This was a great cooking class! We wanted a more in depth experience than pastel Antas and we mad a pastry appetizer, main dish was cod, eggs & potato and a French toast dessert. Porto spritzer & wines.

      My friends and I had a wonderful experience in a cooking class in Porto, Portugal. Portugal at the table, led by Chef Tania was fun and informative. Chef Tania walked us through the preparation and cooking of 3 Portuguese dishes. Her husband Tomas shared his knowledge of wine as a served us wine and food pairings. Their daughter Barbara assisted them. This wonderful family made us feel at home with them and my friends and I rank this as one of our favorite experiences of our trip to Porto. We highly recommend their services. It was an absolute delight meeting them.

      This cooking class was an incredible experience from start to finish. It was so hands on, informative, and full of helpful tips that made it both fun and educational. We prepared several delicious dishes and enjoyed amazing wines paired with each course, which made the experience even more special. They also surprised my daughter with a sweet birthday celebration, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everything about this class was warm, welcoming, and memorable. Highly recommend!

      My husband and I had an EXCELLENT time! Our head chef and teacher had studied at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, but was from Portugal. She was able to teach us some really important basics to Portuguese cooking (and cooking in general) while helping us create elevated flavors and yummy dishes. It’s clear they’ve put a lot of time and effort into creating an experience for you to connect and enjoy the company of others taking the class, as well as learning about the local cuisine. Cannot recommend enough!

      The cooking class we took with Portugal at the Table was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like part of their family. Tomas, Tania, Barbara, and Mateo were gracious hosts. You could tell they loved cooking and sharing it with others. All of the food was portioned and prepped before we got there. Each cooking station had its own burner and all utensils that were needed. As soon as we finished, items were taken from the station and cleaned for us. Tania would guide us through cooking each item and Tomas would explain wine as well. The food was absolutely delicious as well as the wine. We are so thankful for this opportunity to spend time with this lovely family. It is one we will always remember!

      We spent the evening cooking traditional Portuguese food with Tania and Barbara. They were welcoming, knowledgeable and personable. We learned new techniques as well as delicious new dishes that we will be able to make at home. Great experience and highly recommend!
