What are people saying about Azores

What a wonderful day!...
What a wonderful day! Francisco was friendly, helpful and engaging. He picked me up at my hotel promptly and we stopped at the many points of interests as promised. What a beautiful city. If you’ve done the mountain excursions, this is the perfect and delightful way to wrap up your trip. By the way, Tomas (the owner) was also very responsive when I had a question about pickup and was highly accommodating. I highly recommend this tour. What a fun way to see the city. And easy ingress and egress!!! - my elderly mother would have loved that!

Amazing wildlife!
Gorgeous views of Sao Miguel. Amazing wildlife, we saw so many dolphins and 3 blue whales! Once in a lifetime experience. Not for the faint of heart motion sickness wise, the seas are pretty rough and many people had a hard time. I got a prescription patch ahead of time and felt perfect, definitely do that haha!

Amazing tour!!!
This was an excellent tour. Our guide/driver was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and he got us to some places most cars could not go. Every stop was phenomenal. This island reminded us so much of Hawaii. Incredible landscapes. We went in mid-April and the high was 63. We were fortunate with a partly sunny day, but it does get cold and windy in the higher elevations. Glad we had jackets. I would highly recommend this tour for fantastic views of Cete Cidades. Our driver knew so much of the history (real and folklore) and how plants and animals were introduced. We learned so much about Ponta Delgada, the Azores, the people and the landscapes that made this an amazing stop on the cruise we were on. Definitely worth every penny.

A must book
A brilliant tour that I would recommend to anyone coming to Sao Miguel. We tasted some excellent food with history and culture weaved throughout. Ishaja was a fantastic host and guide bringing humour and fun to the tour. My highlight was eating at Roots, and eating Mackerel like an Azorian. It’s perfect if you like food and/or want to get a taste of Azorian food to start your trip.

The Azores may only look like tiny specks on a globe, but this little archipelago brings a lot to the table—especially for travelers who love the great outdoors. Azores tours include 4WD excursions, canyoning and caving adventures for all skill levels, boat trips to look for whales and dolphins, visits to tea and pineapple plantations, and a chance to see the sparkling blue-green lakes that fill the craters of dormant Azores volcanoes.
