I am a big MLB fan go Tigers. Going to a Tokyo baseball game was a must. There is not much of tour pre-game. What you are paying for is the seats location (fan section) and our guide was great. Explained the cheers the difference from their baseball rules and MLB. How MLB is more about long game verse there is more about short even though in second inning the opposing team hit a hr. It was nice to see strategic advancement of runner even with bunting. Our tour guides was very knowledgeable about sports in general we talked about NBA and NFL. The whole experience was fantastic. The atmosphere at the game with the crowd and their energy was amazing.

We went to the baseball game and sat in the home team cheering section. Having a guide definitely helped us understand the many different cheers and things peculiar to baseball in Japan.
Please be aware that the cheering section is bleachers and the seats are very close together which felt a little uncomfortable.

Very good communication with us from beginning to end. Great facility great fun experiance the only negative for us was the actual physical seats we sat un were very uncomfortable.

Attending a baseball game in Japan was on my bucket-list so this activity was the very first thing I booked for my trip to Tokyo. I couldn't be happier with my experience! Jason was super friendly and explained everything very well. He took our group to a couple official merch stores before the game in case we wanted to purchase anything (I got the coziest sweatshirt - Go Giants!) He handed out printed copies of the various chants and songs, along with player stats, so we could reference them throughout the game. (However, you pretty much have them memorized by the 2nd inning!) As someone that attends MLB games, I found the differences fascinating. Sitting in the cheering section was the best! (I fear Dodgers games will seem a lot more dull from now on...haha) Some of the group left a bit early to beat the rush out of the stadium, but I stayed until the end and didn't find it difficult to leave despite it being a sold out game. Thanks again, Jason!

It was great! Our two guides were excellent. Ball Game was an experience to enjoy. We almost missed our meeting spot, let me say there are numerous 7-11's.

It was a great experience - joining in with a group of enthusiastic supporters who gave their all for the entire night.

Best way to watch a game if you're new to Japanese baseball! Jason was a fantastic guide. He was so friendly, knows a ton about the sport, the players, and the traditions and history of the game. He can also answer any question you have. He even brought some traditional Japanese snacks to share. He took great care of us the whole time. This game was one of the highlights of our whole Japan trip. My husband and I are huge SF Giants fans and we only wish MLB could have this sort of fan energy at our games!

Sitting in the cheering section for the Yokohama BayStars was a memorable experience. Jason is an excellent guide. Being a transplant from North America, he speaks perfect English and is able to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for Japanese baseball. I especially enjoyed the local snacks he shared as well as the context and explanations he provided for different situations, players, and cheers. He also gave great suggestions for bars and restaurants to check out during the rest of our trip. Highly recommended!

It rained so we did not go. I believe the game was still played but we did not want to sit in the rain watching the game. Non-refundable tickets.
Jason kept is up todate, I beleive if it would have been a nice day we would have had a blast with Jason.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Unfortunately, weather is something we can’t control, and the game went ahead as schedueled. These tickets were purchased in advance and aren't refundable if the game goes ahead.

If there is a game scheduled you should definitely do this! Jason was an excellent host, communicated very effectively throughout, and organized a wonderful experience. Baseball fanatic or not you will love this. What a great insight into Japanese culture and sport. Tokyo Dome so beautiful, great and varied food (including legit hot dog) and roving beer girls who are so cute and efficient. Absolutely fun and entertaining event!! Don’t miss this . Thank you Jason!!

It is also worth checking out the game and seeing how their culture differs.

Attending a baseball game in Tokyo is a must do activity! We had so much fun learning the chants for the individual players and the other customs that are unique to Japan. Kristi and Jadon were terrific and provided us with delicious rice treats. Loved it!
Lisa_K, Sep 2025
It was very well done! Our guide communicated where to meet and also brought snacks which were appreciated.

It was wonderful. Wonderful stadium. guide brought song sheets and explained all the cheers. Even took us shopping to buy team gear. A whole different experience. Girl beer sales was unusual and nice.

Jason took our family to the Tokyo Dome to watch the Tokyo Giants play against the Hiroshima Carp. It was early July so it was incredibly hot outside, and we were grateful that the Tokyo Dome was indoors and air conditioned.
Jason was very kind to our family, responsive, and organized. He gave us clear directions to the meeting spot. He brought some snacks for the kids and gave us important information like which bento boxes were the most delicious, and which would sell out. He also printed out some of the cheers so that we could take part in the excitement. He explained how the league works and which players were the most favored. Jason really loves baseball, so it was great to be with someone who genuinely enjoys the game.
The seats were part of the "cheering" section, which was a great experience even though the seating was tight (my family is very tall). It made us feel like we were part of the action!

As fans of baseball in the US, my family and I wanted to see a game in Japan. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Kristi, who is fluent in Japanese and English and came equipped with Japanese snacks for us and even transliterated cheers, so we could root for the the Giants. She also was essential in understanding in the etiquette of attending live games, which is different than in the US. Kristi explained the importance of cheering when seated in the cheer section and pointed out separate sections for each team. Taking in a game in Japan is highly recommended and having an interpreter made the experience even richer. Thanks Kristi and Jason!

My son and I went to a baseball game with Jason and it was one of the funnest experiences we had in Tokyo. Jason was a great communicator and made sure what we had the information we needed to get to the location by train. I highly recommend this experience to all sports fans (even if you aren't a sports fan).
Mark_W, May 2025
Jason was amazing and made it feel very much like attending a baseball game with a local. It was a lot of fun learning the player chants and doing them along with everyone during the match.
Lynn_F, May 2025
Jason is very knowledgable about Japanese baseball and he makes the entire experience fun. He is very polite and has integrity. We overpaid for the tickets and he made sure that we received a refund.
Calista_C, Apr 2025
It’s definitely a fun experience seeing a Japanese baseball game! Our guide was kind and passionate about the game and the local culture - brought Japanese snacks and a printout of the team cheers. We were a little bummed that part of the group got to sit in the cheering section while our seats were up much higher, but it was still a good view of the game and fun to watch the cheers and the beer girls and eat at the concessions stands. If you want to go with a group, this is the way to go, but if you’re adventurous, we found out you can purchase tickets online for less (if the game isn’t sold out - so plan ahead).
Christopher_T, Apr 2025
Nothing like a game in North America, a very different and lively experience. The crowd music/singing reminded me of a Dutch or German football match and the drinks vendors are a show in themselves. The hosts Jason & Christy did a superb job.
Hector_G, Apr 2025
Don’t know where to start but just gotta thank both Jason and Kristi for a great experience! I went with my cousin who has a hard time walking and Kristi made sure to ask for elevator service and that was really nice of her. From the food, beer girls and the giants winning 8-1 it couldn’t have been any better. Definitely gonna come back in the future thanks again.
