Mangrove must see
The tour guide was a amazing (five stars for Mario) he was so well known and liked by the people we interacted with during the tour. Our mangrove experience was top notch they are such a marvel to see; we even had time to take a swim and the water was amazing. Our trip to Punta Gorda was a little disappointing because we didn't get to see the history and traditional culture of the Garifuna people but did get to eat traditional food which was tasty.

Traditional, Cultural Experience in Roatan
We had Glen for our tour guide to drive us to the village and ATV location. He was phenomenal. He taught us so much of the history and "off the beaten path" type tour. He is extremely knowledgeable and great personality. This is exactly what we wanted to see and experience the culture and traditions of those that have been in Roatan since late 1700's to now. Many traditions continue with families. I would recommend this tour over and over again.
Once we got to the ATV park - it was a blast! The entire crew there was so kind and helpful. We had so much fun. The staff exceed our expectations. Absolutely wonderful!

Amazing snorkeling!
I highly recommend booking this excursion! I did the Mangrove + Snorkeling option. Pick up and drop off was provided. Our driver/guide Patrice was AMAZING! He answered all of our questions, even stopped for us to get breakfast since we didn’t have time for eat. We had a great boat driver as well, Robert. Overall great experience! 10/10

Best East End Tour
I had such a great experience with this tour from start to finish. Dani, the tour owner, was amazing to work with before I even arrived in Roatán. He answered all of my questions, gave really thorough responses, and made the booking process simple. Communication was smooth the whole time and I felt completely taken care of.
Once on the island, my guide Mario made the day unforgettable. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about Roatán and its people. He shared great stories and history during our visits to Oak Ridge, the mangroves, and Punta Gorda. He also made a few extra stops so I could take the best pictures. The information he shared stuck with me and I have been referencing it throughout my trip.
Overall I had a wonderful time. Dani’s organization and Mario’s expertise made this tour one of the highlights of my visit to Honduras and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the East End.

An unforgettable experience
I appreciate the time and effort from this tour company to make sure we had a great time which we did!!!!! This was my first time on a Dune Buggy and our guides Ariel and Juan were patient, professional and so kind! We didn’t get to see the Garífuna dancers on the day we booked the tour because it was a holiday but Oscar, who picked us up from our hotel, quickly advocated on our behalf to get a makeup tour. Even though we didn’t get to see the dancers, Ariel took us to a local restaurant to enjoy pescado frito y plátanos….delicioso!!!!!!!
Oscar was friendly and he didn’t feel like a tour guide, it felt like he was family. He took us to a local vendor to get ‘corn rice’ which is a Honduran pastry (snack) and Oscar’s favourite….which was so good!!!!!
Our makeup tour was equally amazing and we got to experience a little of the Garífuna culture (including machuca, gifiti and a coconut pastry which I forgot the name). This was our first time on the island and we are so humbled by the kindness of the people and we learned so much from our conversations with the locals.
Thank you Oscar, Ariel, Juan and Joel for making this experience so wonderful!!!

What an adventure!
Seeing the East End of the island was great. It's much different from the West End where we were staying. Our guide, Mario, picked us up at our hotel and drove us to the East End where we took a local boat out first to snorkel at Port Royal, and then, from there, we rode over to the Mangroves and did another snorkel there. The Mangroves were really something to see and the snorkeling at Port Royal was pretty amazing—all kinds of different corals and reef fish. Mario was wonderful, encouraging, humorous, and knowledgeable about the area.

When to visit

- Beachgoers can head to one of the neighborhood's beaches: Playa de los Ingleses, Playa Verde, or Playa La Mulata.
- Art fans should check out the sculpture in Plaza Virgilio, which was created in 1957 by sculptor Eduardo Yepes Diaz.
- Wear comfy shoes—you'll want to explore on foot here as you stroll the Rambla.
Looks like we don't have any Punta Gorda tours or tickets. Try one of these other top landmarks.
