Santiago was wonderful...

Santiago was wonderful but he said to me “had I known You were gluten free I would chosen different food stops”. And yet I told them when I set it up. I think I should be compensated as this is incredibly annoying since I told when I booked it and after they cancelled the progressive dinner tour.

We enjoyed getting a sample of typical food and drink from non-touristic restaurants in Porto. Since the portions were small, we were able to have a small taste of many items we might not have ordered as a single entree without knowing if we would like it. From the Bacalhau to the Ginja shot, it was a great learning experience. My favorite was the Francesinha.) Our guide, the smiling Santiago, led us to several places - some with lovely gardens and tables outside their back doors. He was open to any and all questions, and very friendly.
