What a great experience. Nadia and Paulo were the perfect hosts, caring for all our needs in an exceptionally warm and friendly way. Beautiful cruise up the river past all the bridges then out into the ocean for the sunset. Drinks and snacks were promptly served. A truly magical evening. This tour is not to be missed. Highly recommended.

Incredible experience! What a lovely boat with amazing hosts. We loved cruising the river, seeing Porto from the water, and tasting some fine port wines.
Nadia and Paulo were extremely hospitable and even gave my two-year-old his own "wine" (juice) and snacks to share in the experience. They also made sure to have a life jacket available for him, which was important to us.
Could not recommend this enough. Lovely, intimate experience where you're treated as one of the family. Major plus was having one of the best port tastings you could ask for!

We didn’t have an idea of how the tour would be and were happily surprised. We were greeted by our hosts Nadia and her husband and immediately were presented with warm reception. When we were onboard were accommodated and made feel as if it were the boat owners and they were there to sail boat for us while we relaxed and took in the scenery. They provided a delicious port wine tonic cocktail as a welcome drink which was absolutely delicious and refreshing. The provided a lot of history of the region and six bridges on the Dourous River. We were also presented with a great charcuterie board and other delicious port wine tonic. They had warm blankets to shelter us from the cold weather. A very lovely and hospitable couple. Thank you both for giving us such an amazing experience.

This was THE best port tasting experience I had (I did 3 while in Porto). This husband and wife team really know what they are doing. She thoughtfully paired the different ports with foods that enhanced the flavor. No boring lectures here. And as we passed landmarks little anecdotes were told, very endearing. Even though there were no sunsets to be seen, this is THE port tasting experience in Porto. Thank you Nadia and Paulo!

We had a wonderful time on this sunset boat tour in Porto!
We sat on the outside seating on the boat and were very comfortable, when it got colder we were immediatly offered blankets. It felt like the whole experience was well planned and thought through.
The views of the city from the water were stunning, and the experience was made even better with a delicious cheeseboard, drinks, and a lovely port wine tasting. The couple who run the tour are so warm and welcoming, and they also share interesting explanations about the landmarks along the river, which made the ride even more special. Generaly the whole experience felt very personal and authentic – truly a highlight of our trip and highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on the boat ride! Nadia and Paulo were so kind and amazing to my partner and I! They provided wonderful drinks and a delicious snack platter! The boat ride was so relaxing and watching the sunset was amazing! They even provided us with cozy blankets to get comfortable! We saw all the highlights and bridges and Nadia was extremely knowledgeable of all the history! I Overall was an amazing experience and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to do this!

Kind, fun hosts with deep knowledge of Porto history. The husband-wife team were amazing guides and were attentive to our family and answering our questions and sharing the rich history of Porto with us. They also provided fantastic drinks and snacks as we enjoyed the beautiful sites on our tour of the river. Our two teen girls also enjoyed it and said it was one of their favorite activities. Highly recommend seeing Porto from this cruise!

Nadia & Paulo are kind and generous hosts! My husband and I spent a beautiful afternoon with them cruising the Douro River in their small boat. Nadia seamlessly switched between English and Portuguese, providing explanations for us and the other couple. We enjoyed drinks and snacks and she brought us blankets when it got cooler outside. Forget the big boats - this tour is the way to see Porto through the eyes of local who clearly loves the city.

Nadia and captain Paulo provided us the most incredible experience of our entire Portugal trip. As hosts, they are genuine people: friendly, accommodating, and enthusiastic. Our two-hour cruise was a safe and luxurious experience that seemingly made us the envy of the river on that beautiful day. This tour and experience plus Nadia was fantastic! We booked small group tour and it ended up being just the 2 of us. They don’t like to squeeze in people. We went in winter time and it was wonderful. Nadia was so helpful and had great stories and history of bridges and Porto overall! We had wonderful drinks and cheese plate homemade. She was very attentive and overall a perfect day and experience. We’d do it again and definitely recommend!!!

It really doesn’t matter what the weather is this is the best way to take in the city and sample some genuine local hospitality. Nadia and Paulo bring sunshine to any day and their knowledge of the city as locals makes the experience super special. The food and wine including preserves made by Nadia’s mother were a great treat.
I would highly recommend this experience.

Amazing tour! It was only two of us my husband and I. Tour guide and the Capitan were so welcoming. It felt like we met our old good friends. Views were amazing, we were sitting in front of the boat relaxing, listening the impressive history and enjoying Fado music. In addition they offered warm blankets, also they treated us with delicious homemade snacks and sangria! It was unforgettable experience!

This was our last day / afternoon at the end of a wonderful week in Porto, and what a fantastic way to spend our final moments with Nadia and Paulo on there boat.
The day started out a little wet and Nadia contacted us early to ask if we wanted to start a little later than we booked, so we could take advantage of the better weather a bit later. We did this, and the afternoon was perfect, blue skies, warm sun and a gentle breeze on the river, perfect conditions for a relaxing 2 hour cruise.
Although we hadn’t booked out the whole boat, by luck we were the only couple on board, so we had a lovely time, the hospitality from Nadia was excellent, drinks and wine flowed easily, along with some tasty snacks, cheese, prosciutto, olives, bread, melon. This river cruise was the perfect end to our break in Porto!
You can do the 6 bridges cruises on the big boats and a bit cheaper, but it won’t come close to comparing with this trip!

Who would want to be on one of the boats that has 40+ people?? Rather you could enjoy this very special tour with a few people, light snacks, and wine. We were lucky enough to be the only 2 on this trip however, the boat would have comfortably fit another 4-6. It was so relaxing to spend 2 hours on the river, appreciating Porto and Gaia from a completely different view. We highly recommend this tour; it will be a highlight of our trip.

We genuinely had the most incredible experience with Nadia and Paolo. They made my whole family feel so welcome, provided delicious sangria on arrival and charcuterie snacks too! The boat was super comfortable, with big cushions at the front to take in the views. We booked the sunset time, and were taken out to the ocean for the best view. Our hosts were so hospitable and lovely, would absolutely recommend!
