This was an amazing trip. Pickup was convenient and very prompt. They followed up with multiple messages regarding pickup, schedule, what to expect, what to bring and more. We had requested a special meal and they made sure to fulfill that with a very delicious sandwich. The ride up to the location was scenic with our tour guide Shoyo giving us quite a bit of inside information of the landscape and the culture of the place. He made sure we stopped at a certain altitude to ensure we were all comfortable once we got to the summit. He provided warm jackets, pants and gloves as it did get very cold up there. Our luck it was a beautiful clear day for the sunset and it was amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer (but there is only that long the sunset lasts). We saw several telescopes and some of them were opening up for the night research and it was great to get a peek inside. Shoyo took pictures for all of us with the sunset scenes. RIght after the sunset, we came down to a lower level of the mount and watched the stars. that was an awesome experience. we got to see several stars with explanation about them and ties to the Polynesian names/connections to some of the constellations. The highlight was the pictures of us with the milky way in the background. we will treasure that always. We recommend this tour for anyone who has in interest in sunsets or stars and astronomy. Loved it!!!

Eric, our driver, was incredibly knowledgeable. He provided us with some fascinating history before our hike and arrived promptly to pick us up. The hike itself wasn’t particularly challenging, and the view was breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and still had ample time to explore other activities afterward.

We had such an amazing time on the Ohana Ranch UTV excursion! My husband and I had so much fun exploring the ranch and taking in the beautiful scenery. Kalani was an incredible tour guide…friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience so much more special. We especially loved learning about Hawaiian culture, traditions, and the history of the land. It felt like so much more than just a UTV ride…it was a really meaningful and memorable experience. We had an absolute blast and would definitely recommend Ohana Ranch to anyone visiting Hawaii! Mahalo, Kalani, for making our day so unforgettable!
