Jorge was an excellent guide, really interesting and entertaining. We learnt so much more about Porto through this tour
Pedro is an excellent tour guide. He is friendly, speaks clearly, has so much interesting information about Portugal and especially Porto.
The walk is well paced, coffee break included and we really enjoyed the experience.

Main sights around historical centre. Does not include river or Villa de Gale.
Natalia was very knowledgeable.
Our guide was delightful. Ciuin(sp), annd Irish chap established a friendly atmosphere among the group and genuinely found ways to keep everyone engaged. He was personable, knowledgeable, and approachable. Highly recommend the tour and see if Ciuin is available.

Pedro was amazing! He’s from Porto. He knows the history and all the places very well. He even went above and beyond to answer all the questions from the tour group well past the allotted time. I would do it again with him if I come back or do other tours if I have time during my stay.
We had a fantastic walking tour of Porto today with Natalia! She was absolutely brilliant — friendly, knowledgeable and so passionate about the city. She brought Porto’s history and stories to life while showing us some of the best sights, and we learned so much along the way.
Natalia was also great fun and made the whole tour feel relaxed and personal. She gave us some really useful recommendations for places to eat and visit during the rest of our stay, which was a lovely bonus.
We had a great walking tour with Harold. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and considerate. It was a really good introduction to Porto. He not only told us about the history and the buildings, he also gave us great information to enhance our stay in Porto.
André gave us an incredible tour. So much drama, passion and history. Captivating throughout. Don't miss out!
Arrive early so you aren’t holding up the group! Harold was very informed about the history, so really made a difference to the tour. I recommend you do this to early in your visit so you have a back to build on.

The guide, Jorge Lopes, was great knowledgeable and accommodating to those who ask a lot of questions (me). He also picked a route that wasn’t overly challenging for those with some physical constraints.
About 1/2 way into the tour you have a chance to use the restroom, get a beverage or a bite to eat.
Harry was very knowledgeable about the history of Porto. 😺
Diogo was very informative. He really knew his stuff and always added some levity.

You book the tour through Viator, but it is just a booking fee. You then pay the guide at the end of the tour what you feel they should get. Viktoria was our guide, an American living in Lisbon. She was fun, looked after the group well, friendly and very informative. Considering the layout of Porto, the tour was not too strenuous. There are other tours that she does, including the Ribeira district, so it is not a complete tour of Porto, but it turns out that we did not really get to see this part anyway, so perfect for us.

Guide was quite knowledgeable about the history of the city and the country. He is a good storyteller who creates suspense and uses it to pique curiosity and teach about Portugal. Great job!
Jose was an excellent tour guide who knew SO much about Porto. We really enjoyed our tour. We were shocked by how many people just walked away without tipping the guide. Although this is a “Free Tour”, these guides work hard for your tip. Don’t be cheap people! Tip the guide especially when they are excellent!

My 11 year old found it a little boring but he hung into the end.
Our guide was very good very honest and totally committed to his work bing water and snacks and the guide was able to keep us out the severe heat as much as possible
We stayed at the river’s edge and met at the top of the city. Getting to the starting point was the hardest part.
Viktoria was fun and engaging, bringing the city and country’s history to life.
There is so much to see and do, one tour is not enough. Book early in the morning to avoid the heat and crowds.

Harold was an amazing guide for our Porto walking tour! His knowledge of the city's history, culture, and hidden gems was incredible, and he shared it all in such an engaging and expressive way.
It was a very hot day, but Harold was thoughtful throughout the tour, making sure our group of six could stop in the shade whenever possible, which made a huge difference.
His enthusiasm and energy were infectious—it was clear he genuinely enjoyed showing us around Porto and making sure everyone had a great experience.
At the end of the tour, he shared a QR code with his personal recommendations for food, drinks, and things to do. We followed three of his restaurant and bar suggestions afterward, and every one of them was fantastic.
