My daughter, son (who is a wheelchair user) and I had the best time with our guide Gonzalo. He was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable; we truly enjoyed our experience. And, Gonzalo really looked out for my son which was very much appreciated. He and this beautiful museum tour get 5 stars!!

Our tour guide was amazing..very caring, kept the kids engaged!
However, purchasing tickets, communication from the local tour company wa very poor. We paid more than we should have for the tickets.

Tour set for 4 pm on NYE which is when museum closes entry. After our guide no-showed we sprinted to entrance and made it inside. Tour had no communication and never responded to my repeated requests for contact information. Awful. Asked for a refund. Still awaiting a response.

Gonzalo is a knowledgeable guide. The tour flowed well with how the art style changes overtime. Gonzalo told stories of how artists influenced each others, how some artists decided to break the painting rules and eventually evolved into new painting styles. There are just so much too see in Musee D’Orsay. A good tour guide certainly makes a difference. We were lucky that no other people booked the tour on the same time as us. It became a private tour. Also we were reminded that we need to purchase the general admission tickets ourselves as soon as we booked the tour. Everything went well from booking to the actual tour.

Our tour with Afsaneh was well worth it, especially for families like ours who wanted to maximize our time during a short trip to Paris and make sure that our teenage kids learned a few things about art along the way. Afsaneh was extremely knowledgeable and her passion for art (especially the Impressionists) kept everyone engaged during the tour. I highly recommend.

Fantastic tour. A guide can make or break a tour and our guide was the best. Incredible Lu knowledgeable in communicating the ideas, the importance, the reasons for the paintings (and sculptures) that we viewsd. We ended the tour with new knowledge and appreciation. Our favorite tour in Paris by far!!!

Beware. An entry ticket into the museum is NOT provided in the price. My tour guide was nice to contact me the night prior to the tour. NO reminder to pre purchase an entry ticket. ALSO INSTEAD OF ASSISTING IN PURCHASING THE TICKET ALL I RECEIVED WAS A STERN LECTURE YOU NEED TO READ THE FINE PRINT BETTER!

Our guide was late arriving to the museum. We were not aware that he was trying to contact us through the "Whats App", to let us know he was running late and on his way. This did stress us out, but all's well that ends well!
The tour itself went well, Guide was knowledgeable & helpful.

Went through the museum on a guided tour. The guide was extremely knowledgeable regarding the art as he was himself an artist. He explained the use of colors and to achieve certain effects within the paintings. I enjoyed his explanations and thoughtful comments!

Excellent tour. Great history. We felt so fortunate to have Asif. She showed us how impressionism evolved, and gave us a wonderful over view so that we were able to then go back through the museum and to appreciate the works by the artists covered by the tour and the other artists as well.

If you’re a fan of French Impressionist art this is a must see. There are several classic works by varying artists that are exceptional. Just an amazing array of the masters of that time. Our tour guide was superb. She knew the details that are what made the tour special. I can’t remember her name but she was a very elegant black woman. Thank you for making this tour special.

We had an outstanding experience! Our guide Afsaneh was incredibly knowledgeable and interesting. A professor of art history, Afsaneh spoke about individual art works, the contexts in which they were created, and perspectives on viewing the paintings which provided a very substantive experience. I would give her a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend.

It is important to have a guide in this very busy, crowded museum. Our guide, Afsaneh, was not only a beautiful lady, but extremely knowledgeable about the art, the layout of the museum, and how to talk to her guests. She showed us key pieces of art, explained how to look at the art, and answered any questions we had. It was clear that she loved the art. I highly recommend this tour. It is well worth paying for the guide and tour. It may seem expensive, but a guide will help you understand how to get around this large museum, how to look at the art, and how to find the art of your interests.

You need to buy your ticket to the museum separately and before the day of your tour. We did not buy our tickets ahead of time so we could not get in. We asked our private tour guide if she could show us around the area since we were the only ones on the tour. She did not want to do this so told us a few things we could do in the area and that was it. We lost our money for 2 minutes of her time.

We booked a semi private tour through an agent on a chat. After paying I realized that the tickets (to enter the museum) were not included so I asked the person in the chat. She said they were included. A day after I received a text saying “don’t forget to buy tickets”. I mentioned the chat and Viator was very kind and purchased the tickets for me and organized a private tour for our family at a different time as there were no tickets left at the time I originally had purchased the tickets. That was great customer service!!!
The tour guide Gonzalo was amazing! He texted me the day before, reminded me where to find him, was there on time and agave us the most amazing tour. I’ve been there before but this tour exceeded my expectations. He was so passionate about art and also made it great for my 14 and 7 year old daughters.

Incredible museum with so many famous paintings. You really need to return after the tour to have more time to view the paintings after you know more about the artists. Our guide was outstanding.
