Top Banff Day Trips

Had a great time, Brooke was very knowledgeable, warm and had a good sense of humour. She gave good suggestions for how to beat the crowd at Lake Louise and recommended the rockpile at Moraine Lake, which gave great views. I wouldn’t rely on seeing Downtown Banff only on this tour, as the hour only really covers eating, but if you have time to return another day like I did, that’s completely fine and the timings are all laid out in advance. It was good to see the waterfall as I wouldn’t have known it was there. Would recommend as a solo traveller!

Our guide Aiden was PHENOMENAL… informative, super bright and just confident in what he knows and does! Our fave guide of our time in Banff!! The experience was a bit more adventurous than we expected- you will be walking in the pitch dark for a few miles on a trail in the woods which we never would have attempted on our own! With that said… the star gazing was AMAZING!!! We even saw the Northern lights!!! Such a pleasant surprise and would def recommend this excursion!!!

It was an extremely good trip focusing on some beautiful sights in Banff. Our guide Gabi was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and gave us lots of interesting facts along with funny anecdotes that made the trip very enjoyable! We did see sheep and Elk but sadly no bear!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An exceptional experience with Ken Ken! We had an absolutely wonderful experience visiting Lake Louise and Moraine Lake with Rockies Journey, and so much of that was thanks to our incredible guide, Ken Ken. From the very beginning, Ken Ken was attentive to our family’s needs, kind, patient, and genuinely enjoyable to be around. He made us feel so comfortable that it honestly felt like we were spending the day with a friend rather than simply following a tour guide. He went out of his way to help us, took beautiful family photos for us, and made sure we could truly enjoy every moment. Our children absolutely loved spending the day with him! As parents of a child with additional needs, one thing meant especially much to us: Ken Ken welcomed our family exactly as we are. He was understanding, flexible and inclusive, and never once made us feel that our child’s differences or needs were an inconvenience. That kindness and acceptance made the experience so much more relaxing and special for our entire family. Thank you, Ken Ken, for your help, your patience, your wonderful sense of humour and positive energy, and especially for making us all feel so welcome and included. You helped make our visit to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake one of the highlights of our trip to Western Canada. We will remember this day for a very long time. The trip was absolutely wonderful - everything was perfectly organized from pickup to return. There was plenty of free time to enjoy all the beauty! Special thanks to our guide Kamal, who provided all the necessary information without overwhelming us.

Even with a smoky haze we had a wonderful trip on the Lake Minnewanka cruise! Both our tour guide and our captain (both Madeleines) were fantastic and made the morning very enjoyable! We learned a lot and the ride was nice and smooth. We got to see a bald eagle and other wildlife back on the shore as well! Would recommend for all ages if you're looking for something a little different outside of hikes and bus tours!

Wonderful experience ! Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are places you can’t afford to miss when visiting Banff National Park. Our guide Red of Banff Explorer has been a wonderful host and a really knowledgeable entertainer throughout the day. Kudos to him !
