What a great itinerary and a great tour! Our tour guide Neiomi and our driver Rahim both did a great job. The local guide in Siena (Michele) was also very knowledgeable and did a great job with the local tour. The food at our lunch place was amazing and plenty for everyone. The wine, the cheese, the olive oil, and the honey were all local and very tasty. I’m glad that we did the bus tour as opposed to traveling Siena, San Gimignano, and Pisa on our own. The bus ride with A/C in between the sites was much appreciated after long walks in hot weather and gave us the opportunity to cool down while learning about our next stop. You could also leave your belongings in the bus, which helps to not carry your souvenirs with you in the heat all day. I highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic service and tours. Athens Walks team was organized and efficient with check-in, and I appreciated the headsets we had so that we didn't have to strain to hear and the guides were also correspondingly protected from having to yell. Afroditi was my guide and she was fantastic, very knowledgeable and well-spoken. I ended up adding on the museum tour, which I highly recommend.

Great tour with Gemma

We enjoyed our tour with Gemma at Tours for Today, she was fantastic. It was easy getting to the meetup spot, getting in with no line and the tour was the perfect amount of time. We were able to explore on our own afterward. We had two teenagers with us and they enjoyed it too, and they are the world’s toughest critics. The headphones were critical and much appreciated. We were glad we took an early tour before it got too hot because a lot of the tour focuses on the intricate exterior. Thanks so much, Gemma!

Excellent tour through a very busy place

The most important thing to understand about the Vatican tour is that 10s of thousands of people go through the Vatican every day. As such, it's crowded, it's hard to hear even with the earpeace, and you aren't going to see everything. But no tour can solve that. Putting that general situation aside, the tour guide was very good and thorough, giving lots of context, stories, and background for all of the areas we walked through and huge numbers of paintings, sculptures, and other art and features that we saw. She managed the 20 or so people in our group well and ensured that everyone had a chance to see and take in everything. We saw all the major sites, and when we were done, we knew where to go. Great tour, thank you very much!

Hiatham was one of the best tour guides we had out of our three tours we took in different cities in Italy. He provided a lot of interesting information along the way and had a great personality that kept the group engaged and smiling. It was 90 degrees F the day we went and he did his best to get us to shady spots and was very considerate of an older guest on the tour who had a hard time with the heat. I would highly recommend Hiatham as a guide to anyone visiting Rome.

Our tour guide was very kind and informative. She was good at making sure everyone stuck together and was keeping up, as it was a very fast paced tour with so much to see. She also let us know to keep up to ensure we didn’t miss out on St. Peter’s Basilica since we had a late afternoon tour and it would be closing soon. She was very detailed and efficient at her job!

Definitely worth getting a tour guide for a small group experience

So glad we had a guide to explain everything and take us through the museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica. It would have been very confusing without a guide. It was nice being able to go through certain pathways only available to groups with your guides. It felt like it all went very smoothly. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful.

Expensive but excellent

I know, this is not a cheap option but you do get what you pay for. The tour ran like a Swiss timepiece, but we were not rushed. Our tour guide was very informative and pointed out things I had never noticed before on my previous visits. Don’t skip the air conditioned museum at the end of the tour. It was incredibly informative and made me go back inside to see some things.
