It is our pleasure to welcome you on our fun filled tour of the most unique pub scene in the Old City of San Juan, Puerto Rico. These spots have a rich history dating back over 500 years. With free flowing drinks, hosts to show you the way, and good vibes, follow a specially crafted route around several iconic bars. Complimentary drinks and shots are included, as is a polaroid shot of the group. The final stop in our destination includes Puerto Rican tapas style food and mixed menu.

Itinerary
Meet your guide and fellow bar crawlers at the lively Calle San Sebastian, at the top of San Juan's historic Old City where the party begins. Spend around an hour at your first stop—El Cafetin, known for its tasty mojitos and tapas, where you'll be served a mojito, free of charge. Then continue your journey through the city, making your way over to Calle del Cristo, another popular stop for dining and drinking.
Throughout the course of the night, you and your fellow revelers will visit three bars in total, spending around 45 minutes to an hour at each, enjoying shots at each stop. One of your stops will even include an hour-long open bar for extra value. After your pub crawl, you can head home or ask your guide to recommend some great spots to continue your night on the town.

So much fun! Great way to see the bar scene in old San Juan and connnect with others in the group. Each bar was close to the other so not much walking and you had the right amount of time at each. Javi (?) our guide was informative and kept the party going.

This experience is nothing like the itinerary describes it. Supposedly we meet at one bar, then casually make our way down the street to other bars. Let's start: Date of Experience: Tuesday, 31 March 2026
Pros: We did get a free drink and/or free shot at the bars. However, definitely bottom shelf alcohol. You can purchase top shelf alcohol on your own at the bar. The vibe/music was awesome. Our guide, Yaya (short version of his name) seemed friendly enough.
We did meet a couple of really good people and had fun talking and dancing with them.
At the third bar we went to we got a Hooka setup. That was very nice. However, our guide was rushing us to leave so he could deliver us to the final place and be done with us for the night. I felt like he should have just left us there especially since we ONLY walked across the street to the next place. Hooka is not cheap and we left it to appease him.
We ordered food at the last bar/restaurant and it was delicious. I do not recall the name.
Cons: We never left the area and all 4 bars were literally next door to each other or across the street from each other. Per the itinerary "wear comfortable shoes - the tour comes with 2 small walks around 5-7 minutes from the top of the old city all the way to the bottom." This was NOT TRUE.
The itinerary also states "the first bar serves Puerto Rican tapas." Another LIE. First of all the first bar was so crowded (not a complaint) all they could do was serve drinks to the lines of people waiting to order.
The itinerary states, " Old San Juan, Calle del Cristo, Calle San Sebastian" as places we would visit bars. Again, the location we were at, we never left the 25 -50 foot radius, as the four bars were next door to each other or literally across the street.
Would I do this again? Probably not because it was too far off from the description on Viator.
Would I recommend it to others? Only if they corrected the itinerary and If it is your first time in Puerto Rico, yes I recommend it. If you have been to Puerto Rico before just go to the areas listed on the itinerary and you will find the bars/party. To be clear, There was nothing wrong with the bars being so close to each other other than it was NOT what was advertised and expected from customers who purchased this bar crawl. Therefore, false advertising.
Bottom Line: I had a good time.

Disappointed. Ive been to several pub crawls and they didn't help u get to know each other or stick around to make sure we're carrying on or making sure we're safe. It was busy, of course but a little effort would go a long way = )

Being 63 years old, my friend and I were mismatched for this event. I have done many bar crawls, but this one was geared toward younger people that wanted to party…not learn. We politely dismissed ourselves after the first stop.
If we had been in our 20s or 30s and was into a party scene where it was ONLY about the drinking, I’m sure we would have had a blast. But may I suggest that the description of the tour that it is clear that this excursion is not about education of the beverage and history of the venue, but about partying. Both are wonderful events, but it keeps people like me from having the wrong expectations. Btw, the host was very kind! I would definitely recommend this excursion to my kids!

This really wasn't a crawl. We went to 3 bars within steps of each other. Host didnt connect with participants or have participants connect. Not worth it.

So fun cool scenes and definitely good pictures you can try other bars don’t just stay stagnant talk to your guide you get pretty drunk at the second spot so don’t worry about coming late to the first spot island time is no rush
