A Truly Unforgettable Pasta-Making Experience in Sicily

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the warmth and generosity that Sicilians are famous for. Nella was not only incredibly skilled but also wonderfully passionate about sharing the island’s culinary traditions. We learned how to prepare fresh pasta completely from scratch—feeling the texture, understanding the dough, and shaping each piece with techniques passed down through generations. Every step was hands-on, joyful, and filled with laughter. As we cooked, we also learned stories about Sicilian culture, family traditions, and food heritage, making the experience far richer than just a cooking class. Afterwards, we sat together to enjoy the meal we prepared—paired with a gorgeous local wine and surrounded by that warm Sicilian light. It felt like having lunch with family rather than attending a lesson. I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you want authenticity, connection, and unforgettable flavour, this is an absolute must-do.

Nella was extremely welcoming snd treated us like family. The pasta making instructions was fun and delicious. The wine and antipasti was some of the best we’ve had in all of Sicily! I highly recommend her class and look forward to coming back and doing another class with her soon.
