Begin your excursion at the tour meeting point in central Tokyo. Continue by bus to the Tokyo Tower, to enjoy stunning panoramic vistas of this massive city and its environs on the main deck (tickets included).
Then, head back down to earth to the Imperial Palace, where you have time for a quick photo opportunity in front of this famous home of the Japanese Emperor.
Continue with a stop at the ancient Asakusa Kannon Temple, (also called Senso-ji) a famous religious landmark that is the city’s oldest Buddhist sanctuary.
Stop by Nakamise street, another celebrated shopping area lined with vendors selling traditional Japanese souvenirs and snacks.

- At Tokyo Tower, only the main deck (150 m) will be visited. An additional admission fee is required to access the Special Observatory (250 m). Those who wish to enter must pay the required charges at the location.
- The order of the tour itinerary is subject to change due to road conditions or other reasons.
- Depending on the season and day of the week, traffic conditions may vary, and arrival time at each location may be considerably delayed. Thank you for your understanding.
- Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge, but will not be provided with bus seats. If a seat on the bus is required for the child, please make a booking at the Child rate.
- As part of the initiatives for SDGs, an environment-friendly hybrid bus will be used for transportation. (May be changed due to maintenance or other unavoidable circumstances.)
- In an effort to prevent global warming, the bus will have its engine and cooling/heating turned off while waiting. Thank you for your understanding.
- In general, groups with an odd number of members will share seats with other customers.
- Parental permission in writing is necessary for all tour participants under the age of eighteen. Any participant under the age of fifteen or not yet enrolled in middle school must be joined by a parent or guardian on the tour.
- Due to traffic restrictions or entry restrictions, etc. near the Imperial Palace, operation may be suspended or departure may not be possible from the designated departure location.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 40 travelers

The guide for this tour seemed a bit nervous. I would encourage her to work on her confidence in public speaking because her English is good! The locations to the tour are good and I liked ending in Asakusa so we could go off on our own if we chose to do so.

The tour bus arrived on time. Sites were great. I loved sensoji temple. The Tour guide was knowledgeable/informative. Bus was roomy and clean. The tour stayed on time. I recommend this tour if you’re in Tokyo, on a layover/stopover. Or, if you have other Escursions in the pm/evening hours.

On our second day in Tokyo, we decided that some kind of “big” tour would be advisable, just to get oriented to a broader area of the city. So this one was perfect not only because it was over by 12:30 pm and left us by the Tokyo Station, but also because the bus took us to two central locations (the Tokyo Tower and the Imperial Palace site, to walk outside), and then to one major site farther out from the center, the Asakusa Kannon Temple, not just the holy site but also the extremely busy market streets all around. An added bonus was that the bus tour allowed us to see, from the bus as we moved back inward, a broad range of neighborhoods, from the Ueno Station (where we would later return several times to visit the museums and the zoo), the Akihabara shopping area and inward to Nakamise.
Our guide, Junko, was truly superb, with a very colloquial English and very clear instructions about meeting, times, etc. She also provided an enormous amount of historical and social information about Tokyo as we moved about the city. One extraordinary treat for us, at the Tokyo Tower, was to be able to see off in the distance VERY clearly Mount Fuji, and to get some very nice picture of it. Junko was over the moon about this since the visibility is rarely as clear as this. The Imperial Palace portion was mainly a nice walk, since there are only a very few locations on the Palace grounds that one can enter, and that was not part of the tour, thankfully. The Asakusa Temple visit was really an eyeful, not just at the very crowded temple site itself, but the throngs of people in the streets all around. We got off the main streets to explore a bit, and even found a gelato store, but were almost late for the bus! In any case, we found ourselves on Sunday noon at the main train station, but near the open Post Office, and near several shopping centers where we found a food court and lots of activity as well. All in all, this tour was exactly what we wanted.

If you have limited time to go around Tokyo, this is one tour worth going... had a glimpse of some wonderful places Tokyo can offer - from amazing city views in Tokyo tower to the serenity of Imperial palace and the rich culture of their temple and shine... Enjoyed every minute of it...

Too expensive. The guide performed really well. Tokyo tower went ok but I would recommend going there on your own. Imperial palace were ok but really short. The temple were really bad and boring. Don’t go there at all.

I would have appreciated a more in depth tour of the Imperial Palace. That was the only disappointing part of this tour. Our guide was awesome as well as our bus driver. The Tokyo Sky Tree was amazing as well. More time to shop would've been appreciated.

Mediocre intro tour. You’re basically paying for the bus ride, as Our guide talked a lot about himself (Japan is about credentials, I suppose). It was a bummer because I did not learn much at all; we were at the imperial palace and I learned that my guide has 3 daughters, a wife who spends his money, and is very healthy. While nice, a short tour really should not be (gloating) about ones life. Spend your money on another tour. Points for hotel pick up and friendliness.

Great tour! Went to Tokyo Towers, the Imperial Palace, and Senso-ji Temple Asakusa. While on this tour, you receive a sightseeing bag, which was great. You have the option of returning back to starting point or staying at Asakusa. I opted to stay because it was one subway ride away from the Skytree. I definitely would recommend this tour as an introductory tour to Tokyo.

A good trip if youre short of time
With not much time to spare this was an excellent introduction to some of Tokyos highlights. The guide was good so sorry, but I cant recall your name and we had time to explore by ourselves. The highlight for me was the visit to the Asakusa Kannon temple notwithstanding there being so many sightseers.

Great overview of Tokyo for first time visitors or people with limited time in the city. We opted to leave the tour at the end and explore on our own, rather than taking the bus back to the starting point.

Pleased with the tour. We had a 4:55pm flight out of Narita and we had enough time and did not feel rushed after doing this tour in the morning. The tour can leave you at Tokyo station and you can catch a train to the airport. The guide spoke English very well and was well informed. There is not much time at each stop and the last stop is very busy with the amount of people and the lines at the shops. major attraction The second stop is about a 10 min walk AROUND the imperial palace, not in it. We were informed that they only open the grounds two times a year, new years day and late December. All in all, well worth it. Happy I did it. Perfect way to spend the morning on the day I left while learning about the city!

The guide was very good. We had to do a morning tour. Wish we hide more time and were able to do a full day tour. There is so much to see and do. We will have to go back to Tokyo. I was disappointed the we had to find our own way back to our hotel.
