The best group tour we have been on since we have been traveling both at home and abroad .
Driver was also great. Well done Carlos and Miguel! The tour encompassed a variety of venues, plentiful and authentic lunch not to mention the port tasting experience! The tour was informative and fun! Highly recommend it!

Wonderful experience! Highly recommended. Miguel is knowledgeable, reliable, great driver, has great sense of humor... The our is organized nicely and curated for perfect Douro immersion. My favorite was boat tour! - Do not skip it! So grateful for Miguel and his guidance, as well for all the team mebers: the captain of the boat and anotheer guide - Tony who filled our trip with laughs! These are not tours or random people you meet - they are core memories of Douro!

Great tour! We took a 1.5 hour bus out to the Duoro Valley, stopped at a lookout point and then to a vineyard. Our boat was really fun as well! I’m glad we got the train part of the way back. Jesus was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the area. Definitely recommend!

An excellent tour and a wonderful day. The train ride, the boat trip, lunch and the vineyard visit were all fabulous and so was our tour guide Carlos. Definitely worth taking this trip!

We were fortunate to have Vitor as our guide and Miguel as our driver - what a fantastic team they are! Both smiley, fun and welcoming, they were fully engaged with us the entire time. 😍 The tour in itself is lovely being a range of transport with beautiful views. We felt safe on the minibus on some very winding and steep roads through a mountainous area. If we could give more than 5 stars we would!

A brilliant trip by mini bus, boat and train which was well organized. The guide Jose and driver Maguel were both informative and entertaining. The food was delicious and the wine went down well.

Manual was a FABulous tour guide. Super knowledgeable and very warm and friendly. He made everyone comfortable and made sure all our needs were met. The tour itself is lovely and really gives you a sense of the beauty and importance of the wine country, its cultural impact to Portugal and the world. The boat tip was gorgeous and fun! I highly recommend this experience!

Great experience. Exactly as advertised. We had a comfortable ride with 20 other folks. Well coordinated — no time wasted. Comfort stops at every opportunity. Victor, our guide made this all happen with skillful navigation by Marseilles.
Tip — make single reservation for your group to avoid being separated.

This trip is a gift for your senses. It’s not only the excellent wine, but the valley itself, lush in its natural beauty and dramatic in its mountainous landscape. Victor, our excellent guide is instantly familiar, a consummate showman with heart. Lunch was perfection, locally provisioned and lovingly prepared. You can’t miss this value. It will do your heart good.

Very informative,relaxed and professional
We all really enjoyed the day,it was only a small group which gave everyone space to enjoy the tour and surroundings.
The tour guide had good english and made it very interesting,the train was only short but the boat trip was longer with lots of bubbly.
The only down sides were the wine tasting was early,lunch options not to everyones taste..fish with the head&bones,sadly veal😢
Veg option was salad&potatos so not much food to soak in all the alcohol.

An excellent day seeing the beautiful Doura valley. We were unaware it would involve so much driving in the minibus but the tour of the vineyard, the train & the boat trip were amazing. The alcohol flowed freely. Lunch was average - traditional Portuguese food which may not appeal to all! It would have been better if the guide had given more information as we drove. She was speaking but sitting in the back we could not hear st all. A lovely day but could have been better.

Catalina was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable of the area. She also was a lot of fun. The Douro Valley was so beautiful and a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of Porto (though the city is great of course). The lunch was amazingly good as well. Highly recommend!

This is a full day of wine and port tasting, a lovely boat ride and meaningful stories by our wonderful host Victor. Nicely paced and included a delicious lunch. Victor capably guided us along for an enjoyable day.

They left without us! We couldn't reach the tour operator by phone, Viator tried and they never picked up. We were on time, but a bit lost. We paid over $300 for this full day trip, so you would think they would have called us when we couldn't find them. Turns out we were only 1 block away. I would like a refund.

This tour was fun and informative. The scenery was beautiful. The port tasting was fantastic, and the boat ride was enjoyable. A delicious lunch was included! I would definitely recommend this tour.

Due to weather conditions prior to the trip we ere unable to to engage with the railway or boat aspects of the experience. However Viator went out of their way to ensure that we were able to enjoy the Douro valley, wine tasting and excellent lunch stop. We went by mini bus instead and enjoyed two wine tasting stops. These were the actions of a company you can trust.....

This was by far my favorite tour of my itinerary. Our guide Antonio was the best… very sweet, respectful and very knowledgeable . The drive to Douro valley was awesome in a really nice vehicle. The entire wine tasting experience , the boat ride, lunch and the coolest train ride made this tour very special. Worth every penny we paid i We were really well taken care of. And had a truly fabulous experience .

This should be on your bucket list as it’s hard to put into words the beauty and immensity of this wine region. We traveled in early November and the autumn leaves made it very special. Our driver (Victor) was lovely, informative and made the visit magical. Highly recommended.

Our guide Pedro was very impressive. His knowledge of the area and personal perspectives were a welcomed addition to our experience.
Miguel was our driver. His ability to drive during challenging fog and rain conditions was incredible.

Boat tour was fun and lighthearted. Lunch was wonderful, plenty of food for all and lots of variety.
