Despite the storm front that caused exceptionally bad weather conditions the tour went ahead. The guide did a great job substituting other points of interest and providing historical information. In light of the storm front and this being low season we would have appreciated the tour operator taking the initiative to re-book to another day. After all we booked this tour precisely so we could view Sete Cidades off road.

Weather and comfortability of travelling in the Jeep were terrible.

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip! The guide was so knowledgeable and experienced. The views were breathtaking! But honestly the guide made the tour for us. She was friendly, knowledgeable and made the day comfortable and well worth the money! I went on this tour 7 months pregnant and she made sure to go slow and check on me to ensure I was comfortable. Absolutely 100% recommend and would do again.

View from the weather station down to the lake was outrageously beautiful. Took backroads avoiding masses on buses. Lunch by the ocean for a mid-trip break.
