Had a great time on the tour. Learned a lot and saw alot. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. I would advise to go early to avoid the heat if you can. Also wear comfortable shoes
Kelli_T, May 2026
Very knowledgeable about the area and got to see a lot of Old San Juan. Would definitely suggest the early morning tour, a lot less crowded and not as hot in the day.

The tour was very informative. Our tour guide was full of passion and smart
He was awesome
The pace was a little too fast and I would recommend a short break in the middle( 5-10 minutes)

This tour is a must do for a great orientation and history of San Juan. Fun and very interesting. After the tour you can then chose what area you would like to continue on exploring. Covers history, restaurants, flora and fauna, grave of Ponce de Leone and much more……tour guide David was top notch.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and took time to make sure that we stayed together as a group as the city became busier and busier throughout our tour. He also worked diligently to make sure that we were in the shade when he was speaking - it was quite warm. I would highly recommend - enough information - not too much information. It was the perfect balance.

Overall, good informative walking tour. David was very knowledgeable and personable. I'd recommend if you're looking for a general tour of San Juan. It ended at the fort if you had additional time to explore but was not included in this tour. This experience was exactly what we were looking for and left time to see other things before heading back to the ship.
Sarina_H, Apr 2026
Great tour with an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. Be prepared to walk so wear comfortable shoes.
James_C, Apr 2026

Not recommended for young impatient children. It would be nice to have more details about the tours online before booking.

This tour is a must! Hearing the history and seeing the beauty on this walking tour was exactly what I wanted. This was a great experience!
Glorymer_R, Apr 2026
The tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful, providing insightful answers to our questions.
Morganne_S, Apr 2026
Walking tour was great! It’s long-ish but it’s a really slow to moderate pace but a bunch of up and down hills.
Great background info on the history on San Juan and Puerto Rico.
Note: you won’t tour the forts since those in itself take really long, but the end of the tour is close to El Morro fort so plan to walk there afterwards if you’ve got the energy!
Also- no bathrooms really along the way, so go beforehand. Most restaurants and stores want you to pay for something first before using facilities. The meetup at Starbucks has public bathrooms, though!
Mikaela_W, Apr 2026
Fantastic tour! Definitely recommend! David is truly a consummate professional - illuminating Puerto Rico’s deep, rich history and tying it to modern day. Bonus: you can see plenty of cats along the way. ¡Muchas gracias David!
Kim_D, Apr 2026
Tour started on time, guide was conscious of noise, moving to where the group could all hear. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. This was a perfect tour to see some of old town and historical sights.
Carol_S, Apr 2026

Very informative walking tour. Thank you David! Lots of compliments from my group of friends. We definitely learned a lot about Puerto Rican people and culture.
Michael_N, Apr 2026
The guide was very knowledgeable about Old San Juan. Made our stay enjoyable than just sitting by the pool and wondering snot the history and sites.
JoAnn_C, Apr 2026
This walking tour was very educational. Our tour guide was very informative and made it fun for everyone.
Kayla_L, Apr 2026
Such a fun way to learn about the history of the area! I loved everything about it. It does include some uneven ground walking if you have trouble with that.
Contentos4, Apr 2026
Excellent overview and history of San Juan in general. David Rodriguez is an expert guide, provides facts, but in a very entertaining way. You will have a very interesting walk for 2 hours, if you can imagine that! Highly recommend. And by the way, he is a published author with a great book on Barnes and Noble!
