Our guide Hamada combined several food stops with tours of several historic sites in the city of Tokyo. Explaining some of the history of the city while visiting shrines as well as including popular food stops was the highlight of our tour. He gave us about several options that we could consider and let us tailor the tour towards our needs. As we spent the day together, we got to know each other very well so that he felt like he was part of our family

Chisato was an AMAZING tour guide! Chisato was organized and maximized our visit to Tokyo. We had wonderful meals in local Tokyo restaurants. It was wonderful to use the public transportation to interact with the local community and stay away from the typical tourist experience.

Excellent local guide (Chisato) made my experience memorable. She is friendly,knowledgeable, willing to share cultural & daily life experiences , and importantly listen to my interests to plan a great outing. The two included meals (bbq & sushi) were delicious and the restaurants were awaiting us. Enjoyed the snack! I appreciated her expertise navigating public transportation and taking pictures for me. Grateful this tour included her meeting me at my hotel and bringing me back. I love walking tours! You really get to experience local life! I would recommend that the Washoku Club list the possible 13 locations to visit by geographic area on the Viator site. This would help the guests know they need to pick their top 4-6 destinations in close proximity for the tour guide to create the tour before the date. I was fortunate my tour guide Chisato adjusted and created my tour plan with short notice. I found the Washoku Club very responsive to any inquiry I made. Very happy to have enjoyed this tour as my introduction to Japan
