tour was really fun. The nature park we went to first was great. From the monkeys to the sloths, you got to get up close and personal with them. That was the highlight of this trip, but the chocolate and run tasting did not disappoint either. Great views, delicious flavors and the beach break at the end was relaxing. We had lunch at the beach overlooking the ocean. I would highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommend this tour. Jiml was our tour guide and he expertly navigated us through Roatan. Each activity was enjoyable and we especially loved the sloth and monkey encounters. We felt like we had ample time at each stop. It was overall a great experience!

Loved our day! The monkeys and sloths were up close and personal. There were 8 guests in our tour and Cesia, our tour guide let us know we could customize the tour so we chose to eat lunch at a local restaurant and made a stop at a grocery store in addition to the scheduled stops. Cesia was great. The rendezvous instructions were sent through WhatsApp the night before so be sure to watch for those. One of the highlights of our cruise.

We had a good time getting to see the area with guide Cesia who answered all our questions. The monkey encounter was fun and holding the sloth and parrot was something I never thought i would do. We visited a Rum store with samples and a chocolate store with info on cacao. A stop at a local restaurant for lunch and visited the beach which was beautiful. Happy to experience Roatan even if it was just for a few hours.

Cesia and Phoebe were both such wonderful guides! They were so helpful in making sure our large party was able to stay together and are very knowledgeable about Roatan. Everything was very timely and flexible to how much time our group wanted to spend at each stop. We loved seeing the monkeys and ending our day at the beach was perfect. Wonderful way to spend a day in Roatan!

Be careful with this tour. They did not do the rum tasting portion as advertised. Spent most of our tour at the beach which we could have done on our own. Didn’t think it was worth the cost of the tour.
