Beach was great. Nice little beach club with reasonable priced food and drinks. Monkeys and sloths was good too. Short tour at the sanctuary but got to hold and take pictures with macaws and moneys.

My husband and I truly enjoyed the Sloth and Monkey experience. Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable. We finished off our experience at the West End beach, which is absolutely gorgeous. Everyone was so helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make us comfortable.
I won't lie, I was a little leery about booking with a company other than MSC. This was such a great experience that I will be booking through Viator for all future cruises. The cost was much lower, and our experience was much better and less crowded than on the cruise excursions.

Darneyl was a gem! Such a fun day and perfect for my kids ages 3&5. I strongly encourage any family with littles to make this their go to activity. One on one care from our guide and friendly interactions with the animals. The beach at the end was worth it alone....clearly as glass water and hardly any one there!

What a wonderful experience we had with the monkies, mcCaws and sloths. We had just enough time there. When we got to the beach club it was great. We had the pizza and it was awesome. The water was beautiful and the beach as well. Lots of people trying to sell stuff, but that is how they make their living. I would definitely go again.

If you truly want an absolute amazing experience you have to book with MJ tours and attractions!! Very friendly, knowledgeable and the hospitality was outstanding! He recommended his favorite place to eat and it was amazing!!! If we come back we’ll book with them again!

Excellent very knowledgeable driver. (Jose) He was also very accommodating at the sloth and monkey excursion that was a blast! Jose was very helpful and attentative at the west end Beach that we relaxed at. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Try informative, very friendly. Very accommodating. Ernesto was fabulous! Beach break was long but nice. If yuh want to go back early you can catch a ride with a different tour guide.

Picked up right outside of gate 1 after disembarking from our cruise ship. Armando was an excellent driver/guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. We traveled with 2 adults, 3 children (14. 12, 9). Armando made us feel safe and comfortable.

We had an amazing experience on this tour. We were a group of three and we had our own driver who took us around the island in a nice Toyota 4Runner, so that we could see the monkeys, sloths and macaws, and visit the beach afterward. It was absolutely perfect.

We met our driver who wound up just taking my daughter and I. The monkey and sloth part went well but we were then brought to a beach that was not the one we were supposed to go to. The driver told suit was better and close to the other. My credit card was charged about 80 more than I authorized and we were shaken down for a fee for chairs as well. The tour operator refused to make it right! 0/10 do not recommend at all!

You participated in a private tour at no additional cost, where you visited the monkeys and sloth park and enjoyed the beautiful West Bay Beach. Enjoying the experience and even tipping your guide—it’s clear the service was delivered as promised.
No one is ever forced to pay for anything they do not agree to. Any additional purchases or expenses outside of what was included in your ticket are entirely optional and not the responsibility of our company.
You used your credit card at the resort to purchase so where this is our fault.
If there had been any issue during the tour, we would have appreciated you reaching out to us the same day so we could address it immediately. Instead, you waited until after returning home to request a full refund for a completed and enjoyed experience, which is not justified.
For these reasons, your refund request was respectfully declined.

We had a great time. Our private driver (Kayla, I believe) was knowledgeable and super friendly. It was a no-stress tour. The sanctuary was fun and the beach experience lovely!

The monkey and sloth visit is much more than that. The tour should be more descriptive. We saw a lot more animals and birds which was a pleasant surprise.

The monkey sloth sanctuary is more of a zoo and is smaller than expected. Apparently they have other activities you can do like rent an ATV if you purchase it separate tour. We did the sloth monkey and West Bay Beach break tour. The time at the sanctuary was less than an hour, but so rewarding. They let you into the cages and the monkeys sit on your head! You can no longer hold the sloths, but you can get really close to them and they even had a little baby! West Bay Beach was fun and the pizza is pretty good at the thirsty turtle bar. Our tour guide was helpful and we had a great time. I just wish we would have realized we would be spending more time on the beach than in the sanctuary so we could have been more prepared with beach toys or snorkel equipment.

They did a great job from MJ tours instructions to find them and our Guide Chelsea was excellent. She took time in taking us to the Monkey and Sloth tour, and side trip to chocolate factory then. Gave us good recommendation to have fun and not to worry about missing our Ship. West Bay beach is very nice. She even took our picture and excellent in communication, her car is comfortable and took us to nice view and places and explained to us history about Roatan. MICHELLE in MJ tours did a good job in providing us Chelsea. Roatan is a nice port area and they made sure we are safe!!Thank you Michelle and Chelsea. They can be trusted and they are safe!

Our tour guide Cary was amazing, very knowledgeable and accommodating. He drove us all over the island and told us about life. The animal sanctuary was great we had a wonderful time.

Edmundo was an excellent guide, meeting us just outside the port with cold water and a/c minibus. He was a fount of information as we drove to MJ sanctuary. Even agreed to do an extra stop at the chocolate store on the way back.
Our guide Jacob, at the sanctuary was brilliant encouraging the monkeys and, parrots to climb over us.
The sloths were amazing and there were plenty for us to see and get photos with.
Then off to West Beach, where we had great food and a relaxing time before heading back. If we had wanted to do more beach activities, like snorkelling he introduced us to a contact. Edmundo was happy to adjust the duration to meet our needs.

Had a great tour of Roatan. Our tour guide was very informative about the sites. Really enjoyed the animal sanctuary and had a great time at West Bay beach. Loved having a private tour just for our family and it was a special treat having his two daughters with us. I would strongly recommend Roatan Tour Co.

Amazing excursion! West Bay Beach was beautiful with crystal-clear water and a perfect relaxing vibe. The Monkey & Sloth Sanctuary was unforgettable, such a fun and unique experience. Our guide Susan was fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day run smoothly. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed that there were very small groups based on when you booked. We had a private transfer shared with just one other family. The animal experience was great, was not rushed through the encounters. We ended at the beach which was nice aside from all the boats with excursions. Was not private but for the time we spent it wasn’t terrible. If I wanted a full beach day I’d recommend an alternative. They were mindful
Of our all onboard time and accounted for traffic. Very friendly staff, one of the better interactions we’ve had.

Wonderful experience and our driver Mario was so helpful with my Mother who was in a wheelchair. Suggested that we go to private beach club instead of the beach that was in our tour because there would not have been any wheel access

Excellent transportation. Driver / Guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Spoke very good english and a very pleasant person
The sloth/ monkey was a little crowded and limited interaction with the sloths… The capuchin monkeys were fun.
West bay beach was nice and clean but food/deinks are very expensive
