MEETING INSTRUCTIONS: Please exit this ship 30 minutes after ship doors open.(Both Ports) Coxen Hole Cruise Terminal You will meet outside your Coxen Hole Port of Roatan cruise terminal. Look for Gate No. 2 or 3, exit through the door and the operator from "ROA or Roatan Getaway Tours" will be OUTSIDE your Roatan cruise terminal in the meeting area holding a sign with their name ROA or Roatan Getaway Tours. Mahogany Bay Cruise Terminal You will meet outside your Mahogany Bay cruise terminal. Please walk past the shopping area then outside the cruise terminal then turn left to the concrete hill, exit the guard post and walk down the hill. your guide from "ROA or Roatan Getaway Tours" will be waiting for you. They would be holding a sign with their name ROA or Roatan Getaway Tours.

Absolutely fantastic in everything! They were waiting to pick us up even though we were a little early and drove us to where our kayaking and snorkeling was to start. The driver was extremely friendly and shared information about the island, her family and the history of the area. The your company is owned and run by her large extended family. Everyone treated us like royalty and went out of their way to help us. We were four seniors and the guide was very patient, helpful and insightful on our kayak trip around the area. The water was calm and easy. When it was time to snorkel, we returned to the dock and boarded a larger boat. Again everyone went out of their way to be helpful! The water had gotten a bit choppy so two of us stayed on the boat and the tour guide shared wonderful stories of the area.
I highly recommend going with this tour company…5 stars plus!!

From the get go the tour was organized. Jacob took care of the group. He knew which tour each group was on and ran the beginning of the experience with care. Once we got to the harbour, everyone was divided by excursion. We went kayaking with Omarion. Omarion was a lovely quiet 17 year old. So polite and explained everything we were doing and saw. When we were done kayaking, we were fitting with fins and joined the next snorkeling group on the boat where Philip took us on a lovely reef snorkel, showing us different fish, urchin, conch. The water was clear and the most beautiful aquamarine. After the snorkel, we went back to the dock. Jacob was there and ready to receive us. He had the van air conditioning ready to go. One the drive back to the ship he was so kind and friendly. Taught our 21 yr old son the ins and outs of driving a manual van. We had such a good time. Each person we interacted with made us feel like their familia! Highly recommend booking this excursion!

We had such an incredible experience on this tour! The kayaking through the mangroves was absolutely unforgettable. Gliding through the calm waters, surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of nature, felt like stepping into another world.
One of the highlights was seeing the small shipyard and the boats from the water as we paddled by. It was fascinating to take in the ships from a distance while still being immersed in the quiet, natural surroundings.
If you’re considering this tour, I highly recommend the kayaking — it was the perfect mix of adventure and tranquility. I would absolutely do it again!

We did the kayak and the snorkel and both were incredible. The views were amazing. It was a very intimate setting which I prefer. Way better than booking through the actual cruise line itself. They even dropped us off at a private beach for an hour afterwards to swim and get drinks. Highly recommend!

Jake was our driver and tour guide. He went above and beyond to make our day amazing. The kayaking and snorkeling was beyond cool. Our trip back to the cruise terminal ended up being our favorite part. Jake took us to the sloth sanctuary. We also stopped to get conch from the best place in town....the local gas station on steroids. Right up my southern lady alley! What a great day. Thank you Jake!

Easy directions for pick up from port. Our driver/guide, Jacob was thoughtful, knowledgeable, personable and patient, particularly with our poor attempt at paddling the kayak.
The two guys escorting us for the snorkelling were less professional. We both felt deserted by the guide in the water who simply swam off. Honestly, if one of us had drowned, I’m not sure he would have noticed. The reef is grey and lifeless.
Enjoyed half of the excursion.

Hi Robert, we appreciate everyone's feedback. We will look into this a bit. As the reason we have 2 guides is because one leads the tour and the other one is down to the back of all the group. According to there feedback you where not following instructions which was to follow the group at the same pase. As you can see our other reviews are 5 star for this activity so may have been something to do with not following instructions. But again we will look into the farther. As for the colors of the reef the mesoamerican barrier reef has it's dominant colors especially on shallower water which is gray, brown, purple and some blue and yellow.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. Our kayaking was great. It was just our family and the guide. Snorkeling was very choppy but we had a great time seeing the beautiful fish.

We had a kayak and snorkeling trip on Christmas. Our tour guide was Jacob (aka Jake from State Farm). We can't say enough about the experience. He and his team were super attentive in the days leading up to our trip. He told us all about the island and shared so much. The kayaking was beautiful. The snorkeling was great for experienced people - not great for first timers but that was mainly due to a sudden downpour of rain at the last minute that made the water choppy. We would 100 percent arrange a trip again with this group and highly recommend.

We loved this excursion with Uiel and Jayden. The reef was stunning and I loved how they were willing to adjust the excursion to fit our wants. We wanted to snorkel for as long as possible, so we didn’t kayak through the mangroves. I am sure that would have been amazing too but our time was limited because we had to be back at the cruise ship. We loved this excursion so much that we want to visit Roatan again and have this company take us on more adventures. Brandon picked us up at the cruise port (everything went smoothly). We were running late because the cruise ship lets out people on their excursions first. No worries though, they waited for us and totally understood how the cruise ship work. They planned for traffic and had us back in time. This is definitely the company to work with. They all seemed to love their job and care for one another.

Yiel was AMAZING!! I didn’t think it was possible to have a better experience than Belize . The reef was breathtaking . I can say I haven’t experienced anything better so far . We kayaked the ocean and stopped a few times as Yiel gave a bit of history . The shipwreck and the divers below was cool to see . There were so many different colorful fish that we hadn’t seen at the snorkel site at our hotel . Truly an amazing excursion. We will be back .

This was amazing! Me and my wife were the only two on the kayak tour, which was awesome. Garret took us around the shore and little islands and the mangrove trees. He knew all the different birds and pointed out jellyfish in the water below us. He had water bottles for us too. He was really fun to talk to too! We kayaked over to the snorkeling spot and he prepped the gear for us and then acted as our tour guide through the reef. He knew all the different kinds of fish and coral, which was awesome! He is an excellent tour guide!! We would 100% do this again. Everyone at Roatan Ocean Adventures was really nice!

This was the best way to tour Roatan. Yoel was fantastic! He picked us up from and dropped us off back at our hotel, gave us some fantastic recommendations on what to do on the island and all around was a wonderful tour guide. He brought us through the mangroves and led us snorkeling around the reefs. We went as three friends for vacation and had an unforgettable adventure. We saw a manta ray, a shipwreck, and stunning fish and reef wildlife. Everything was perfect.

Exceptional tour! We were notified ahead of time about the cancellation of snorkelling and offered us alternative options for the day tour. They are very flexible in organizing the tour that later they brought us to snorkelling when it was safe to do

Breathtakingly beautiful. Seriously amazing. Kayaking was a bit more intense than we anticipated but that was likely more of an us situation than them. Snorkeling was great. Small enough group. My only piece of advice is that a few more directions re how the day was going to go would have been helpful. For example, knowing we were going to kayak in the ocean would have made it easier. But completely worth the effort. I would 100% go again.

A very pleasant, safe wall snorkel on Roatan. Alot of coral from Brain, Plate, Tree to Fan, just gorgeous. Hadn't snorkeled in twenty years but the crew made it it very safe. It was my favorite of the entire week.

This tour operator is amazing. It was easy to contact then and arrange for pick up. We had to adjust our tour due to weather, but had an amazing time boating around learning about the local area and its history. The owner did give us options for snorkelling, but we decided a tour was a better option for our group.
I wouldn't hesitate booking with this company at all, and we will definitely go out with them again the next time we are back on Roatan.

I have had other trips to Roatan with good excursions. This was the best ever. The kayaking was more than just that. Our Guide Ural stopped along the way to show us iguanas in the wild and explain the different ones. He talked about the large fish that live in these waters, the importance of mangroves and many other ecology interests. The snorkeling also the best. We could easily drift snorkel with stops to show us special creatures and formations. More variety of fish than in previous trips. So worth every penny.

Absolutely a fantastic excursion. The company was responsive, easy to find and punctual. Our tour guide was friendly, informative and made the three hours a breeze. We enjoyed the three hours so much, from the mangroves to the turtle we saw as well as the stingray we spotted to.
We would love to return and would book again tomorrow if we could.

We really enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling with our guide, Derrin (Darin?). Not only do you get to snorkel in one of the most beautiful parts of the Carribbean, you get to be surrounded by locals that obviously love their job. Everyone that worked for ROA seemed happy and seemed to truly care to help you have a good time. If you’re looking for something that isn’t too commercial, and offers tours from incredible locals, this is what you’re looking for! The 4 of us had an outstanding private tour with this company. Justin, our guide, was the best! Personal, informative and entertaining - couldn’t have asked for a better day. We were traveling with 2 novice snorkelers, and they were amazed at what they saw - the water was crystal clear and Justin free dove down to point out all the wonderful sea life amongst the coral. The equipment worked perfectly. I highly recommend this excursion. When we come back, we will for sure scuba dive with this company.

Amazing experience!. French Caye is beautiful and the coral reef is spectacular! Everything ran smoothly. We were picked up and dropped off and Herbert and his wife went out of their way to show us French Harbour on the way back. We took kayaks to the reef, lead by Preston, who was a great guide and we felt completely safe in his presence. The reef is truly awesome and a must see when in Roatán!

Great guide. Excellent snorkeling. Kayaking was good. Wished we could have spent more time snorkeling (a little less kayaking).
The fish and coral were beautiful and the water so clear.
Wanted a t-shirt but they didn’t have most sizes.
