What are people saying about Alaska

Great views of wildlife and excellent crew! Orcas galore!
The Captain was super good and found the orcas for us. Mazie, the tour guide, was really good at explaining things and giving accurate analysis. The only negative was that there was quite limited viewing from the outside areas. People would stand by the rail thus blocking the view of those still seated. We were on the Rachel Marie which seemed a bit smaller than the other boats but I’d still give it a 9 out of 10. Crew was 10 out of 10! We saw approximately 12 orcas!

Go for it!
Great day trip, kudos to the Captain and crew for making everything run smoothly. We saw a ton of birds, some sea lions, sea otters, and a lone humpback making its way down to Hawaii way. They try to really let you experience everything as best they can.

Outstanding experience
We absolutely loved this adventure. The captain did a great job piloting the ship. The crew was very friendly and personable. We were well informed on the different areas and points of interest throughout the cruise. The cabin seats were comfortable and there was plenty of room to bring along your backpack. We enjoyed the hot lunch and fresh baked cookies before disembarking. Although it was late in the season for whales, we saw plenty of wildlife. The absolute highest was getting up close to the Aialik Glacier. We spent a long time there so everyone got a great opportunity to view it up close and take photos. We even saw some calving of the glacier. I would definitely recommend this tour and will book again if I travel to Seward again,

Experiencing Alaska by water
It was a comfortable and fun excursion for all age levels. Assigned seating inside with opportunities to view wildlife, mountains, fjords and seas outside on three levels. The captain and crew were efficient and knowledgeable. It was a great way to experience Alaska.

The state of Alaska is enormous, and more than half of it is wilderness—so it should come as no surprise that a majority of Alaska tours are focused on exploring the great outdoors. You can go for a hike on icefields, take a boat ride to look for whales, get a bird’s-eye view of glaciers and fjords from a helicopter, marvel at the scenery in Alaska’s national parks, stay up late to see the northern lights, and hop on a dog sled. There are also tours in some of Alaska’s most popular cities, including expert-led sightseeing and foodie adventures.
