James, our guide was delightful to spend time with. Smart, interesting, and knowledgeable. He was attentive to all levels in our group. and showed us the extraordinary nature and views available on Mont Brasil. It was my fourth visit and by far the best ever. Do not miss this opportunity. This was a terrific way to spend the morning - James picked us up and quickly had us situated with our bikes. He allowed time to become comfortable with the controls and we were off - the ebike’s turbo level made it all very easy. James was very aware of our levels and our comfort, providing water and offering numerous stops along the way. History, local lore, and personal
Insights combined with beautiful views made the trip go by quickly. The views from the top of Mt Brasil should not be missed and you will be glad you out in the effort. James made our trip effortless, fun and insightful. 5 star all the way!

This is such an amazing short tour if you want to get some great views and a bit of exercise as well. James was a sweetheart and made sure my friend and I had a good time and gave us enough time to stop and take pictures and that we were always okay while riding the bikes as well.

My wife and I both agree that this was our favorite tour on Terceira. Our tour guide Andre was outstanding at explaining how to use the e-bikes before going on our tour! He was very patient and had us take a couple of spins around the area to make sure we were comfortable using the e-bikes before the tour began. We stopped at several amazing vistas on Monte Brasil and Andre provided us with Terceira history at each stop. I would highly recommend this tour! It was remarkably not as strenuous as we expected. All you have to do is pedal and the e-bike will assist your ascent up the mountain.

Must do E-bike experience. Guide was courteous and educational regarding the history of the island. Fun activity to do with friends. Great way to spend a morning on the island. KTM turbo bikes were awesome!

Our guide, Jaime, was great. He was concerned with safety and having fun. This was a great way to see Mt Brasil. The electric bike was super helpful on the hills. The views are fabulous.

The bikes are large mountain bikes for tall adults. I am a 5’4 59 year old woman who rides an e bike on a regular basis at home and even with the saddle at the lowest setting I was unable to touch the ground. The bike route is a very steep incline and the bike was very hard to handle. One member of the group lost his battery twice on the ride and my husbands brakes failed on the descent down hill. Another women in the group who was about 5’7 also complained that the bike was too big. There were no options of bike sizes to choose from. The ride was pretty and bigs you to the highest point on the island but each of the four people in our group had issues with the bikes provided .

We appreciate your feedback, as all comments are important to us.
We apologize in advance for the battery situation that
got off the bike, it only happened once and it was our fault as the guide forgot to lock the battery of that bicycle that day.
It was not serious, the situation resolved itself at the time and we see no reason to complain, either way
we apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Regarding the size of the bike, at the beginning of each tour we present the electric bicycles and inform
everything about how it works. customers before the tour always do a test drive to adapt to the bike,
this test drive is carried out with the purpose of adapting, adjusting the seat to your measure, and check if you are comfortable to take the tour.
Since it confirmed that it was ready for the activity after the test drive, we then proceeded to the tour.
No one in the group complained or expressed anything
bad about the bikes working at the moment.
I remember that the tour went very well, the weather that day was magnificent and we managed to
make the whole tour with fun and safe.
Before the start of the tour, the route we are going to take is also presented, with all the information about the points we are going to visit, ascents and descents.
I remember visiting a volcanic island, where there's lots of up hills and down hills, hence the adventure of riding an electric bike is more fun!

What a great decision it was to take this your. Not only were the electric bikes a fun adventure, we are so grateful for the tour of Mt Brazil and James’ excellent tales of history, flora and fauna. The viewed were exquisite and we would have never seen all of this beautiful park on foot or by car. Many thanks- one of the highlights of our week in Terceira!!!
