Partake in one of Italy’s most time-honored art forms during this two-and-a-half-hour small-group glass-blowing workshop on the island of Murano. Suitable for beginners, workshops include a live demonstration and hands-on instruction in shaping molten glass. Make an original art object to take back home as a souvenir, ready for pickup the next day. Your glass piece can also be shipped worldwide at an additional cost.

My adult daughter and I participated in an incredible cultural, hands-on glassmaking class, and it exceeded our expectations. Our instructor was highly knowledgeable and walked us through the entire process, making us feel comfortable and confident as we created our pieces.
We learned about Murano glass and its history, the company, and various glassblowing techniques before focusing on the specific methods we would use. The experience began with a detailed walkthrough, where we handled the tools and equipment ourselves.
One of the highlights was working side by side with skilled artisans in a functioning glass factory, actively producing and fulfilling real orders. It was such an inspiring environment. The instructor adapted perfectly to our preferences, offering just the right amount of guidance based on how much support we wanted.
I highly recommend the full immersive experience. We chose to wait the three hours for our piece to cool so we could take it with us instead of shipping it. In the meantime, we enjoyed a great local restaurant and some shopping, an added bonus to an already memorable day.

Incredible experience, our favorite in Venice! Heidi was our instructor and she was fantastic: patient and clear in showing us how to create our pieces. Highly recommend, both for the chance to learn glassblowing and to have a wonderful keepsake of your time in Venice.

Absolutely loved the glassblowing class. Our teacher walked us through every step, and made us feel safe and supported with the process. This was a highlight of my Italy trip, and I would strongly recommend taking it. I had them ship my glass home since it had to cool overnight, and I can't wait to see and use it.

The class was definitely a little expensive but worth it. Being on the production floor was a cool experience and our teacher Melissa was super helpful during the class itself. Just a heads up shipping your glass item can get a little expensive so it’s better to carry it back with you.

We have been to several places to see glass blowing demonstrations but nothing is the same as doing it yourself. Heidi was brilliant in guiding us through the techniques for our glass blowing and at the end of it we each had our very own unique Murano glass piece - what an experience - an absolute must if you want to really understand the skill and techniques of this art.

This was an amazing experience. Our teacher was so kind and patient. We learned all about the process and got to do every step from gathering the glass to blowing it and shaping it. She helped all along the way and didn't make anyone feel bad for not knowing anything. I went in without any experience at all and came out with a beautiful vase. I highly recommend this experience!

We had an awesome experience we were taught how to get the Liquid Glass on to the steel rod and then roll the glass blow down the rod not to forget to keep spinning the rod at all times. All 4 people made a beautiful piece of glass ware but none of this could have happened without our teacher Emilia she was superb, an absolute brilliant instructor.
We all what to come back again and we will be telling the stories forever.

We had a fantastic two hours with Stephanie that introduced us to the art of glass blowing .
We were able to make a piece of our choice ( glass or vase ) with her guidance and her help .
It is after all much more difficult!

My boys both had a once in a lifetime experience. This was a nice and memorable experience for my 14 and 12 year olds who made tumblers. They had a great tour (which is limited to 4 people in each group. We only had 3 people do it in our group and we had an exceptional experience! Recommend booking for an early class (10am) if you would like to pick up your tumbler or vase (depending on which one you decide to make) because your item takes another 3-4 hours after you make the glass, before it is ready to be picked up and taken home. If it is not ready, you may come back the following day or they can ship to your home address.
