If you are thinking about this tour and still deciding, just book it now!! I have absolutely no doubt it will be everything you want and so much more!!!! I have been in Tokyo for only a few days and I can already tell this was and will be the absolute best part of my trip! Jake was the most friendly person I have met on my travel throughout the years. He knew exactly everything right to do and performed all of it professionally and personably. If his professional and friendly personality was top notch, his drifting and knowledge of the drifting scene and cars was out of this world. I couldn’t stop thanking him for this experience because I don’t think I would ever get this anywhere else. Again and so many more times THANK YOU!

SIDEWAYS SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE

If you're a fan of Initial D or Tokyo Drift or Ken Block, and have been dreaming of being in a drift car then this experience will SEND you. What better place to feel the sideways G-force than in the mecca of drifting, Japan. Much like a lot of Americans visiting Japan, I wanted to maximize what I can do in the little time I had there. In my research, to get to the Ebisu drift circuit from Tokyo as a newcomer with limited Japanese phrases and no international driver's license would be arduous and difficult. Then you would have to book a drift taxi which from what I recall was expensive and only limited number of laps. That's where JDM Tours and their "Ebisu Circuit Drift Experience," made following this dream easy. They deal with all of the logistics and communication for you which is major if you're not fluent in Japanese. They pick you up from wherever you're staying in Tokyo, then drive you to the circuits. Then you drift beyond your heart's content. Have lunch. Continue to drift! Then they bring you back all in the same day! I was fortunate to have Jake be my driver/shaman in a Nissan 350z! He's incredibly personable and willing to share not just drift knowledge but insightful stories about Japan and its culture and people. Also, he's a MFing drift monster on the hairpins. Even though it rained half of the day, Jake still shredded the courses regardless. I'm no drift connoisseur but compared to the other drifters there, he seemed to be one of the very few to complete laps regularly without spinning out. Overall, couldn't be happier with this experience! Even though we had just met that day, it felt like I was just hanging out with an old friend who just so happened to be really good at driving fast sideways around corners. ----- TL;DR If you want a stress-free day trip from Tokyo to experience a lot of DRIFTING, with a cool and talented guide, then this is THE tour for you. P.S. If you're a fan of Initial D era cars, then hopefully you'll have my luck and be able to see an AE86 in-person. If not, still plenty of other cars to ogle at.

I booked this experience for my boyfriend who is a huge car enthusiast and it was the absolute best day of our trip for him. I wanted to get him to Ebisu Circuit so he could have a true drift experience while in Tokyo but I was struggling on how to get him there with no car and no knowledge of the roads or how the circuit works, when I stumbled across Jake’s business. He is very friendly and personable, booking this with him was an ease. He picked my boyfriend up at our hotel in Tokyo and drove him to the circuit where they spent the whole day. When he dropped off my boyfriend back at the hotel my boyfriend was smiling from ear to ear and could not believe the day he just had, it was truly a dream come true for him that couldn’t have been possible without this experience. If you want to go to Ebisu Circuit but don’t have a car to get you there or want to experience a drive with a true drifter, don’t hesitate to book this! I can’t emphasize enough how much my boyfriend enjoyed this, he is still raving about it!!
