What are people saying about Alaska

Great Value
Shad was a great guide. He was personal and informative and waiting right outside our ship - so very easy to find. We saw bears, a waterfall, and learned about the salmon life cycle on a private tour. Made us want to come back to Ketchikan and stay for a week.

The whale watching was...
The whale watching was wonderful. We saw seals, whales and porpoises. The visit to Mendenhall glacier was largely self guided but it was great for hiking and enjoying the scenery. The vehicle drivers were great! Gave us lots of tips and information about the area.

Amazing experience!
Captain John, Alisha, Louise, and Carl were absolutely amazing! They were so knowledgeable, kind, and just as excited to be there as we were. They made our excursion incredible. We saw all different types of wildlife and no matter where you sit you will get a chance to see the critters. The drinks on board are great and packing a lunch was ideal as I am a vegetarian and the options are limited for the half day cruise in that category, my husband loved the hotdog though!

Great Double Tour
Everything they said it would be with snacks, coffee, great tour guides and fun. From the bus driver to the boat captain and mate they were professional and a lot of fun. We saw lots of wildlife and the glacier was an easy walk with pickup right at the visitor station

The state of Alaska is enormous, and more than half of it is wilderness—so it should come as no surprise that a majority of Alaska tours are focused on exploring the great outdoors. You can go for a hike on icefields, take a boat ride to look for whales, get a bird’s-eye view of glaciers and fjords from a helicopter, marvel at the scenery in Alaska’s national parks, stay up late to see the northern lights, and hop on a dog sled. There are also tours in some of Alaska’s most popular cities, including expert-led sightseeing and foodie adventures.
