Our experience in Roatan was absolutely incredible. Our ATV guide, Julio, made it unforgettable. My mom (58 years old) had never ridden an ATV before, and he patiently explained everything step by step, giving her the confidence she needed to enjoy the ride. He was very kind and professional throughout the entire experience. We would definitely do it again without hesitation.
I also want to highlight Dominique, our bus driver, who was exceptional. As we traveled, he explained the history and significance of the different places we passed, making us feel comfortable and welcomed from the very beginning until we arrived to meet Julio.
He also took us to see sloths — something I had never experienced before — and monkeys as well. It was such a beautiful experience that I truly enjoyed, and my 5-year-old child loved it too.
I traveled from Puerto Rico and highly recommend this experience 100%. Thank you for such a special day in Roatan!

También quiero destacar a Dominique, el chofer de la guagua, quien fue excepcional. Durante todo el trayecto nos fue explicando la historia y el significado de los lugares por donde pasábamos, haciéndonos sentir en confianza desde el inicio hasta llegar al punto de encuentro con Julio.
Además, nos llevó a ver osos perezosos — algo que nunca había tenido la oportunidad de hacer — y también monitos. Fue una experiencia hermosa que disfruté muchísimo, y mi niño de 5 años también la pasó increíble.
Viajé desde Puerto Rico y recomiendo esta experiencia al 100%. ¡Gracias por un día tan especial en Roatán!

Excellent family friendly adventure. We had easy pick up at the cruise port and a private shuttle to the ATV’s. The ride through the village was beautiful, the animal encounter was quick but very entertaining and informative. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were a family of 6 with two children ages 5 and 9. Would highly recommend this tour.

The activity is well managed. Even instructions on how to reach them on port was very detailed. Get that printed as most people just come with Viator ticket in Wallet. The ATV ride is supposed to be only 40 minutes thru the roads of the Punta Gorda town. Bus ride to this town is 45 minutes. Most ATVs are in good condition. Some did breakdown during our ride. A stop at the monkeys and sloths is just to give you more value for your high cost excursion. Overall the excursion is fun.

Overall, we had a great day. The ATV ride was fun and through a scenic area. The your was on time, the bus was comfortable, and the animal park was amazing. I wish the ATV had limited the number of participants as many in our large group. The younger drivers were racing recklessly while several older participants were terrified and driving VERY slow. It would have been more enjoyable with a smaller group.

This was great. 4 wheelers are what we always expect on these. You follow like a train so never get to really go. However seeing the villages and local people was nice. New laws don’t let you hold or touch the sloths. So site should reflect that. The birds and monkeys were fun and hilarious to interact with

From start to finish, Carlos was very attentive to taking care of our needs. The ATV ride was fantastic for us beginners and we had a blast. The Sanctuary was great too. Carlos timed it just right so that it felt like we had the place almost to ourselves.
If you are coming to Mahogany Bay Roatan Honduras, don't be afraid to book... they made sure we were always aware of ship time and they saved us lots of money on an excursion.

My family of 6 had a wonderful time with Carlos as our driver and tour guide! He went above and beyond to provide our family a memorable experience. We got to ride ATVs, visit the monkeys, sloths and birds, along with the chocolate factory. All great places that we were able to buy souvenirs from the locals at decent prices. Highly recommend this tour company and if you’re lucky, you’ll have Carlos as your tour guide as well!

This was a great time! Great for all ages. The trip to the ATVs was a bit long from where our ship came in. We were able to grab local food after and we're back in plenty of time to get back to boat and also go shopping

The ATV ride was through some rural parts and a village. Very interesting route. The Monkey and Sloth portion was a fun stop. Only complaint is the driver wanted to add extra stops and not everyone on the tour had enough time for these stops. We had to be stern with our return time.

ATVs were a bit difficult to manoeuvre but overall a good trip. Seeing the sloths, monkeys and birds was a highlight!

This was a great time!! Lots of friendly staff and amazing overall! We were able to ride through the jungle and through the city. Kids would come out of their homes and give us high fives as we went by. We had a couple stops along the way with a restroom option and a little history of the area. I was scared of the ATV at first, but once I got going, it became like second nature. Be sure to bring some cash to tip. They split it amongst 4-5 ppl.
The monkey and sloth experience after the ATVs was amazing as well. Monkeys would jump from our heads and arms, but you also have the option to stay out of their cage and just observe, if you don’t want to be touched. The sloths were super cool and out in the open on trees. There was a new law that we couldn’t hold them but we were able to get close to them - one tried to grab my glasses but thankfully he was slllloowww so I was able to stop him :)
There was also a bird cage there with large, beautiful birds but I didn’t go in. My friend and husband did but birds aren’t my thing.
Overall amazing experience!! Would definitely do it again!! And highly recommend

It was fun and interactive. We took a taxi to the other port not knowing there was a pick up at our port. We had messaged the host but didn’t get a reply until I called Viator and was told how to contact them through What’s App. Aside from that, it was a great experience.

What a great experience!
The driver picked us up from our hotel and was very sweet/friendly. She stopped on the way to let us grab some snacks/drinks for the ride.
The sloth/animal sanctuary was really cool - fun to see them in their habitat and the people that run the place were awesome; friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor.
Next was the ATV ride which was amazing. Not only are the guides extremely sweet, but they take you through the wilderness then through a beautiful beach town called Punta Gorda. Lovely people all smiling and waving as you pass through. So much culture!! We loved it and would recommend it to anyone.

We suffered a torrential storm the whole day, we couldn't do the ATV and had to go to a different animal park than advertised.
I contacted th3 tour operator to advise and seek a partial refund but no response. Poor customer service

We had to wait for approximately an hour before our tour guide picked us up. Apparently, he was picking up people from another ship or two, and there was also construction. Besides that, everything was perfect!
It’s been on my bucket list for years to be able to interact with a sloth. I was disappointed because I had thought that I would get to hold one, but apparently they did away with that option within the past few years. Even still, this was one of the best experiences of my life, and I was happy to share it with my two sons. And having monkeys jump all over us brought a joy that I didn’t realize I would feel. The entire experience was one for the books and our tour guide was awesome! We also rode ATVs through a village and it was incredible! We all decided that it was by far our favorite excursion and port from our cruise. I would highly recommend this experience. You won’t be sorry!

It definitely was not we were just expecting. Our driver was young, friendly but spoke very little We literally had to ask questions to get him to be engaged. The atv part was a bit of a disappointment. Although our guide Julinda was the sweetest and did her best to give us best atv tour.

Feet may get splashed if wet out. Monkeys are a blast make sure pockets are empty. Don't be afraid, it's worth it.

The entire experience was wonderful. Every aspect was enjoyable. The ATV staff made sure everyone was comfortable before setting out. The route was great. The 2nd part of the tour, the sloth and monkey sanctuary was equally wonderful.

Our driver Nikki was super nice and very informative about the island. The ATV ride was OK. Alot of it was driving through small towns with a little jungle in between. The guides were nice but my ATV kept malfunctioning so it was cumbersome at times. You can’t touch the sloths anymore but you can the monkeys and birds. I’m glad I booked using the app versus the ship but just wish there was a little more to the trip

The money and sloth experience was awesome! The animals were so friendly and we got great pictures. The ATV was not what I thought it was going to be. We hardly drive through the rainforest, but instead through some very small villages, where there was a lot of burning garbage. Our guides were very friendly.

Be prepared to have an awesome experience! It was a blast. Loved the ATV ride and the visit to the animal sanctuary. Our driver Cameron made the bus portion fun and pointed out the sights along the way. He rerouted us to a different animal sanctuary because he said the animals at the original park had just had their vaccines and were very sedate. We really enjoyed the whole experience. For what it’s worth, I use a cane but was able to easily take it with me on the ATV. The walk from the ship to the pickup for any non cruise line excursion is about 3/4 mile. It’s all over even terrain but there are several steps up to get out of the gate. However, upon the return the bus takes you inside the gates and the walk is much less.
