We don’t pick up our guests from their accommodations. We’ll meet at Norte Shopping Center in San Juan. Van/bus will be parked at the shopping center parking lot. Your tour guide will contact you before departure at the number provided during reservation.

Meet up with your fellow travelers in the heart of San Juan and take a van out to the eastern side of El Yunque National Forest, where your adventure begins. Hike for around 25 minutes until you reach a waterfall, where you can take a refreshing dip or take a rope swing into the water. Hike for another 15 minutes to reach a swimming hole with a natural rock slide. As you explore, listen to your guide explain to you about the history, flora, and fauna of the surrounding rainforest.
After your hiking and swimming adventure, head to a family-owned restaurant to dine on homestyle food (at your own expense) before making your way back to San Juan.

- Safety is our priority, in order for you to enjoy the experience to its fullest we may have to slightly forward or delay your start time after reservations are made, to avoid heavy flow of people and betterment of the experience. The notification will be sent by email the evening prior the tour.
- ** If you're traveling with a group but reserved your space separately, you have to notify us that you're together. The chances of being assigned to different tour guides are high, and changes can't be made on the day of the tour **
- We recommend shoes that you won’t mind getting wet and muddy, that have a good grip and thick sole. Sneakers, water shoes or hiking sandals that cover your toes are the best option. Be mindful that sandals, flip flops, croccs or slides are not allowed as it can be dangerous once wet or muddy.
- If you’re using UBER services you can use “Deli Plaza Loiza (Norte)” **KEEP IN MIND we have no affiliation with Uber nor we have any way to change the location or the names in their systems. The name provided for the meeting point in Uber system can change at any point, confirm location through your map and the location of Norte Shopping Center, San Juan.
- Pictures AREN’T part of this experience, if you’d like to bring your phone with you keep in mind you should have a waterproof pouch in order to protect it as it can get damaged during the excursion. Some guides will take pictures which they will share after the tour is done. It’s not their obligation to send this pictures to you after you’ve parted ways
- OFFICE HOURS: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Fridays 9:00 am - 7:00 pm. Thursday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.
- Food stop WON’T be available for tours at 1:00 pm. Our guests are welcome to bring snacks and water, no alcoholic beverages.

I had so much fun exploring the rainforest! It was so beautiful! We had so much fun going down the rock water slides, jumping off the rocks, and jumping off with the rope! I totally recommend this to everyone! Mario our guide was the best! He was so knowledgeable, nice, and took nice videos of us going down the slides! He also took nice pictures! Thank you Mario for being the best tour guide! You made the event very memorable and fun!

It was amazing. The time my wife and I spend here was worth it. It was a great experience and it definitely showed us a part of Puerto Rico I wouldn’t have been able to see if it wasn’t for this tour!

Viktor was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful throughout the whole tour and made sure everyone was doing ok throughout.
It was unbelievably fun and extremely gorgeous out there and I recommend that you bring some good water shoes or hiking shoes but do know you’ll have to get completely submerged in water.

The meeting location was in a safe area with convenient parking. From there, you board a yellow bus where you meet your driver. Ours was Johnathan, who was very friendly and kept the ride enjoyable with music. The drive can feel a bit long due to traffic, so I recommend bringing snacks for the trip there and back.
Once you arrive at the park, you’ll meet your guide. We had Jeremy, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the plants, very funny, and made the hike both informative and entertaining. The water activities were a lot of fun, and there were plenty of great spots to take photos.
On the way back, the group stops at a local restaurant for lunch. We chose not to eat there because it wasn’t our preference, so if you plan to skip lunch as well, be sure to bring extra snacks.
One tip: bring cash to tip both your driver and guide. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any cash with us, and we felt bad because they both did an outstanding job and definitely deserved it.
Overall, we had a wonderful day. Both Johnathan and Jeremy were excellent guides—friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a great El Yunque experience. Five stars all around!

Hands down one of the coolest experiences we have had. Our tour guide was Jeremy and he was awesome. Made you feel welcome and very helpful throughout the hike. We will recommend this tour to anyone who travels here and will do it again when we come back!

IT WAS SO FUN!! I would definitely do it again. Our guides were Jeremy and Jonathan they were very attentive and funny, Bring change of clothes because everyone is gonna be wet from head to toe! the hike difficulty was medium I would say because there was a little bit of climbing to get to the water slide. but as long as you hold on to the trees and ropes, you’ll be fine! SO FUN made us sad when the tour was over🥹

Hands down the best experience ever. Our tour guide Orlando was amazing, patient and made our experience the BEST. We took our 8 year old niece and Orlando walked her through the entire experience. He gave her the confidence to make it through. You ask her how it was and she says I want to go back and jump off the rocks. I recommend this adventure and Orlando as your tour guide.

This was a fun experience! There wasn’t as much hiking through the rain forest as I originally thought, but we had such a great time! It is a must experience! We went down two natural slides, jumped off a cliff, and swung on a rope swing. The kids had a blast and was a highlight of our time in PR. Daniel was a great guide! We ate lunch at a local spot which was delicious.

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our guide was great. She took pics and explained exactly how to get up the rocks safely. It is a pretty tough hike to get to the top but the slides were totally worth it. I would highly recommend this trip. Family of 4 w/ 2 teenage boys and everyone loved it.

This was a great experience and Orlando, our guide, kept up with communications so we knew exactly what to do and when. Orlando is also very energetic and we loved that in our group! After the hike, we made it to the river where our boys were able to experience a great natural water slide, rope swings, and a touch of cliff jumping into the water. The atmosphere was amazing with other people around cheering you on. This experience was great from beginning to end!

Request chukees (guide) he was great very humble and has a lot of knowledge on the tour. Make sure to try the food and piña colada near the parking, best drinks on Puerto Rico.

My family of 4 a 9 and 12 year old did the tour with Sebastian on 6/25/26, we had an exceptional experience. He was informative and assisted anyone who needed help with climbing. He was energetic and fun. We highly recommend booking. We plan to book next time we are in PR!

Overall this was a great experience. The guides were very helpful and did a good job helping everyone through the excursion. We felt that the description listed left out a few details. To start, the shuttle was a school bus. It was full. The ride is over an hour to the rainforest one way, with music setting off watch decibel alarms. It was quite bumpy and curvy as you approach the entrance to the trail. The bus stopped by the entrance to the rainforest and picked up some others, which is not listed as an option. Had we known that, we would have skipped 90% of the bus ride and been picked up there. This pickup spot is also the same spot as the restaurant for lunch (after the hike), which we would have skipped and gone on our way as the lunch was not included in the price. Bathroom options are very limited at the trail entrance. You cannot bring a backpack on the hike, you have to leave them on the bus, and have to carry any water. Some people brought small water proof bags. The guides keep your phones in a bag at the swim & jump area and return them and allow photos at the end. They also take videos from their phones of your jumps and slides and share them with you later. Wear good shoes with traction, the climbing is steep (vertical) and intense at times and the rocks are slippery. Bring some sandals or flip flops to wear when you get back to the bus. Your feet will be soaked. The guides do a great job assisting, but it would have been helpful to show some videos or photos before the hike so folks could opt out or in and know what they are getting into rather than guessing. They give you an option to opt out, but there is little context. Once you start the claim you are committed. Overall this was a good experience, the guides did a good job where they needed to, but the listing could have been more descriptive.

1. You have to go via a school bus...
2. You are offered to purchase phone water cases...But not told that you can only take one in per family. So we purchased one for no reason.
3. OUR GUIDE WAS GREAT AND VERY HELPFUL.
4. Most of the adventure is time there/back and lunch...only about 2 hours at the water

If you are looking for adventure this is the tour to book! Anthony and his partner guided us through the rainforest making stops to educate wildlife along the way. These men are knowledgeable of the habitat and willing to answer questions.

We never got to experience the rainforest because the driver left earlier than scheduled. We received the run around from multiple drivers, still at the location and left to figure how to obtain refund

For experienced swimmers and not afraid of water. The river levels can rise up without warning and currents will take you if you are not experienced. I say this because I am not experienced but if I would have seen some type of warning on the description, I would not have booked this activity. The tour guides my family, and I had were very nice and yes, they have to be local guides familiar with the forest and know the river conditions but they do not carry any type of emergency supplies, no life saver equipment nor rope to pull a person out of the water if needed in an emergency. I personally felt that the groups formed are too large for one or two tour guides, in my group we were about 24 and two tour guides were with us. The trail is very rocky and slippery, and since it had been raining those days the river levels were rising rapidly while we were in the water. All of a sudden i heard one of the guides yelling to get out of the water because she noticed the water running faster and it did make it hard to get out of the water. I love nature but I don't think I would recommend this activity, because it can get dangerous too fast.

All of our guides are professionally trained and certified in safety procedures, first aid, and emergency response, and they continuously monitor river conditions throughout the experience. When changing water conditions were observed, our guides immediately instructed everyone to exit the river, which is exactly the safety protocol they are trained to follow.
We also provide life jackets for every guest, and their use is mandatory during the water activities. While the rainforest is a natural environment where conditions can change quickly, our team is trained to recognize those changes and act promptly to keep everyone safe.
