For LOCAL GUESTS: Guests staying on the island, we will pick you up and return you to your lodging accommodations. Be sure to provide us with the NAME and LOCATION (or Airbnb or VRBO listing website address) of where you're staying! If you have a preferred start-time, include that information, as well. For AIRPORT GUESTS: We will pick you up outside of luggage claim. Be sure to provide us with your AIRLINE and FLIGHT NUMBER. Please look for your name on our guide's sign. For CRUISE SHIP GUESTS: Our tours depart ONE HOUR after your ship arrives to port! Check-in for your tour at the Tour Assembly Location (shown below) at least 15 minutes prior to departure! Easy Tour Departure Formula: Ship's Arrival Time + 1 Hour = Tour Departure Time [or EARLIER, if you like!] Check-In EARLY...and you won't be LATE! COXEN HOLE/PORT of ROATAN (Royal Caribbean, NCL, MSC, Celebrity, Virgin Voyages, Oceania, etc): As you exit your ship, look for our Kiosk in the Independent Tours area past the Taxis. You'll see our company name signs and uniformed employees at Kiosk #1 at the port's Independent Tours area. One of our representatives will greet you at the kiosk, locate your name on our list and introduce you to your guide for the day. Assembly Area: •Exit Ship to the Shopping Plaza stores •Take a Right at The Monkey Bar https://roatantour.com/images/VBTatPOR.jpg •Follow the Scenic Pathway to Kiosk #1, beyond the taxi stand •Kiosk #1 is the 1st Tour Kiosk on the Left, past the taxi stand •Check for VICTOR BODDEN TOURS Signs, Shirts & ID's •Check-In for your Tour ISLA TROPICALE CRUISE CENTER (Carnival, Princess, HAL, AIDA, P&O, Marella, etc.): As you exit your ship, customers on Local Independent Tours will be required by Carnival Corporation to exit their dock area through the gates and walk on the sidewalk over the hill to the main road. Once outside the gates and over the hill, look for our representatives holding our Company Name signs. One of our representatives will greet you, locate your name on our list and introduce you to your guide for the day. At the end of your tour day, we are able to drop you off to the entrance of the dock...so you will only have to do this long walk one-way, when you first arrive. 5 older adults, first time in Roatan, returned to our ship with great memories of this beautiful island. I highly recommend Jerry, our driver/guide, who felt like family from the get-go. In addition to driving around the island to see all the scenic water views, we visited the Rum Factory and the Sloth and Monkey. Don't miss either of those when you visit Roatan! And be sure to ask for Jerry!

Good tour with Norma today, lovely island and with 4 cruise ships in quite busy at times. We much preferred West End, there was more to see and do and the beach was quiet. We personally found west bay to be too loud, crowded and snorkling poor in comparison.

Booking was easy. Met up with company just outside the cruise terminal and had Said as our driver. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Took us to do all the things that we wanted to do and got us back to the cruise terminal by the time requested. Well worth it and would recommend this company and this driver!

We truly enjoyed getting a driver to show us the full island. Our driver was educated and took us wherever we wanted to go. We saw the sloths, monkeys, and parrots. We had an amazing chocolate tour and a really tasty lunch. The jumbo shrimps were delicious and the view of the water was Wow! The food took some time to get done but we did have a party of 8.

This was definitely a highlight of our trip! Our personal driver Kenny M. was amazing!!! We were able to see all of the stops we wanted and learned so much about the island and culture from Kenny. Everything was well organized and we had the freedom to go to the places we were interested in, and even a few more that our driver recommended.

We were picked up by a local guy who was a bit grumpy. We were not asked where/what our options were. We were taken to the zip line/monkey/sloth place which was kinda fun. The local man,Irwin, leading the monkey/sloth tour was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Then we got back in the van and dropped off at our hotel. The total time was 2 hours. Overall, it was not customizable as we were not a

We were not impressed with the tour. The driver pretty much took us to the beach coub, waited for us there and then drove us through the island, mentioning a few things here and there, back to the cruise ship. It was pretty much an expensive taxi ride. We told him we wanted to tour the island first, then go to the beach, he ignored our request and took us straight to the beach club. Since this is a customizable tour, we expected t9 discuss the itinerary before heading out, he didn't give us options to consider. He didn't share any historical facts either. I would not recommend this tour.

Make sure you go through kiosk lane at the port to find your tour guide. Once you leave the port, it'll be crazy.

Kenya did her best to show us as much of the island as we wanted to see and more. She was friendly and helpful and arranged a ride to the airport with a colleague the next day. We loved being able to customize our tour.

We spent the day with our driver and guide, Big Al. He's a great driver and an excellent tour guide. In addition, he possesses a phenomenal sense of humor and we all spent the day laughing and swapping stories. His knows a huge amount about the island, the residents, the culture, the food and so much more. We asked for a tour representative of island life, not tourist spots and he delivered. We saw so many areas throughout our tour, and his driving skills were great considering the rain and lousy weather we encountered that day. He took us to a local restaurant where we enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and the staff. Everyone went out of their way to help us and extend hospitality. When we return to Roatan, we will definitely request Big Al again, as we thoroughly enjoyed his company and knowledge.
We were a group of five adults, all family members, and we arrived via cruise ship. Everything about the tour went smoothly and easily. I highly recommend this company and ask for Big Al if you're looking for fun along with great driving skills.

We had a good day and our driver, Les, was nice enough. But, he was completely uninformed regarding what we were doing and we were 30 minutes late for our first activity. His vehicle was in poor condition. It looked like the frame was falling off on the passenger side. His guide experience was less than average. We wanted someone that could show us the Roatan culture and he primarily showed us the tourist areas only. We felt like we could have just hired an Uber driver to the 2 locations we went and gotten more info about the culture

We booked this tour, but were never able to locate our tour guide, not sure if this was due to company overbooking due to so many cruiseships in port or because meetup point being outside the cruise port with many other travelers looking for their guides. Very disappointed since we had paid in advance. Requested refund of our money, so far being denied. Will not pay in advance again, or use Viator if we don’t get this figured out.

Highly recommend for a stress free visit. Tex, our driver was great. Listened to what we wanted to do and managed to fit it all in without it feeling rushed. When our family decided on two different activities at the same time he took half to zip line and the other half to the chocolate factory. The van was air conditioned and spacious for our family of 6. My family commented that me hiring a driver for the day was the best decision I could have made and 2 of my kids said visiting Roatan was the highlight of their trip. I give most credit to Tex for making our day incredibly memorable.

This was a much cheaper option than what the cruise line offered. This was, we are only paying for transportation, and then can pick and choose what we want! Norma was our guide and she is THE BEST!! She was born and raised here and knew all the locals. Because of this, she took us to all the best places. Made sure we didn’t waste money on things, carried our bags, and took us to the best spots. We loved her so much we made her hang with us. We did the sloth and monkeys, went shopping, and then went to west bay beach. We had a good time at bananaramas, since it was cloudy and cool outside. We want to come back when the weather is better!!

Loved this experience, even though it rained most of the day. We were asked ahead of time what excursions we would like to do and it was confirmed when we arrived. Kelvin was our driver and he was excellent. He gave us a lot of information about the island as he drove us to our stops. We loved that it was a private tour for just the 4 of us.
We went to the iguana sanctuary first. The iguanas were mostly hiding due to the rain and cool temps, but there still enough to see. We held baby iguanas and fed fish while touring other animal exhibits.
Next we went to the ATV, zipline, monkey/sloth sanctuary. This was the best part of our excursion. We did everything despite the rain. In fact, it made the ATV ride so much more fun!
I would recommend this private tour to anyone.

We had a great tour of Roatan with our guide and driver Marlene. She took us to the zip lines, sloth/money/bird reserve and the chocolate factory. We had a great time and she was a lot of fun too! Got back to our ship right on time. Highly recommend the tour and especially Marlene!!!

This is a great private tour. Good communication leading up to the tour. From our initial encounter in Roatan all of the tour guides were friendly and engaging. George was our guide and provided insight into the island’s history, current status, upcoming changes, facts about the economy, etc. George answered all of our questions and gave great insight on best places to eat. This was a relaxing, enjoyable tour that suited our requests. Great tour company to book with when in Roatan.

Kenia was our private driver and guide for our tour. She was extremely knowledgeable of Roatan and very careful driver. She assisted getting us in and out of the car.
Very pleased with her providing great info about Honduras and Roatan in particular.
