We don’t pick up our guests from their accommodations. We’ll meet at Norte Shopping Center in San Juan. Van/bus will be parked at the shopping center parking lot. Your tour guide will contact you before departure at the number provided during reservation.

Meet up with your fellow travelers in the heart of San Juan and take a van out to the eastern side of El Yunque National Forest, where your adventure begins. Hike for around 25 minutes until you reach a waterfall, where you can take a refreshing dip or take a rope swing into the water. Hike for another 15 minutes to reach a swimming hole with a natural rock slide. As you explore, listen to your guide explain to you about the history, flora, and fauna of the surrounding rainforest.
After your hiking and swimming adventure, head to a family-owned restaurant to dine on homestyle food (at your own expense) before making your way back to San Juan.

- Safety is our priority, in order for you to enjoy the experience to its fullest we may have to slightly forward or delay your start time after reservations are made, to avoid heavy flow of people and betterment of the experience. The notification will be sent by email the evening prior the tour.
- ** If you're traveling with a group but reserved your space separately, you have to notify us that you're together. The chances of being assigned to different tour guides are high, and changes can't be made on the day of the tour ** IMPORTANT: Don’t use the “Special Requirements “ field, contact the provider or notify Viator Customer Support directly.
- We recommend shoes that you won’t mind getting wet and muddy, that have a good grip and thick sole. Sneakers, water shoes or hiking sandals that cover your toes are the best option. Be mindful that sandals, flip flops, croccs or slides are not allowed as it can be dangerous once wet or muddy.
- If you’re using UBER services you can use “Deli Plaza Loiza (Norte)” **KEEP IN MIND we have no affiliation with Uber nor we have any way to change the location or the names in their systems. The name provided for the meeting point in Uber system can change at any point, confirm location through your map and the location of Norte Shopping Center, San Juan.
- Pictures AREN’T part of this experience, if you’d like to bring your phone with you keep in mind you should have a waterproof pouch in order to protect it as it can get damaged during the excursion. Some guides will take pictures which they will share after the tour is done.
- OFFICE HOURS: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Fridays 9:00 am - 7:00 pm. Thursday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.
- Food stop WON’T be available for tours at 1:00 pm. Our guests are welcome to bring snacks and water, no alcoholic beverages.
- Running late / Cancelling under 24 hrs prior the tour: Contact your assigned tour guide directly to inform them your ETA, they can give a 5 min grace period if they’re informed. If you arrive late you will be considered a NO SHOW meaning no refund or reschedule will be provided. Cancellations under 24 hrs prior the tour won’t be honored and NO refund will be provided.

I had so much fun exploring the rainforest! It was so beautiful! We had so much fun going down the rock water slides, jumping off the rocks, and jumping off with the rope! I totally recommend this to everyone! Mario our guide was the best! He was so knowledgeable, nice, and took nice videos of us going down the slides! He also took nice pictures! Thank you Mario for being the best tour guide! You made the event very memorable and fun!

As a traveler and somewhat of an adrenaline junkie, this tour was so much fun! It was my cousin and I’s first time to PR, it was imperative we experienced natures fun! The meetup point very easy to find. Our guide Sebas was awesome! He was very informative, answered all questions, he took our pictures (I left my belongings in the van) and just made the hike humorous! Like all the other comments, this is a physically motivated trip! Lots of rocks, small spaces , and of course lots of walking and climbing. Overall 1000/10 experience. If you are in are into nature , a little bit of a challenge along with new experiences book this tour! You won’t regret it! ASK FOR SEBAS!

I couldn’t recommend this hike enough! Definitely challenging, even as someone who is very active and enjoys hiking, but so worth it. Jeremy is a great guide, he was incredibly helpful and caring, and offered such great insights on the landscape in El Yunque. It’s clear he and the team enjoy what they do and truly love Puerto Rico. We got great recommendations from him for places to eat and visit, as well.
What a time we had!! My family and I were off to a rough start, hitting traffic we thought for sure we would miss out. Bryan was kind enough to communicate and wait for us to arrive and we did right on time. We were so grateful. We trailed the rainforest with Jeremy, who stopped along the way with fun facts. He made us feel safe, was always available to help in the tough climbs and then so fun watch him enjoy the slides, jumps and rope swings with us. They then took us to an amazing lunch spot where we not only enjoyed a tasty lunch but where we had the BEST fresh fruit smoothie I have ever had!!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone considering venturing the rainforest!

My friends and I had the most amazing time on this excursion! It’s certainly not for the faint of heart—it’s a difficult hike. Lots of climbing and balancing. Our tour guide Migo was great, super knowledgeable and fun.
The only thing I would mention is to make sure you have a good breakfast beforehand because you won’t be eating for a while and it will take a lot of energy.

The tour was amazing! We went on a water slide, cliff jumping and rope jumping! Our tour guide, Gian, ensured everyone got to the destination safely and on time. He was also knowledgeable of the area, sharing lore about the culture and environment. He even took pictures and shared them with us all. He went above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend this tour package.

Xiani our tour guide was very informative and descriptive of the land. She was very passionate about her craft and even took us on extra adventures.
Only setback was the shuttle bus was about an hour late to pick us up so unfortunately we had to hang around the parking lot until it arrived. Great experience, but plan your reservations for the rest evening accordingly.

Xiani was absolutely awesome, she was very attentive to each and everyone of us in the group! She taught us a bunch of beautiful interesting things about Puerto Rico’s amazing rainforest! 10/10 recommended to have her I traveled with my brother and she took beautiful pictures and videos of us. She also had the best hospitality very humorous!! Love love loved it she was the highlight of the entire day such a fun energetic person to tour with!!

The whole tour was amazing, bus was fun, not too long of a drive and vibes were high. Ashley was a fantastic guide. She was knowledgeable and very fun. And the slides, cliffs and rope swing were soooo fun. Highly recommend

Louis was the Best! We had such a-great time! Couldn't believe we did it. Went down waterfalls, jumped off cliffs, hiked, swam so much fun especially with Louis, he’s got-lots of energy and explained things on every turn and was there to help when needed! He’s awesome would recommend to anyone.

They are very communicative and punctual. The experience AT the rainforest was adventurous, exciting and fun, for someone who is from the island and has been to the rainforst before many times this felt fresh and new. The reason they lose a star is due to the false advertisement of AC, that is a lie. It was hotter inside the bus than outside, I was sweating the entire time it made me sick to my stomach. (If you're going to advertise that you have AC, MAKE SURE that its working)

I had a great time, the tour guides were incredibly attentive and friendly. The instructions and information on the website was clear and accurate. This was an awesome experience highly recommend it. Miguelito was a great tour guide. He told us about some plants while we walked past them which i found very interesting. Plus he was funny. Also, this was hard. Not an easy climb to the waterslides but definitely worth it. Take water. Most of your stuff will stay in the bus. Take watershoes, some girl was doing the hike in white air forces. Don't be like her. I would 1000% do this again. Also, the people who couldn't make the hardest part of the climb to the slides and cliff jumps, still enjoyed the pool so you can do that. My only complaint was that the life vests smelled a little funky (like that old water smell) but i mean thats legit the only thing. Then we had an hour to eat in Luquillo but the beach was so good that we just stayed and took an Uber back.

Absolutely beautiful - this was the best thing we’ve done in PR so far! It’s pretty strenuous, especially if you choose to go up to the natural waterslide. That part of the hike was basically a climb up steep rocks and tree roots, but so worth it! Once up there you take the waterslide down into a pool and swim through an opening in the rocks to emerge in a smaller natural pool and be “reborn in Puerto Rico”, which was a pretty zen moment! The cave jumping and rope swing were also fun, and you can also just stay down below and float in the water to watch if you prefer. On the way up our guide, Marty, showed us a lot of the plant life and talked about the history of the area. And the stop for food later in the day was tasty and felt great after all the exercise!

Great excursion experience for the value. Our tour guide Jesus/Chuky was the best! Very engaging and ensured we were safe. Pretty advanced rock and boulder climbing and hiking to get up to waterfall slides. Super fun and exhilarating. It’s about an hour drive each way. Take the morning excursions so you can add the beach lunch. Ours cancelled last minute so did the 1pm one. We didn’t bring our phones on the excursion like everyone else so Chuky took lots of videos of the action and send via WhatsApp after tour. Nice touch. Amazing experience, highly recommend!!

Definitely make sure you wear proper
Shoes NO slides/crocs and that your fit for the hike. I’d definitely do this again but with no fake nails HAHA.

This experience was definitely one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced. Our tour guide geon was the best. He gave us lots of cool facts about the rainforest and was very helpful during the hike. I will say this hike can be challenging for some people. Make sure to bring a water bottle with you. You’re gonna need it. Geon took plenty of pictures for us and sent them to us free of charge. After the tour we were dropped off on a strip with lots of delicious foods. I will definitely be booking this trip again.
