This tour was recommended to us by a friend. It was a little out of our comfort zone but Allie was an informative, fun, and patient. Looking back at the rock face afterwards we were amazed at what we accomplished! Allie made it low stress and fun!! It was an excursion we will never forget!!

Ridge Walker

Anne_D, Aug 2026
We booked the Ridge Walker tour which is about 4hrs. Our guide Luc was just great! Throughout the climbing, he provided tips to help with the climb and fun facts about the mountain and its surroundings. He was encouraging us all the way! Found this via ferrata to be more roch climbing than I expected yet still quite fun! The view from the top is amazing on a clear day. Start with layers and keep your backpack light.

Best Via Ferrata!

This was our third time doing a Via Ferrata and our favorite! I am afraid of heights but love pushing myself outside my comfort zone! Our guide, Ben, was fun and helpful along the way. Sign up for this amazing experience when you’re in Banff!

Via Ferrata

Easily my favorite activity from our trip! Even my fiance, who is afraid of heights, had an amazing time. Everyone at Norquay was friendly and helpful. Our guide Ben was the best. He made sure everyone was safe and made the whole experience fun. He even made sure to get a few action shots for everyone. The views at the top of the mountain are stunning. I also appreciated that they had boot rentals included for anyone that needed them. While we didn’t get a chance to eat at the Cliffhouse Bistro, since you finish right next to it I’d recommend stopping for food after. Overall, the entire experience was incredible! If you are in the fence about doing it, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Upgrade to the skyline. Longer and even more challenges!

What a fabulous experience. High on the mountains challenging oneself. Guides were very professional and really helping you get through any challenging sections. We did the skyline. Definitely worth the upgrade!

Climbing with Greg

Kourtney_C, Aug 2025
I took my dad for his 70th birthday and it was a great trip! We were a little slow behind the group making sure he was taking his time but overall would recommend. Greg our guide was great and patient with us. Greg and the team kept in touch with the weather as we were caught in some storms and were keeping an eye on lightning in the area. I would recommend bringing a light rain jacket and wear good boots if you have them. If not, bring tall socks if you need to rent/borrow boots. It was overall a good challenge and would do it again for sure. Total, it took about 4 hours and afterwards we had some hot chocolate to warm up while we waited for the shuttle that took gusts back to town (Banff) which was very convenient.

Absolutely amazing!

It was so much fun, such an amazing experience. It was not scary at all, but the views were breathtaking!

A fun way to earn an amazing view

Carol_P, Jun 2025
Such a great experience! It was exhilarating, empowering, stunning. The Ridgewalk was just the right amount of technical and challenging. No experience needed.. Our guide, Katsu, led our group of 5 perfectly. Would definitely do it again.
