The six Bridges tour was absolutely amazing. The weather was perfect. The company was even greater, I got to meet and enjoy such nice couples. We had such a great time they invited me to go out to dinner with them which of course I said I would and we continued the evening. The captain David and Sophia were great. I love their energy and David was so informative of Porto and you could tell they were really passionate about their town. It was an amazing evening loading down the door river watching a beautiful sunset and drinking Port wine. They also provided popcorn and chips and blankets to stay warm. If you wanted, I would highly recommend this cruise and David and Sophia as they truly made this excursion so enjoyable.

We loved our 6 1/2 Bridges Tour (one is under construction). Our Captain and First Mate were great and the boat was very comfortable. There were only 8 of us, so there was plenty of room and fun to talk to other travelers. This was a step up from the bigger boat tours with 30+ people, or the 50 minute boat tours and we preferred it (and there was a W/C on board). If you are considering a bridges tour- treat yourself- it wasn't much more than the cheaper options, but was so much more special!
This is the BEST way to see Porto, if you are tired of walking or want to just have a relaxing part of your day this is the tour for you. Spending over two hours with two wonderful hours on a luxury boat with two wonderful guides telling you all about Porto really makes you feel like you are living the life of luxury. Ensure that you plan to have dinner in Gaia post tour to make the most of your journey out there.

We had a wonderful time on our cruise! While a lot of people had booked, they split us up into smaller groups to go on the boats, which made the experience better. Our boat pilot/guide, Eduardo, gave a wonderful tour of the bridges and was clearly having fun himself. His knowledge of the history of Porto shone through! Eduardo's co-pilot, Barbara, was also great.
This was a fabulous experience! It was a little hard to find exactly where we needed to be to get on the right boat, but once you figure that out, it was all great. Our guide was great ( sorry, I don’t remember his name!) and the whole experience was very chill and relaxing and beautiful. We have seen many sunsets in our lifetime, but the sun setting over the north Atlantic, as we crossed from the river, past the seawall into the Atlantic, with all of the bobbing yachts was absolutely breathtaking. Hey, once in a lifetime kind of memory. Definitely recommend.
Where can I start- I think with the weather…
The forecast was just not good- rain and rain and more rain!! I emailed the company through Viator about 7am the morning of our experience, and they were extremely helpful emailing back within the hour, saying they were set up well for rainy conditions but it was my choice if we still wanted to go ahead, move or cancel the experience. We chose to go ahead and I’m so grateful we did!
There were 8 of us 4 adults and 4 children, we were the only ones on the boat, which had a lovely inside lounge area with windows to see out, carpets, table, a loo- everything you could need for the poor outside conditions.
We did get some dry spells and the guys got us straight outside and up on the top deck with blankets and the most gorgeous veiw. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and full of local information about places to eat and visit when we later went to Porto!
We were in and out a few times due to the weather, on our inside time we were given green wine and white port to try (adults only) the kids were given water and juice. It was a brilliant way to spend 2 hours, the 2 guys who took us were so fun and friendly and a great time was had by young and old!
Would definitely recommend and don’t let bad weather put you off!
I was reluctant to book a "tourist" event but thought my mother in law would enjoy. It was GREAT! Touristry- absolutely. So what. It was a beautiful day and it was awesome seeing Proto, Gaia, and the bridges from the river. The weather was perfect that day. The staff of Leçaodouro were great. The were very friendly, informative about the bridges and the surrounding areas of the Douro. Mota was great. The wine was decent. .
There were a total of 7 passengers on the boat. I guess the only negative would be is how interactive you want to be with strangers. There are 3 areas on the boat: the bow (it was beautiful and I loved sitting up there), seats in the stern, and then seats on the bridge. Different views and experiences.
All in all a great trip that I would do again.
Book in advance it’s popular! Sit out the front for best sunset views. Perfect hosts with English speaking guides. Get your camera ready you will be wowed if you get the perfect sunset evening

Our experience was awesome. Even on a cloudy day, the sunset was beautiful. Our skipper, Jose, and our stewardess, Sophia, we're fantastic guides and really made the experience for us!
Our family loved the seven bridges tour in Porto. It was a highlight of the trip! We did the 5:90 tour and it was magical. It was warm with the sun dipping. The ride was pleasant and comfortable for 5 adults on the front of the boat.. Highly recommend!

This sunset cruise on the Douro River was delightful. Anna was a lovely host, the boat captain made sure to pause so we could get the best photos and the boat was very comfortable. Strongly recommend.
Amazing time! You go under all the bridges, see all the unique neighborhoods on the river, and are told about the history behind them. Sunset was beautiful and thankfully the waves were pretty calm so a very relaxing sail!!! On top of that, top-tier staff!! I booked this last minute as a solo traveler and I met wonderful people who were also on the tour. 10/10!!!
If you’re in Porto area this is a must! The staff was incredible, they took great care of us and there was plenty of room on the boat for us all to enjoy. Mica was very sweet and overall an amazing experience :)

It was fun to see Porto & Gaia from a boat and see all 6 of the bridges (you go under 5 of them), and see the 7th one being built. The green wine was delicious. It was pretty chilly on the sunset cruise & the blankets were a nice touch. I would recommend this tour.
We had a delightful evening! There were 10 of us, all from America, so visiting was easy. There was a heavy fog roll in from the west just before we started this tour. Which killed the sunset. But the crew did a great job of giving us some history of Porto and Gaia as we went along.
Fabulous trip, I would highly recommend, pedro was super helpful in letting us amend due to poor weather. Eduardo and Matta were excellent, taking good care of us all and both super knowledgeable about all of the area sharing lots of insights and facts… they made the trip fun and memorable.
Jose and Motor were the best tour hosts!!! Genuinely so kind, hospitable, and knowledgeable about the history of Porto & Gaia. They had beverages, snacks, and blankets for us! All the things to make the experience comfortable and memorable. It was one of our favorite experiences, and would highly recommend! The sunset was absolutely stunning, lots of breathtaking views & an opportunities to capture photos. Really comfortable and spacious seating. They had some really great food suggestions as well that ended up being our favorite culinary experiences we had during our entire time in Porto area.
We had a 2 hour Douro 6 bridges river cruise and had a great time. The guides were very knowledgeable and extremely passionate about Porto.
