Tour was worth it! Very cool lava cave experience and stops along the island with good viewpoints. Mario was very friendly and informative

Everything fine, Mario was a proficient guide who knows the island and its particularities quite well, and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed during the individual stops and visits. I enjoyed the trip.
Mario was a fantastic guide! He was so knowledgeable about the history, the geology and the locations of the caves. We also got to visit a beautiful overlook and natural swimming area in the ocean. He speaks perfect English and has a genuine love for the places we visited. We never felt rushed. He answered all of our questions in great detail. It was a wonderful afternoon!
The volcano was truly amazing. The cave tunnels and amount of history our guide told us especially about Nasa using it to test living conditions. It was a great day even with the rain sprinkle on and off.
The tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide Mario knows the island like no one. He can talk about geography, biology, history, he’s truly knowledgable about everything. He’s very kind too and even took us to other points in the island that were not included in the tour.
We loved the tour, especially the volcano (Algar do Carvão - Unesco heritage). We highly recommend this tour, if you love the nature you won’t be disappointed.
