Great tour

Gail_N, Mar 2026
Frodie was a great tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the info he provided. Because he is a local he was knowledgeable. Private tour much better than a bus load!

Roatan Houndaras

Joshua_V, Jan 2025
Traffic was seriously congested where we were supposed to meet our tour guide. The owner himself came, met us in his personal truck to take us to our 1st destination so we would not be behind on schedule, from there it was very nice arrangements. Overall I would recommend this company for all your shore excursion needs.

Amazing views and excellent service

YAN_Z, Dec 2024
Amazing views and excellent service. Our driver was super friendly and worked hard to ensure we enjoyed all the activities. We went to the park, enjoyed the beach, and even went on the glass boat tour (boat tickets were not included in the tour price). The driver also stopped at several viewpoints to allow us to take pictures. Just let the driver know if you want to add activities or go to different places. My family and I had a great time at Roatan.

Exploring at its best

Great tour guide! He was flexible and offered to take us anywhere. Saw the Park and animals, very interesting!! Went for an interesting horse back ride, guide made it fun! Stopped at the rum and chocolate factories!

Beautiful Park but fell a little short

KENNETH_S, Dec 2023
The PROS: Our Driver, Paul, started out a little quiet, but warmed up and answered questioned as we asked. He was very knowledgable of the area, and as a lifelong resident, he had many personal stories to share. My wife and I dont drink so we passed on the Rum tasting. He gave us a great tour of the Island and even made a stop at a local grocery and few stores at our request. He accomodated us and really made our tour personalized. The Park was beautiful and the animals we saw were great. Loved the chance to have Parrots and monkeys on us. The CONS: Honestly, I did feel a little rushed at the Animal sanctuary, our young guide was very nice, but we always felt a bit rushed. I was disappointed that the bug display was only dead bugs, was hoping to see live insects in display. I was looking forward, as I saw in a picture, the chance to hold a sloth. Didnt see any. We were never directed towards a pool area or food. Just pointed towards the gift shop and corralled to the golfcart and driven back to our van/driver. I noticed a snack bar of sorts, but all I saw were over priced sodas, drinks and chips and maybe hotdogs. Nothing too inviting. Finally. in the title, it says "Preservation Park & Horseback Ride", we never had a horse ride of anykind, nor even saw any horses. When I asked our guide about the horse ride, he was surprised. He was unaware of any horserides. we dropped it and heading back to port Overall we enjoyed the experience, great driver, nice guide, pretty clean park, well trained monkeies and Parrots, but we were left wanting more for the price, particularly a sloth (famous in Roatan) and a horseride.

Gmbalimba preserve — Roatan

Shailesh_S, Mar 2023
Ron our driver made this tour more memorable, he was patient, a good listener ensuring that he helped deliver our likes and make small modifications if needed and avoid dislikes. The park provided a good educational tour along with some fun time monkeys, macaw’s.

Good not great

Michael_H, Feb 2023
Erik was our guide and he was very nice. Had to walk a little way from port entrance on very muddy streets and uneven surfaces to get to side of road where we waited about 10 minutes for Erik to go get his car. The rum tasting was good and we bought some but would be fine if we didn’t go there. Gumbalimba park was good with the monkey and bird part but the insectarium is just displays with preserved or fake bugs. And the cave is not original. We did not go to the beach at Gumbalimba, Erik took us to one just down the road because he said there would be no sellers hounding us to buy stuff on the beach. The beach was nice but seating was like sardines and the sellers were all over everyone! The food and drinks at the beach bar were good.

Marvin was a great tour...

Melissa_B, Nov 2022
Marvin was a great tour guide! We had to cut our day short…but he was accommodating and helpful! The extra stop at the overlook was a nice bonus.

Family Friendly and so much Fun

dgwiazda, Feb 2020
We had a wonderful day with our driver Steven. He made the excursion fit our needs and made my family feel safe and welcome in Honduras. I wish I would have brought extra cash to tip all of the trainers and guide at Gumbalimba. We also got to add on a short snorkeling adventure too!

Awesome Experience

Fantastic Tour!

Tina P, Jul 2019
We were a party of 4 women that came off a cruise ship at Roatan. After weaving our way through the crowd, we found our tour guide and was greeted with a big smile. The truck was super clean and air conditioned which was great as it was very hot. We can’t say enough of our guide who was so polite and made sure we felt comfortable. He also took us on a tour of the island and we visited the chocolate and rum factory. Our tour guide gave us cold water which was nice. The nature reserve was so much fun and the monkeys would jump on you- got some funny pictures. They also had parrots that you can take pictures too. Beach was great. Highly recommend this tour for families or couples. Once we booked we received a e-mail with detailed instructions. Thank you for introducing us to Roatan. 5 stars to our tour guide!!!
