Every aspect of our tour was outstanding. Our guide, Amelia, provided a diverse program that covered all aspects of history, culture and exquisite scenery. She was very professional, a good driver, and anticipated our needs. She was flexible in meeting any special requests—going the extra mile. The included lunch was excellent in a small local restaurant. Strongly recommend this company.

We had a wonderful day with Antonio on Terceira!! He totally worked with our ship schedule and picked us up at 8 and had us back by 2:30pm. I had booked for wrong day and he was so accommodating when we both realized that.
He showed us Praia and Lages and São Sebastião on the way to Angra do Heroismo. Told us so much about history, life, culture and geology of the island. Answered all questions and engaged in conversation with us. Took us to a nice cafe for lunch. Saw the middle of the island afterwards and then the northside. Antonio is easy to understand and speaks loudly and clearly for someone with hearing issues. Our favorite tour of our trip!!

Antonio is the best! He is super friendly, knowledgable, kind, thoughtful, funny, personable, and accommodating. You will NOT have a better experience on this island. Skip the touristy stuff from a cruise line and book him. Skip trying to figure it out all on your own and book him! Could not be happier with our day on the island. THANKS YOU!!

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic full day tour. It was our last day in the Azores and we flew in from Sao Miguel, landing early in the morning at Terceira airport. We were picked up from the airport and began our tour. On the tour, we learned the history of the island and how it was formed, visited different villages, ate some local pastries and had a delicious lunch, and saw some unbelievable sights. We were lucky enough to have great weather the entire day as well, which I'm certain our guide helped with the navigation to ensure that was the case. We were dropped off at the airport with plenty of time to make it on our return flight to the States. If you're looking to pack in a full day of sightseeing, I couldn't recommend this more. It was phenomenal and our guide was great (and took great pictures of us)!!

What a fantastic day with Antonio! Could not have asked for anything better - superb tour from start to finish. Prompt pickup, comfortable luxury vehicle, itinerary customized for us (our group included a Terceira native, so we had some special requests) and never rushed. Delicious full lunch at a quiet, off-the-beaten path restaurant included. Antonio's knowledge of all things Terceira and Azores is nothing short of encyclopedic - we all learned so much! Beautiful sights, unique culture and history all made for a very memorable day. We covered much of the island and every stop was a delight. Highly recommend!

Why we booked the tour:
We (a family of 5) had only 2 days around Terceira so we were looking to find an optimal tour which could give us a good insight of Terceira (the island, the vulcanos, culture...). We also did not have any transportation so we needed a transport (minivan) included in the tour. We found this tour and it was just wat we needed.
The Tour:
Without going to much into details, the tour is just what you need to see and get to know ALL the highlights of the island. It is also not just seeing things but also getting the insight on things. We could ask any question we want and the answer was given. During the tour we never felt any pressure of time or schedule, we even had a time for a swim.
The Guide:
Since we did a lot of travelling, we have some experience with guides. Antonio is just not the everyday guide you meet during a tour. You can notice he explains and speaks out of passion from his island and loves to do his job. He does everything to go one step further as the rest of the tours around the island. No question is unanswered in his tour! By the way is English is perfect!
Conclusion:
MUST DO WHEN YOU VISIT TERCEIRA!
If you don't have much time on the island or even if you want to have a deeper knowledge over everything what is going on on the island!!

My sister and I had such a great day with Antonio :) He is incredibly knowledgeable about anything and everything Terceira and was open to all of our silly questions and whatever we wanted to do throughout the day! Lunch was fantastic and the cheese tasting to top it all of was icing on the cake. Anyone who doesn’t get a tour with him is missing out on everything this island has to offer!

Wonderful full day tour with Antonio ! Started in the morning and covered a lot of ground but at a relaxing and enjoyable pace. Saw so many great sights, learned about local culture and history. Lunch was fantastic and the views spectacular. Highly recommend this private tour!!

Fantastic private tour with our guide Antonio. Very well planned so we saw the highlights of this beautiful island with a fantastic lunch at the Rocha restaurant overlooking the sea. Antonio was a joy to be with so much fascinating local knowledge about the islands history and it's people. Antonio was a great guide and shared the history, stories, customs and special places on Terciera.
He picked us up right on time at our hotel in a nice comfortable clean Mercedes van.
Having grown up on Terciera he was able to answer all our questions. His English is excellent! He was able to adjust our tour to the weather. We had a low cloud level so some peaks with normally great views were in the clouds, but that and a bit of rain didn’t take away from our experience.
He even found a Vodafone store along the way so I could get a local SIM card for our Azores trip!
Lunch was fantastic local food and wine and we stopped in the afternoon for some local cheese and wine.
We chose to do the tour after a long day and flight with little sleep because we wanted the island tour on our first full day to get the highlights and recommendations for our remaining days.
He kept it very interesting so we never felt tired!
We’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island. We would have NEVER learned as many interesting things if we only toured by ourselves with a guide bock!

We spent a full day with Antonio. It was a pleasure. He is a great guide and takes meticulous care of his van (which was being featured in a Portuguese soap opera that was being filmed on the island the next day). The tour was very flexible, highly informative, and personalized. A great value for an overview of the island. I would recommend it to anyone.

Outstanding tour. Tour guide Mario was tremendous. Vehicle was clean Mercedes. Despite bad weather Mario made it very worthwhile. Lunch was provided and a delicious fresh cheese stop. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect way to spend our last day in the Azores! Since we were only in Terceira for one day, we wanted to make the most of it. Our tour guide picked us up from the airport upon arrival and customized our day to our interests, dietary needs, and energy level. The van was clean and comfortable, we learned a lot about the history and life on the island, and António was friendly, easy to talk to and clearly felt a deep connection with the island that helped us to appreciate its beauty. He took us to the breathtaking Algar do Carvaõ la a tube as well as some off the beaten path natural spaces to that we really enjoyed. Would 100% recommend if you want a flexible, laid back, comfortable experience with the opportunity to ask lots of questions and glimpse all that Terceira has to offer in a day. Thanks, António! We had a very great time! Antonio is full of surprise! He put the customer at first place, everything is done to make the experience the most wonderful as possible. He cares about you, he drives you to the most attractive place of the island, he takes also very good photos :)!! He is full of passion and this is what make the experience great!
