The tour operator never returned answers to our questions and didn’t meet us. We toured all of Pompei by ourselves. We purchased a book with maps and info from a local and actually had a great time. The tour operator did not refund our money, either. Do not recommend.

We had a knowledgeable and interesting guide who brought the tragic story of the eruption to life for us, but saved enthusiasm for sharing the art in the villas. Highly recommended! Some unfortunate communications issues before the tour were quite erased by the event itself!

Piacevole giornata all'insegna della storia. La nostra guida Simone e' stato davvero coinvolgente ed esaustivo nelle spiegazioni. Per un problema dovuto all'agenzia si è trovato a dover svolgere tutta la visita inglese (il gruppo era misto) ma non abbiamo avuto nessuna difficoltà a capire. In ogni caso era disponibile a ripetere in italiano qualora ci fossero dei dubbi. Giornata magnifica!
