Disappointing not as expected

Was so looking forward to this. Whilst the host was lovely the experience was disappointing. Camera didn’t work which was the whole point of the experience. Backdrop for photographs was poor I expected a better variation. Overall disappointing.

We literally walked into this with no expectations at all. This was an amazing experience. They make up artist was fantastic and super patient with the whole process. The photographer was also amazing. They both were very encouraging to get into the Geisha role. The pictures are stunning. Another experience for exceeding expectations and a must for anyone.

Amazing experience! Highly recommended. The time and effort that the ladies give to make sure you look your best as a Geisha. They take their time to put your makeup and allow you ti choose your outfit! Also they take beautiful pictures. We never felt rushed to do anything and the experience was unique. The pictures came out amazing! It was 3 of us and they treated us VIP.

My unique and amazing Oiran Geisha experience❤️🇯🇵

I had a most unique and amazing experience of being an Oiran Geisha. Thanks so much to Tomo and Tomo who were very instrumental in making my experience absolutely unforgettable! Through their explanation, I learned that an Oiran or Japanese prostitute had a much more decorative costume than that of a Geisha who was an entertainer or performer. All these started 400 years ago during the Edo period in Japan. And the reason they both wore white makeup was because during that time, their theaters where the Geishas performed were dark, and the white makeup allowed the audience to see them more clearly. I also learned that there are 3 layers of the Japanese kimono: the inner kimono, the sash which was pulled very tight like a corset, and the uchikake or the jacket. By the time I was wearing the jacket, I couldn't move anymore because of the sheer weight of everything! Overall, I am very thankful and most overwhelmed that I got to have this once in a lifetime experience! Arigato gozaimasu @kawaii_kimono_!
