An absolute must

This tour was exactly what we needed for this area. It was so smooth and easy to get to all of the locations. Our tour guide Heather was right on time. She was warm and kept things moving along with a sense of purpose and humor. Heather provided running commentary in between stops and good insight on how to explore our stops once we arrived. She was a very careful driver and followed all rules of the road. We felt comfortable and well taken care of.... Families and couples were very compatible and respectful of each other. Easy way to see the lakes with 1.5 hours at each!

The explorer bus is a great convenient way to see the lakes without worrying about bus schedules and waiting in line to catch one. Our driver Red was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The one thing to remember is you get 1.5 hours at each lake: this is perfect for a short hike up to lookout points and lots of photo ops, but if you want to take an extended hike or simply more time to enjoy, this one is not for you.

Great trip

Great last second booking. Booked the morning of. Driver (name started with an S) was really good. There was a couple that made us delayed 3 different times. Overall delay was an hour combined. They need to be more strict with people or be willing to leave them behind. Bring cash for tips too as driver didn’t have digital methods to tip.

8 iconic hours with Kieran at the 8 iconic Banff stops

Kieran was a fantastic guide. He gave a tremendous historical background of the area and its peoples. He knew what order of stops to take to avoid the crowds and waiting. He always had suggestions about where to go and what to look out for. We had wonderful time seeing the 8 different stops. Highly reccomend this trip since we could sit back in comfort and not hassle with parking and the Mercedes van was very comfortable and roomy. It was a top notch tour that worked well for all ages.

Fantastic trip

The Rocky Mountain tour with our guide, Steve, was fantastic! He pointed out beautiful viewpoints along the way and shared the interesting stories behind them in a really engaging way. The amount of time we spent at each stop was perfect. When my phone battery was running low, he kindly lent me a cable and even plugged it in for me, showing me where the hidden ports were on the bus. His consistently positive and friendly attitude made the whole experience so enjoyable, despite the unpredictable weather. Thank you so much, Steve!

A wonderful day out exploring the most beautiful scenery

A full day of amazing sightseeing. 5 different lakes visited, all stunning and because we were a tour there were no delays with parking. Plenty of time allowed at each stop and our guide was very attentive explaining everything we needed to know. He also came with us to certain areas and was happy to take pics. Spectacular scenery

Breathtaking views, well organized, and a lovely experience overall. We got some excellent coffee at the top and we walked the boardwalk all the way to the observatory. The boardwalk steps were not too challenging, even though we increase our elevation. It didn’t feel strenuous. Definitely worth the effort to go all the way to the top.

Fantastic day out

We had a brilliant day. Aashish our driver was fun freindly and very knowledgeable. He got us joining in and laughing and there was a really good atmosphere within the group. Majestic!

This trip was perfect for getting to experience this area of the Rockies. The view is exactly as shown on the website. Scott our tour guide was very knowledgeable. I like the fact that he provided walkie talkies to stay in contact with him. Dressing in layers would be a good idea and comfortable walking shoes are essential. Getting to see Lake Moraine from the top is spectacular but somewhat challenging if someone has mobility issues. I definitely would recommend this tour.

Highly recommend!

Easy drive from Banff. Wonderful, spectacular views. Loved the Minnewanka moment of silence. Tho would have like a bit more. We were lucky enough to hear a loon! Saw an eagle bur no other wildlife. Stopped at Two Jack and Johnson lakes driving back to banff. Matt and Vik did a great job. Thanks to Vik for suggesting sunshine gondola! We loved it.
