Our guide Hoto was amazing! He spoke great English and was super friendly and knowledgeable throughout the whole Mount Fuji trip. I loved the Lake Kawaguchi cruise, and he made everything so easy and fun. He helped us with photos, showed us all the best spots, and made sure we were always comfortable. We felt really well taken care of and appreciated his warm hospitality. Anyone would be lucky to have Hoto as their guide — highly recommend!

It wasn’t necessarily the rain that ruined the tour in question. It was that there was no backup of things to do.Not only did we not see Mount Fuji.The boat ride was cancelled as well as the panoramic cable car ride. Which is majority of the tour and the bulk of the over $700 spent. This was not worth the money. In situations like this there needs to be a backup of things planned. Our “ guide” was a great driver and that’s all. He would arrive at an alternate location since it was raining such as a lake or random shrine and just send us on our way. His favorite line was you go ahead I’ll stay here. He never escorted us anywhere or informed us about anything. For example. We go to a shrine and I state oh wow it’s beautiful What goes on here what’s the history. His response with a shoulder shrug was “ I don’t know I guess shrine stuff “. Unacceptable for over $700. You should have a response. You’re my tour guide. Then he would go to the vehicle while me and my guest were out in the rain and VAPE. are you kidding me. Something’s need explaining and this is one of them. Because this was not worth over $700 that was paid. He did take us to an outlet because there was nothing else planned to do. I deserve some type of reimbursement and this company needs to retrain there staff.

I'm truly sorry that you were unable to see Mount Fuji due to the weather conditions. Unfortunately, weather is beyond our control, and in situations like this—when you had already traveled from Tokyo to the Fuji area—our driver did his best to take you to all the alternative locations that were accessible at the time. I understand your frustration, and I apologize if the experience did not meet your expectations. Regarding the guide, we acknowledge your feedback and are taking it seriously. As a gesture of goodwill, I have already offered a refund for the Lake Cruise and Gondola ride, which were canceled. However, a full refund is not possible, as the tour did take place. The driver provided a full 12-hour service and took you to every location that was feasible under the circumstances. We truly value your feedback and will continue to improve our service and staff training to avoid such experiences in the future.

My experience was absolutely amazing! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared interesting insights about each place we visited. I got to witness one of the most breathtaking views of Mount Fuji – truly unforgettable. The pick-up was right on time, and the entire journey was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Mount Fuji.
