Excellent time painting and we all have a wonderful souvenir to take home! Easy - anyone can come home with a beautiful tile. English speaking.
It was very fun! The event team was great explaining everything and checking up on you. Easy level painting - but can pick a more challenging design if more experienced. And you take home a beautiful tile!! Definitely going again.
Highly recommend this class, very patient and knowledgeable instructors, nice facility and yummy traditional cocktails.

Fun! Two hours will fly by. The staff are kind and encouraging. I am a terrible painter but it turned out quite nicely.
This was a great experience in Porto. The staff helped everyone pick their design, provided tips and tricks to painting the tiles, helped fixed errors and smudges and ensured the finished projects were all great souvenirs.
I was so happy we decided to do this!!! The girls that worked there made it funny, fun and easy! The best part (for me) is that you don't have to be an artist for it to turn out brilliantly and you have the cutest souvenir at the end as well as a newfound respect for tile work. Definitely highly recommend. Bring some extra cash to have it encased in a cork trivet for traveling and for some of the extra goodies they have for sale at the studio!
Fun way to make your own souvenirs, lots of templates to choose from and lots of help and instructions given. I’m not great at art but still enjoyed the activity. Felt like cocktails in the description is a little deceiving as we were only given one drink for the whole 2.5 hours.
We had a great time! Neither my husband nor I are artists, so I was worried our tiles wouldn't look great. The workshop provides tile templates and tracing paper to make the process very easy. We had a great time and love our tiles! We were able to draw, paint and walk out with our finished tiles in just 2 hours. And now we have a beautiful handmade souvenir of our trip!

Fun activity, but the time to complete the painting was quite limited. Make sure not to pick a design that will take too long.
You will receive your fully finished glazed tile at the end of the class, which means you do have to wait a while (about 20 minutes) after finishing with your painting, in order for the glazing to be completed.

We had a great time painting and sipping! A little stressful when hoping i5 would turn out well and they'd did!It was such a fantastic experience spending time at that spot. The location is convenient and the studio has a welcoming vibe. Great variety of art options available to work with. Everything turned out looking beautiful in the end. It is definitely a wonderful keepsake for our trip!

This was a unique experience and fun to learn about tiles, their history all while creating a take home item as a keepsake. The group was somewhat large but they had enough staff walking around to assist throughout.

This is an excellent and fun class. I am not an artist by any means but the team really helped me get through this class. This is great for couples, families, friends and singles. Bea, Maria, Fabio and Luiza were very fun and encouraging. They also make great drinks! Thanks for a great experience and book this class.

Solo or with friends, the staff here take care of everything. Just follow the instructions and enjoy the experience! It's fun and educational. It's great that they have patterns to chose from / use as inspiration, and that you can leave with the finished product. They offer to protect it with a padded backing or a cork frame. There is a gift shop at the entrance with a variety of cute items.

I took a tile painting class, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had.
From the very beginning, we weren’t given clear instructions or properly shown what we were supposed to do. While we were painting, the people guiding us suddenly told us that we only had 20 minutes left until the class ended. We felt extremely rushed and, as a result, we weren’t able to finish our tiles properly. What was even more disappointing was that we were taught the wrong technique. At one point, the instructor told me to paint my tile with a marker. When I ran out of it, he then told me to go back to using paint. The whole process was confusing and stressful, and I never felt like I was properly guided. I came to this class hoping to create something special that I could take home as a gift and a memory from my trip. Instead, I left feeling disappointed and sad about the final result. The experience caused me a lot of unnecessary stress. I really wish the class had been better organised and that we had received clear, consistent instructions and enough time to actually enjoy the experience.

Graças às tecnologias, posso lhe provar que eram 20h50 (a aula deveria terminar às 20h) e você e a sua filha estavam tranquilamente sentadas a pintar ainda. O que reflete bem que a equipa não pressionou nem a mandou embora. A técnica usada consigo é a técnica usada com todos e Graças a Deus muito apreciada.
Se a senhora encontrar outra aula igual a esta com 1 professor e 3 assistentes avise-me e se mesmo assim acha pouca assistência, então é porque a senhora precisaria de uma aula privada e não mista.
Temos professores e assistentes muito experientes, o que não conseguimos é agradar a todos.
De qualquer forma, guardaremos a SUA opinião.

It’s super friendly and in a really lovely old part of town - the team are amazing and the shop is also beautiful I highly recommend it and you get a guaranteed beautiful tile at the end with mounting options and drink options

I have mixed reviews about my experience. The workshop is lovely and all the hosts were friendly and experienced. As a solo attendee, I was sat by a couple who didn't speak to me the whole time and only engaged with themselves in their language, so that felt isolating. The painting itself was fine and the teachers were really helpful with hints and tips. Apart from the water (which was free) we were only given 1 alcoholic drink, which I feel is very short changed compared to similar experiences (I had attended a pastel del nata workshop with another company and the drinks were free flowing). Depending on the design you pick it can take some time to complete - as a result I was the remaining few that finished late and when the tile was glazed, it came back with small blotch marks right in the centre which I feel just made the tile look messy. There was then a small upsell on getting the tile corked for protection, bear in mind the options for this are cash only or Revolut. Despite high hopes, I was overall disappointed with this experience and would consider other operators.

When we seat customers, we prioritize those who are alone, and we seat them together, but that only happens when there are several customers alone. If you were the only one, we can’t do that. Another thing we don’t do is group people by countries; the idea is not to think about that, and people get to know each other naturally. If there was a couple next to you, what’s our fault? If you like to travel alone, you’ll probably have to understand these factors.
Drinks are not limited to just one; when you finish yours, please feel free to order another. I’m sure no one has ever denied you a drink.
The cork is a product sold separately, which you only buy if you’re interested; otherwise, we always offer packaging.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. This was a very well organised and delivered, novel, interesting and fun experience. A good group size gave the opportunity to meet other tourists over a shared experience and you get to take home your very own self made souvenir. Thank you we really enjoyed it.

This was a lovely experience and a great souvenir to take home. It’s not an intimate atmosphere but the staff were super nice. Adults received cocktails and the kids received mocktails which was a very nice touch. I took one star down because they wouldn’t wrap my tiles even though they have plenty of bubble wrap for the items they sell. They advise me to just put the tiles wrapped in clothes in the suitcase when we fly. Since we had a long day of sightseeing in front of us and I didn’t want to risk the tiles the kids worked so hard on, I opted to buy the cork frames they sell for 5 euros each.
