We were lucky to have Andre our tour guide a second day. We saw so many beautiful sights. Andre took us to many gorgeous view points to see all different parts of the island. We learned a lot of new information too. I would highly recommend this tour and tour company.

Joaquim was a knowledgeable tour guide who took us to the most beautiful viewpoints on the east coast! We had delicious food and a wonderful time visiting different spots. Would highly recommend
Our tour guide Hugo was very knowledgeable and passionate about his island! We learned a great deal on this tour and would highly recommend it to others.
An exceptional tour with the knowledgeable Joaquim. The waterfalls were lovely. We learnt so much on our first tour of the Azores.
The included lunch with drinks was very welcome.
If you want to see the paradise on the island, take this tour. Our guide Bruno was very friendly and knowledgeable. He covered all the waterfalls and gardens on this trip gave enough time to enjoy. Lunch buffet in a local restaurant was also very good. Pick up and drop off from our hotel made was very convenient. Strongly recommended!
Tour guide was very friendly and attentive. Van was clean. Very informative on the area. Took care of even the details of keeping the van cool.
During the entire tour, José made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying their day. Each stop was beautiful and accompanied with informative commentary. The lunch buffet was so delicious. As an extra, we went to the liquor factory and managed to squeeze in a mini tour with the opportunity to buy some travel size Souvenirs. A great day and a great tour.
Wonderful tour! Our guide was able to adapt the tour for all levels of accessibility to different waterfalls and viewpoints. The lunch spot was wonderful with authentic food! Your guide was very informative!
There is lots of walking. It’s not strenuous, but be prepared to walk a bit. If you have trail shoes, would be best, but can do it without.
Despite the rain, our tour guide Miguel did such a wonderful job of showing us around! We loved all the beautiful waterfalls! When clouds blocked views of the coast of Nordeste, we went to a liquor factory and chocolate factory instead where we were able to enjoy a lot of the local delicious alcohol and treats. We agreed that going on the tour was a terrific way to spend an unpredictable rainy day! All thanks to Miguel! Thank you!

We loved our tour with José! He was so knowledgeable about the island including the flora and fauna, agriculture, political history and jam-packed so many facts into our tour. Our whole group thought he was very personable and genuine. He took us to beautiful places that we would never have found otherwise.

The views are fantastic. Our guide Joaquin was just excellent with his outlook to life and enthusiasm that made the trip so much better. Finally Mother Nature is at its best with human interaction. Even though it was raining towards the last quarter, it should be expected in this area.

Joaquim, our guide, was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the island, personable and easy to talk to, and fun. Chasing waterfalls all day, walking in parks, and lunch together with the group was the highlight of our trip for sure. We'd highly recommend this tour to everyone.
We just had a wonderful all day adventure visiting the beautiful area surrounding Nordeste. Our personal tour guide Josef (Joe) was outstanding. He delivered so much information and stories of the area and of Sao Miguel. We had so many laughs and shared great memories. Thank you for giving us that personal touch and showing us so much. We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely home-cooked buffet lunch. We totally recommend this tour and especially Josef.

Very thorough and fun tour of the Nordeste side of Sao Miguel. Our guide, Hugo, was very kind and knowledgable. Getting to learn about the ecology and little towns were the highlights.
The scenery is stunning and the guide knowledgeable. The lunch was delicious and in a quaint local restaurant.

We had a wonderful day exploring the eastern side of São Miguel. Nordeste and the coastline are absolutely stunning, with viewpoints that just kept getting better at every stop. Though, beware as the road is long and serpentine, so do prepare for a bit of a ride, but it is totally worth it.
Lunch was excellent, and it was great to see a vegetarian option available.
The highlight of the sights was definitely the Cascata da Ribeira dos Caldeirões, with its beautiful waterfall and old mill, it was a really special place to end the trip.
But what made the day truly unforgettable was our guide, José. He was engaging, knowledgeable, and such a great communicator. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a fantastic experience, we couldn’t have asked for better.
Of the three full day tours of the island, this was hands down the best in terms of views. Goao, our tour guide was very knowledgeable. He shared the history of the island and stories of each and every stop on the tour. He offered to take photos at every stop and suggestions of restaurants for dinner.
Have a good guide who knows the area and the off the beaten path items. Our guide put us on a hidden waterfall view that I really liked. And I really enjoyed his stop in Povoação.
The scenery was spectacular even though the weather wasn’t perfect (not under anyone’s control) I did feel the guide did not fulfill the description of the tour with info on the geology and culture/history of the town . He only answered questions as they were asked rather than a detailed informative talk similar to what we’ve had on many of our other tours. He spent way too much time on his phone with private conversations rather than interacting and describing the area.
Lunch was so so
We had an amazing and informative guide in Jose who showed us some amazing scenery including The White Tower, wildlife, coastline, a lighthouse, some gardens and waterfalls. A must for all visitors.
This was an educational and very enjoyable way to see the east side of Sao Miguel island. Joaquin is a fabulous guide.
