I do not understand why the ticket could not be delivered sooner than 24 hours before the entry date. It caused stress. The info about audio portion was separate from the entry pass and I did not see it. I ended up buying a separate audio tour offered by the museum.
The tour was fantastic. Xi took us from the bottom to the top of the museum and explained the development of the art with expertise and ease. He showed us what to look for and ended by leaving us to our own devices on 5th floor with Monet and VanGogh. Great tour.
Anna was a great guide. Very in depth knowledge of the art and the museum itself. Definitely recommend this tour.
This museum was incredible. In addition to permanent collections they had a two large exhibits of Renoir that were fascinating. The had wonderful paintings of impressionists. Bonus being able to see Rodin museum as well. Well worth the cost.
Because they offer times, this is a misleading experience. This was an time regular ticket and the fact that they marketed it with specific times is not accurate. The contact person reached out and said we could actually go anytime after I purchased the ticket.. I don’t recommend if you want a timed ticket.
No tour guide, just tickets, but it worked fine for us. No troubles using our tickets. Great museum!
We booked a museum tour, but unfortunately the museum was closed unexpectedly on the day we booked because of a technical issue. The local tour provider and Viator were very gracious, offered us other options and when those didn’t work they were very quick to refund our money in full. Although we were disappointed we couldn’t go to the museum the customer service from the tour operator and Viator was excellent.
Great outing on a hot day. Did the boat tour in the morning, then to Rodin’s Garden and Museum and then lunch at the Musée d’Orsay and a couple of hours visiting the exhibits.
We had a great entry experience. Viator provided us with a complimentary audio guide, however, the audio guide was just a detailed hour long history of the building and nothing about the art.
It was a passionless tour of one of the great museums in the world. The guide was fine, but no passion, no great stories and tried to cover too much in two hours. For $500, I would say it was overpriced.
Wonderful experience on the private tour. We had only one day available to visit the Orsay and all the standard tickets were sold out so we opted for the private tour and it was worth every penny. Our guide Nermine was extremely knowledgeable and made and effort to incorporate our interests and knowledge. She also knew how to navigate around the crowds and show us the highlights and some hidden treasures. Saved tons of time and learned so much more than we would on our own. Thank you!!

This is only a ticket to Musee d’ Orsay. We booked because it was sold out. Great museum and loved the Sargent exhibit!
Lovely museum, tickets didn’t load. Had to navigate getting tickets with the barcode and reach out while in line, and had to wait in another line because we didn’t have the correct tickets. It was new Years Day, so no one answered the phone # we were directed to call. Thankfully someone responded (rather quickly) via the chat message. But still, not as seamless as I’d have hoped. Recommend booking directly thru the Museum site, instead.
We had not booked tickets until advance and when we checked on the day we wanted to visit the Musee d’Orsay, tickets were sold out for the whole week ahead. This Viator option carries a premium, but worth it if you left things to the last minute and want a time slot ticket.
This museum was amazing very beautiful very different from our contemporary ones that we see today. The use of an old train station was amazing.
Benito is very passionate and knowledgeable about art and history. He led us on a curated journey through the Orsay, explaining the progression of the artworks and their impact on each subsequent piece. We had an excellent, engaged tour. Highly recommend!
Although we received an email stating that we should ignore the name on the ticket (it was not our name), it was still a little confusing and made us a little anxious until we went through the gate.

You should deal with the museum directly. These tickets have a significant markup and they say they come with an audio guide but they do not. You are on your own. The museum told us there is nothing they can do as these guys buy tickets and then mark them up 100%.
Make sure to purchase tickets well in advance in order to avoid standing in long lines. The impressionist sections are well worth the money.
This is a beautiful, modern art museum! Our four grandchildren, ages 7-14 enjoyed seeing the Impressionist artists’ work on canvas and sculptures.
Musee d’Orsay was one of the best museum experiences we have had. A wonderful building beautifully displaying beautiful art. The architecture of the building is something to visit and see. And what a treat to experience the very well curated John Singer Sargent exhibit - brilliant!
Great museum. Impressionists did not disappoint. Lots to see and plenty of gift shops. And the personnel were most helpful. Audio headset did not work after paying an extra 6 euros
Purchasing the fast line to get was the way to go. Everything was very easy and the communication was very clear.
Do not waste your money on buying the extra video as it’s a historical overview and not a guide to the museum
Not the easiest facility to move through (and find toilets!) if you have mobility issues. And a staff member open the toilet door while I was in there.
Really enjoyed the Impressionists exhibit. Particularly Monet. Toulouse-LaTrec was also very interesting.
Leisurely. Great way to see this fabulous museum. Great food in the restaurant. Explanations clear around the artwork.
