MEETING INSTRUCTIONS: Please exit the ship 30 minutes after ship doors open.(Both Ports) Coxen Hole/Port of Roatan Cruise Terminal You will meet outside your Coxen Hole/Port of Roatan cruise terminal. Follow the signs that say Downtown Exit. Look for Gate No. 1, exit through the door, and the operator from "Roatan Getaway Tours" will be OUTSIDE your Roatan cruise terminal in the meeting area holding a sign that says ROATAN GETAWAY TOURS. MEETING INSTRUCTIONS:Please exit the ship 30 minutes after ship doors open.(Both Ports) Mahogany Bay/Isla Tropicale Cruise TerminalYou will meet OUTSIDE, your Mahogany Bay/Isla Tropicale cruise terminal. Please walk past the shopping area and then head outside the cruise terminal towards the taxi area. From there, take a LEFT and walk up the small hill where you will find the gaurd post. Exit the port through the guard post, and walk down the hill on the designated sidewalk. Your guide from"Roatan Getaway Tours" will be waiting for you there holding a sign that says ROATAN GETAWAY TOURS.

This 3 stop snorkle was perfect for us and our 9 year old son. The guides were knowledgeable. The transportation was timely and safe. We had the best time.

The morning could start out with raining and your snorkeling adventure is still going to happen. I love Roatans clear water!! It’s spectacular ! Second snorkeling trip here ! Loved it !

Good trip overall, the driver was easy to find and was great to talk with about the island. The weather was rainy but the snorkeling was still top notch.There were only 8 people on the boat so it was very laid back and you definitely felt like you had more than enough time to explore at each location. The guide who was in the water with us was great and snorkeling over top the ship wreck was amazing. The beach stop at Brady’s Cay was also nice, not too crowded and good beachside bar/wait staff. We were not in port for very long and the local time was an hour behind ship time, so this excursion took up the whole day. If you plan on trying to do additional sight seeing, pay attention to your ships arrival and departure times.

I highly recommend this snorkeling excursion. The employees were kind and knowledgeable and the boat was comfortable. There is a lot of time for snorkeling at the the three different places. They excursion ends at a beautiful beach and they let you stay as long as you like and pick you up promptly to get back to the cruise port! Ms. Anna was a friendly and knowledgeable driver

We can’t leave a high enough review of this experience. Jason and his family were just fantastic. We had a nice, informative visit on the way to the dock we departed from. Then we were taken to three fantastic destinations, two with a little bit deeper water and one more shallow. Our guide was super knowledgeable and pointed out fish of especial interest. Then we enjoyed an entertaining ride on the way back to the ship, with Jason spontaneously treating us to some tasty bean and cheese burritos. He was fantastic, and we would recommend this excursion to anyone who enjoys (or wants to try!) snorkeling!

So much fun! The whole crew was friendly and accommodating. A guide picked us up outside of the cruise terminal and then dropped us back off at the end on time for all aboard! I’m usually pretty cautious about booking excursion not tied to the ship but nothing about this was sketchy at all

Excellent snorkeling experience in Roatan. Guides took good care of the group, including those who had never snorkeled before. All enjoyed the sites, especially the deep drop-off site. The crew was friendly and helpful and provided interesting information about the area. The beach stop was very crowded and a bit short on time; the food service was so slow we had to leave before receiving ours; they were disorganized, so that part of the excursion didn't meet our expectations. The time spent on the boat and snorkeling, though, made it a worthwhile day. RECOMMENDED.

So, it’s a bit crazy when you get off your ship to find the tour company, who are waiting along with 30 other tour companies on one street outside of the port. once we found the right group, we had to wait about 30 minutes till everyone arrived. We drove approximately 20 minutes to the boat we were going to snorkel from. It was billed as a three stop snorkel tour, which it was… But, we had to come back to the dock after each stop to let people off and pick up new people. The snorkeling itself was beautiful with each location, offering a different experience. After the snorkeling, We went to a beach location and just chilled for an hour. They had food and drinks and hair braiding available ….all in all, It was a very pleasurable day.

Staff was amazing! I originally booked the "3 stop & beach" excursion. Before I write this you gotta know that the day before on the cruise ship, I ate something that did not agree with me! I thought I could still do this excursion and wanted to try, but after the first snorkel, I was feeling pretty unsteady. I asked if I could skip the next 2 stops and go to the beach instead. The staff was wonderful and allowed us to exit at the beach.
The beach was so nice! They had two parrots and gave us cherries to hand feed them.
The snorkeling was amazing. we saw so many beautiful fish. The sea was pretty calm and the staff was very patient and polite and amazing! Thank you so much!

Absolutely amazing experience! The tour guides were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the coral and sea life. You will see tons of species. The beach break at the end is an awesome ending to the tour. 11/10 recommended.

Excellent excursion with three stops for snorkeling and then a stop at Bradys Cay at the end with just enough time to explore, eat, and have a couple of drinks. Nick was our captain and could not have been a better snorkeling guide.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. We got picked up at our hotel by Jake, who was wonderful and knowledgeable. We went snorking at three separate locations, that were all beautiful. The reef was magnificent and the water was warm. You will have a terrific time. We finished our trip at Brady's Cay. They served terrific onion rings and beer.

This was one of my best snorkeling trips ever! Everyone including the driver, captain and guide in the water spoke extremely good English and were very friendly. The guide in the water would stop and point out the names of various fish we saw.

Great tour ! They took our small group out on boat to three reefs and we saw two shipwrecks. Guides were nice and frienedly and helpful.
The beach excursion at the end was fun and short. The only thing is that I was unable to explain to the boat driver that ship'ss time was one hour later than local time. We did not get back to the cruise ship with much time to spare, it's the first Viator trip I have been on where I was worried we were going to miss the ship. Other than that the tour was fantastic and I highly recommend it.

I'm glad you had a wonderful time! Sorry you felt uneasy at the end. But we monitor the ship time with the port captains and always keep in mind it's a 21 minute car drive. Definitely will try to add this in to the amount of time we depart from the beach.

The first snorkel was definitely worth it. The second was still good but the third was too dark to really see anything.
I think y’all should update your times bc we got off the ship for 7:00 per the time on Viator and proceeded to outside the cruise port and after multiple people tried to help we finally found the correct person to meet up with. We were then told we were still waiting on another family who came an hour and a half later. They said they booked on another platform.
The driver takes you to the marina where you board and go to the first spot, then you go back to the marina and pick up a new group and so on. They end the day by dropping you off for your beach portion. The food is pricey but it was good.

Absolute chaos going from the boat to your ride, not organized, but Third World country facilities aren’t organized. Once on the snorkeling boat, captain snorkel guys were all great people, but I believe they’re under a directive to only go to certain spots, certain distances from their base probably to maximize profit save gas and time. Believe years ago had much more Marine life to look at this trip was limited, the corals were plenty for with lots of variation, but the fist population where we went was pretty sad, probably over visited by too many snorkel tours. I’m sure the good spots are saved. Maybe for those who tip bigger or they’re just saved for the locals taxi fish for food? The little bit that we did see was amazing, but I don’t think I would do it again. I think I would try to hire a local person not part of any tour group. See if they could take me to a remote beach where there is reef to explore.

Dear Linda, it's important to be a educated traveler especially when you write reviews. For one now we don't reserve certain areas for "who tips" very immature statement from your because because tip is voluntary and not even ask before time so how to we know who will tip? Well traveled people already know Roatan is part of a 3rd world country and yes this is probably more stable and safe then your home country. Whatever the cruise port have organized in there port has nothing to do with us port is private property and road is public property you must review the activity not the port. As for the snorkeling how can you say the reef was great and variety but no fish? The fundamentals for a nice variant reef is fish. Perhaps you didn't see the firsh you expected to see but we have fish that is for sure. AND this activity is 10000% run by locals and locals only. Maybe because you think this is how it is or should be doesn't mean that's what it is. When traveling to other country do your due diligence before expecting certain stuff.

Look no further ! This was one of the best excursions! From getting picked up by the sweetest local lady named Claudia! She was simply amazing!! We got to our destination and the men working and snorkeling with us were 10 out of 10 ! The snorkeling was beautiful and they help our young’s son who never snorkeled before and made sure he got the hang of it ! The beach we got dropped off was beautiful as well! After we got dropped back off and our meeting spot Claudia asked if we wanted to go to the monkey in sloth exhibit that she had no problem taking us and stayed with us to dropping us back at the port ! We felt like family from the moment we got picked up to the moment they dropped us off at port ! We highly recommend this excursion to anybody!!

Exceptional excursion! We had a blast. The crew who took care of us were all great. I highly recommend without any hesitation. We just completed a 7 day Norwegian Cruise and booked 2 cruise sponsored excursions and 2 independent. This was the best excursion of our trip.

This was probably the best snorkeling we have done! We have been to 14 countries snorkeling and saw more fish and wildlife on this tour than everything we have done combined. I highly recommend staying at the Clarion Pineapple Suites as it is 10 mins from most dive/snorkeling sites.

Overall, a very good experience - despite the weather (it was rainy half the day), the guides did a great job of transporting us from the port, to the marina, and then to 3 snorkel stops plus a beach stop. All the stops were within 5 - 10 minutes of each other around French Cay. The guides in the water were excellent at explaining what we would see, identifying all the various sea life. A big shout-out to Philippe, who was not only a phenomenal guide but also gave an impromptu transport back to the port. Would highly recommend.

Finding the agent was a little challenging if you have never been to the port. You must find yourself outside of the Port and all non-cruise line excursions are streetside downtown. The sign was clear once we found this location. This excursion was absolutely amazing. Our guide, Nick, was educational, helpfully, knowledgeable, patient with those in our group with less experience snorkeling and swimming. Our expectations were completely blown away. This was our first time snorkeling at a major reef. Each stop kept getting better and better. We saw an abundant of marine life and even a shipwreck. The water was rough the day we were there and felt completely safe with the captain and guide doing their job! I can’t recommend them enough. I prefer to book outside a cruise line to get a more tailored experience! We had plenty of time remaining in the day and never felt rushed to get back to our cruise line. Our driver who was also named Nick was very friendly and personable. Educated us during the drive and safely returned us inside the port area to avoid other vendors outside the port walls. 10/10👍🏻

We had an absolute blast! Our day started smoothly when Kate picked us up right from the port. Just a heads-up for future travelers: you’ll likely need to take the downtown exit from the port to meet the shuttle.
Since this was our first time snorkeling, we were a bit nervous, but the crew was fantastic. They were incredibly attentive and made sure we felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Once we got in, it was like entering a completely different world underwater. I can’t recommend this team enough—if you’re on the fence, just book it!
