Overview

Learn the Japanese art of kintsugi, which repairs broken pottery with gold or other metals, maki-e, a lacquer technique that uses gold or silver decoration, or gold leaf pasting, in this private workshop in Tokyo. Choose the craft you want to learn, then create your own unique souvenir or work or art to take home with you.

  • Please note that the workshop may be conducted alongside regular customers.
  • These 3 experiences are available for participants aged 13 and older.
  • You are welcome to bring your own ceramic or porcelain item (up to approx. φ15 cm × H15 cm, with 1–2 broken parts) for the kintsugi experience.
  • Please note that no refunds will be issued if you do not participate in the experience on the scheduled day.
  • If you arrive late, the experience will still end at the originally scheduled time.
  • This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate
