Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of El Yunque National Park with this half-day tour for visitors with their own rental cars. Relax knowing that you will be led by a professional guide with lifeguard, CPR, and first-aid certification.
Drive yourself to the meeting spot in Luquillo in the morning and continue on to El Yunque, where your entrance and parking fees are already taken care of. Follow your guide along scenic nature paths through the rainforest, while learning about the area’s biodiversity, to a hidden natural playground.
Soak up the scenery, swim, slide down natural water slides, rope swing, and cliff jump. Fresh fruit, snacks, and refreshments will be available. Your guide will also be on hand to provide any necessary instruction and equipment, and to take photos.
Your tour ends back at Luquillo, with the rest of the day free to explore how you want.

- The difficulty level of this excursion is considered to be moderate to strenuous depending on your physical fitness level. It is very important that you are in good physical condition in order to participate and enjoy yourself. The terrain in the rainforest can be muddy, slippery, uneven and include river-wading, climbing large rocks and steep inclines. This excursion is recommended for guests with an active lifestyle

- NOTE: Saturday's tour is longer (approximately 1 more hour) and more strenuous than Sunday - Friday. It's very important that you are able to comply with all of the tour restrictions, have a strong physical fitness level and are able to bring your knees up to your chest.

Renee and Bradley were great tour guides. They were very knowledgeable about the vegetation and helpful throughout the trip. Safety was a priority with this tour, which we appreciated. Helmets and life jackets were required, which in my opinion were necessities due to the slippery rocks throughout the hike. We went with our two children, ages 12 and 9, and they had a blast! Highly recommended!

Adventurous way to explore the natural beauty of Puerto Rico! Parts of the climb to the natural waterslide were challenging, but the guides were there to help you when needed, especially with foot and hand holds. The natural rock waterslide, rope jump an cliff jump were so fun!

Our El Yunke tour with Renee and Brandon was truly one of a kind experience. From the start they were incredibly communicative and provided clear, easy instructions about where to meet, which made a whole process stress-free.
The hike itself was beautiful and a bit physically challenging especially at my age though the guys made it manageable for everyone. Renee and Brandon were attentive the entire time, always offering a hand when crossing tricky rocks and making sure the whole group stayed safe and comfortable.
Along the way they pointed out different plans and vegetation in the rainforest, which added a lot to the experience. The water in the natural pools was refreshing but not too cold and it felt amazing after the hike. Most of my group did the cliff jump.
One thing I really appreciate it was that they took photos throughout the tour and shared them with the group afterward, so we didn't have to risk damaging our phones around the water and rocks. They even surprised us with a delicious fruit snack, which was a perfect treat during the adventure.
Overall, I absolutely recommend this tour. Renee and Brandon were fantastic guides, and experience was memorable from start to finish.
After the tour they even recommended restaurants nearby to try based on our personal preferences. Their disposition and hospitality made the tour memorable.

We had a wonderful time walking through El Yunque stopping a few times along the way to the waterfalls to talk about the native flora. We loved it! We loved jumping off the rocks and sliding down the natural rock slide. Will definitely do again!

This was a very fun experience! It was very strenuous with climbing up and down rocks with some steep and slippery places. However, it was all worth it! Plus our guides were so helpful. They took pictures of us and emailed them, so we didn’t have to worry about our phones getting wet. They gave us snacks and drinks. All around great time!

The entire trip was absolutely amazing! It felt extremely surreal! The views, the trails and the water was something out of a movie! Fantastic experience! Authentic yunque adventure. Definitely will get muddy, but Amauri and Jean have it all figured out. They provide fruit, water and granola during the adventure. At the end they rinse the mud off with a hose. They were very knowledgeable, and extremely safe! We wore helmets and life jackets. Highly recommend!!!!

Super fun tour. I thought it was paced well. My favorite part was the rope swing. Danny and Jean were great! Very friendly and helpful. They gave us some tips for the rest of our trip. I definitely recommend shoes that are good for mud and slippery rocks.

I suggest prior to payment a stop alert asking if a rental car is secure. We were unable to get a rental to accommodate our 6 person family. We could not attention & lost all our money!

What fun this was! The guides were informative, interesting and interested, and funny. The trek up to the water slide is a bit tricky but Jon and Renee were so encouraging! I recommend this tour! p.s. embrace the mud!

It was a very organized tour, our tour guides were very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to the group’s safety., It was so much fun, I never thought how much fun mud can be ( great hike) , the pictures they took were awesome, the snacks were great. We loved this tour!! We went on October 25th, 2024. Our three guides were wonderful, helpful and respectful. The directions to the pick up location were easy to follow and finding our group was no problem. There are bathrooms at the meeting point, which we recommend using before heading into the rainforest. We loved the hike through the rainforest - definitely challenging at times, but that made it all the more fun! Loved the natural waterslides, cliff jumping and waterfalls! If you’re looking for fun and excitement, definitely book this tour! Value for the money was good. The only thing that would make it better would be an opportunity to ride the natural waterslide more than once. Go! You won’t be disappointed!

Bradley was amazing tour guide ! He knew all about the rain forest , the animals, plants and trees. He was super informative and answered all questions. He helped me many times and was very assuring. We got to rock climb and cliff jump. I was definitely afraid but it was a great time and I’m glad we did this tour ! I definitely recommend this rainforest tour !

What was amazing about this tour was that not only did you get to do the natural water slide, but there was also cliff jumping and a rope to swing off of. They also provided fresh fruit while we swam, and then water, beer, and granola afterwards. Our guide, Paola, was seriously awesome. She showed us how to do all the experiences, and as a plus, we got to swim towards the waterfall with her. Overall an incredible and fun experience, especially with friends.
