Luis was our very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. He shared lots of interesting information about the rainforest with us- no mosquitoes in El Yunque! Albeni our driver was also great! Highly recommend this tour- leave the driving to someone else and sit back and enjoy!

No restaurant or clean facilities nearby. The tour guide took us down a trail to a swimming hole. Expected more.

The rain forest and scenery are beautiful. The driver was skilled and safe over some very narrow and twisty roads. The tour guide didn't seem very knowledgeable and fell asleep at times during the trip.
None of our group chose to swim in a very clear watering hole. There is no place to change clothes and riding in wet bathing suit for 2 hours wouldn't have been comfortable. The van was nice and there were 8 nice people on the trip. The day was beautiful and the scenery worth the trip.

This was an amazing tour, especially if you don't want to commit an entire day to seeing the rain forest. Juan and Pedro were just fabulous. So accommodating and fun. They made sure everyone on the tour was comfortable and enjoyed themselves.

This was an excellent experience! We had a 2 year old which can be challenging. But this was the perfect experience with thanks to our amazing tour guide. Who even held our child’s hand and walked the trail with him. Which our son was so happy about. We even got to see plenty of fish and wildlife when we were swimming. We want to thank our tour guide for being patient and very helpful and knowledgeable about the rainforest forest. It was a wonderful experience for our young family.

It was such a good time ! It’s perfect if you want to visit but not spend too much time there. We did do a bit of walking so be prepared for that, but other than that, it was an amazing experience.

Juan was incredible...so fun and pointed out everything to us. We had a blast! Loved the tour and lunch afterwards...wished we had Juan for our whole week tour around Puerto Rico

Our tour guide was very , funny, friendly and informative. Some of the tour seemed excessive but for the most parts cool. If I were to visit again I’d probably go on my own

This was one of the best ways to explore the national forest! Juan and Pedro were extremely knowledgeable and enjoyable to spend the day with. Started with an easy 20 minute hike to a river, and stopped at two other beautiful sites. Finished at a local spot off the road where we had some of the best food of our trip! The was a good option for a young individual and an active adult. Would 10/10 recommend, highlight of our trip!

Perfect for anyone looking for a less rugged, less water-centric activity. Swimming in the river is optional, so perfect for those who want to do that, but are traveling with those who can’t or don’t care too. About 30 minute stop for swim but wonderful hike to and from river, plus view the rain forest from the viewing tower and stop at roadside waterfall.
Lunch stop was included, but it is pay-your-own-way. Bring cash for the chicken kebabs hot off the grill. Delicious!
A great way to get a good taste of the rain forest for those not able or inclined to do the waterfall slide/zip line/more intense activities.
Pedro was an outstanding guide-made it do much fun and educational. Juan was a great driver, and texted us the night before to confirm pickup location.

Our family had such an amazing time on this day trip. Our tour guides were warm, knowledgeable and made us feel like we could ask questions and stay engaged the whole time. Our son was in heaven learning about the rainforest's ecosystem and seeing first hand how beautiful El Yunque is!

Our guide Jose was great. Friendly and informative. I wish there was more time to stop along the trail to really observe the surroundings. The path is quite muddy in some places and rocky so I wouldn’t bring anyone with mobility issues or the elderly. Wear old shoes because they will get dirty. There is no place to change into a bathing suit once you get to the water so if you choose to swim you will be wet for the rest of the time. So that’s a personal preference. The place we stopped at for lunch was a roadside stand and the food was great but the workers were not friendly…so just know that going in. It was cheap and yummy though! All in all we had a good time. If we ever come back it might be nice to rent a car and spend the day. It was beautiful though. Don’t miss out on this magical rainforest.

Really great tour! Juan and Pedro did a great job and really took care of us. Easy drive out to the rainforest and great stops when we were there.

An absolutely gem of an experience. The rainforest was beautiful and the tour and company were professional.
Cindy_M, Mar 2026
Your guide is really only the driver and hike guide, although the hiking path is easy to follow alone if you wish. Still, it was helpful to be driven there as the roads are narrow and curvy. Wear a bathing suit! The river is beautiful to swim in. I recommend the tour overall.

Great tour, the kids loved it and we got to see a really cool part of the rain forest. Our guide was great with kids and kept them engaged the whole time

Juan was very considerate and a fun guide! Our group meshed really well and had an awesome time! It was really nice being able to swim in the rain forest and experience nature! And the place we stopped at for food WAS SOOO GOOD! The gift shop next door was cute too. We want to go back to do it again

Tour guide was great. Trip was good. Would recommend to anyone including families with older children.
Rossana_B, Mar 2026
Bring an umbrella or poncho. We caught a rainy day and having that helped!! The experience was incredible and Pedro was very informative.
Richard_F, Mar 2026
This trip was good but we could have went a bit further to see the lower castle and the other water fall.
Kathleen_B, Mar 2026
Our driver and tour guide did their best to keep us entertained, but the tour stops were not partcularly memorable, and I would have rather we had headed back to San Juam than eat the lunch we had to pay extra for.
Carlos_I, Mar 2026
Had a great tour experience. Our guide, Pedro, was personable and informative. Definitely highly recommended.
Linda_G, Mar 2026
The hike is perfect. Not too strenuous and Pedro took his time to ensure we were all OK. The age rage was from college students to grandparents and we were all cared for and checked in with by Pedro. Juan was an aazong driver. The streets are skinny and being an anxious person, I never felt concerned or worried.

Excellent sampler for the rainforest. Short hike that I would rate as moderate. If you have any mobility issues, this tour is not for you. They picked everyone up in a large van at our hotels. So much to see in the 5 plus hour adventure! We stopped at a cool roadside restaurant for lunch and souvenirs. Highly recommend! Oh and a fun guide!

This experience seeing El Yunque was perfect. Our guide, Isaac, Spoke excellent English and knew so much about Puerto Rico and about the shared a lot of information about the rain forest. Isaac seemed to keep us ahead of the crowds and as a consequence we really enjoyed everything about this visit to the rain forest. We had a nice hike though not too long to tire us out. He pointed out all kinds of wildlife and we were able to visit Coca Falls, Yokahu Tower for some great views and a pleasant waterhole which we had mostly to ourselves. A nice bonus was a stop for some local food which was excellent and he had us back on time. This was a great experience and comes highly recommended.

Very enjoyable and educational. It was not too strenuous, and we would definitely do it again! Highly recommended.
Greg_P, Mar 2026
2 mile hike. Half up mountain.
Can’t “‘swim” In waterfall. No natural waterslides just rocks. No rope swing
Cynthia_E, Mar 2026
Short hike and the guide is very talkative and knowledgeable. Loved the tower, wayerfall and swimming hole.
Tali_A, Feb 2026
Good tour for seniors who are not as easy on their feet - Pedro is wonderful man and helped my 80 year old mom every step of the way. Would have liked to learn more history and facts about the locations. Lunch stop not clean.
Kevin_M, Feb 2026
El Yunque was definitely worth the trip. It is beautiful and unique.
Was a bit disappointed by the tour. It consisted of a few stops on the bus- all places we could have visited on our own. The tour guide was enthusiastic, but didn't share much specific information. I would have liked the tour to be more informational. Swimming in the river was the best part of the tour, so don't pass it up. This tour is OK if you want to be led through the park...
Sherry_B, Feb 2026
I loved how fun the tour guide was and very informative. I had so much fun. We stopped at a local place for lunch the food was so good. We got to go swimming in the stream with crystal clear water. We took pictures in front of a beautiful waterfall. Our tour guide enjoyed himself with us he was really good with the kids too very attentive and made sure everyone was safe.
