Taylor's Port have been producing classic port wine in Porto since 1692—so there's no better place to try a tipple or two during your vacation in Portugal. Venture into their 300-year-old cellars to learn about the history and production of port wine, then sample a variety of their produce. An audio guide provides plenty of insight as you explore.

Good tasting, probably don't need to book in advance

I booked this in advance but might have been more expensive than just booking at Taylors. I had a reservation for 4:30 and was running tight on time, due to our train so I messaged and asked if we could move back 1 hour but never heard back. It would have been fine to come later as it was not busy. The tour has a ton of information, maybe too much information. More time on the actual tasting and a small snack for the tasting would be nice.

This is not a personal, intimate wine tour. It’s an audio guided tour basically through a museum of Taylor port wine history. However it was interesting and a good value for the money.

Great self guided tour with port tasting in the lovely garden in the end. Some of the audios could be shortened a bit but that was minor. An enjoyable experience and great value.

Informative and fun

Really good experience. The audio headset was good but a bit difficult to rewind. The information was good and the route informative. The tasting at the end was great. The waitress explained each of the 3 ports. Only blip was that it took about 3/4 to get service for food.
